Please post more than just the title. At least explain why you like the game. It's an absolutely pointless exercise in posting just the title. It says nothing other than you like a game others don't. May as well write that down on a piece of paper and throw it in sea.

Star Wars: Battlefront II.

Aside from the whole microtransactions scandal, it's a really fun game. Way more fun than the first.

gta 5. ugh the amount of hate it gets especially on this forum is sad.

max payne 3. i remember when the game came out people were mad at this game. because it took time away from rockstar making gta 5. i was one of them. until i saw gameplay and realized it looked good. so i got it and loved it.

mafia 3. i really liked this game. i never ran into any of the bugs or glitches people complained about. i loved the story and gameplay. although i will admit it did start to feel a bit repetitive with the taking over territories. but it did not stop my enjoyment of the game. i hope one day they make a mafia 4.

call of duty advanced warfare. this is my favorite cod game. i loved it. from the exo suits. to the laser weapons. to the maps. almost everything about this game was a masterpiece. the story zombies and multiplayer. i could go on all day about how amazing it was. but it makes me sad that so many people hated it. and the silly thing is before aw came. people kept saying they wanted something new and that cod was the same thing every year. and we sure got something new. but no then they decided they wanted old school cods. its such a shame because i would have loved to see an advanced warfare 2. much more than cod ww2.

No Man's Sky.

People still remember how it was at Launch. It's really good now. The developers actually took all the sh*t, owned up to all of their lies, and made the game better. It is so much better now. If you want a chill exploration game with an infinite amount of content and planets, this is perfect.

Well...

-Mafia 3: Back then, I was pretty harsh on it, but when I played the demo, I really liked it and looking forward to getting the actual full game. Hopefully, I won't change my mind.

-Max Payne 3: Why did this game get so much hate within its release? Because it wasn't like the other 2 games? Max Payne 2, IMO, was the weakest in the series though I did still like it.

-GTA V: Say all you want, but I still think this game gets way too much hate, especially on these forums. Major flaws, yes, but still better than most open world games in this generation. I even liked it more than San Andreas.

-Watch Dogs 2: This game gets a certain amount of hate too. This game fixed everything that the first one went wrong with, and it actually lived up to the hype, unlike the first installment. The story, however, is subpar compared to the first game.

-Battlefield Hardline: While the story itself is one huge cop themed cliche, I actually still liked it to an extent. The gunplay was solid, the stealth mechanics are fine, but the graphics seem a bit outdated at best.

I will try to think of more games, haven't been playing a lot of them.

Good shout. This is my favourite Battlefield, and it's an EXTREMELY unpopular opinion. I thought this was the most fun and original Battlefield. I put hundreds of hours in to it, where as I got bored with the other Battlefield games. I loved the Cops & Robbers theme, it had great modes like Heist and I thought the maps were very well done.

I do agree the Campaign sucked, but none of the Battlefield campaigns are particularly great.

Oh yeah...I forgot to mention SR3.

While I do think going from a regular gangster themed game, to fighting aliens on space is a HORRIBLE idea, I still found SR3 to be fun at the most part. It's definitely not as good as the second game, (never played SR1 as it looks very bland and outdated), but you'll still have a hell of a time.

I might even pick up SR4, haha.

Saints Row 3 is legitimately good, Saints Row 4 on the other hand....I don't know, man. That's one game I think is actually just bad.

They completely killed the gangster theme and just went balls-to-the-wall insane with superpowers and all sorts of stuff that didn't really make sense.

So I've heard. I've watched gameplay of it once, and goddamn, vehicles are completely useless now that you have superpowers...

Recently it has to be Days Gone. I'm convinced if Naughty Dog made it, it would be getting unanimous praise. It's far from being "generic" like what people say. May not be the most original game ever made, but that doesn't make it bad.

From memory a lot of people went sour on it because it halted information on GTA V which is quite frankly a dumb reason, but I guess some people didn't like the Brazilian setting. I've always said that the people who complain about R*'s recent games being "clunky" should play MP3 and see how silky smooth R.A.G.E can be and it's more of a design choice than a fault of it being "clunky".

However I wish it would become BC on the XB1. It's the only R* game I want to play on my XB1 now with GTA IV obviously.

I think Days Gone looks rather interesting. It's getting destroyed in the reviews, and I have no clue why. Too bad I only have an XB1 and I can't play it and see for myself.

Because people expected The Last Of Us in an open world it seems. I guess this is a downside to only one console and exclusives. Not everyone is as fortunate as me has a PS4 and XB1.😛

Oh yeah. I think game is amazing.

Played it for the first time last year and I like how it's not afraid to explore the psychological effects of war instead of just being another military shooter. Game looks great too for its age.

- Days Gone; I've been playing it for the last two weeks and I'm really enjoying it, this game is the perfect excuse to not trust any reviewer out there.

- GTA V; I just put it here to remind you all that I'm one of those few people of this forum that loved this game lol.

- Resident Evil 5; While others were hating it because wathever reason I was trying unlock every thing this game had to offer.

Do that many people really hate Days Gone?

I thought it was very solid. I feel like people have really unrealistic expectations for games these days. Days Gone was exactly the type of experience I was expecting, and whilst repetitive, the gameplay is enjoyable and the World is solid.

Maybe people are just so burnt out of Open World games.

WATCH_DOGS - a lot of people hate the game due to Ubisoft "downgrading" the game, funny, because the demos were just a slice of it, whole game got changed multiple times until it went into deadlines and we ended up with this as final product instead, anyway, the game has a good and dark story, the gameplay is nice, although it isn't the best, the map is OK, and its pretty fun to play, originally it was meant to be a GTA Killer, not anymore, but it's still a good game

Paladins.

I see so many people that call it an Overwatch clone and bash it non-stop. It's a pretty fun game, and it's nothing like Overwatch at all if you actually play it. I've put hundreds of hours in to Overwatch and it still took me a while to learn Paladins.

The Saboteur! It's a great game really, I like the Nazi-occupied France setting. Blowing up things, freeing the very compact France, going around security checkpoints (or just literally crashing through them and attracting attention), the variety of tanks you can find even at the start of the game and the chaos they create, and let's not forget scaling the buildings and using wires to move from a building to another. All of these made a nice package. It just had one problem, you see, it was published by Electronic Arts. Not only did they include some silly paid DLC with the sole purpose of removing censors off women's nipples in very few spots across the map (thankfully the version GOG provides has that DLC already, but other ones are problematic), but also it was the last game Pandemic Studios produced...before they were sabotaged by EA (pun intended). Despite the signs of there being rushing, the game is actually solid for what it provides, but not many people seem to love it as much as I did.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel

I've played a little bit of it, it's fun. As long as you don't expect Borderlands 2, you're fine. Took me a while to get used to the Oxygen mechanic. That was about it.

I still have this game. I like its Sin City esque art style.

People seem to think The Sims 4 is worse than the other Sims games, and I say it's mostly nostalgia. I'm incredibly nostalgic about the older Sims games but if you go back and play them, they were really limited. I think Sims 4 is pretty great, it has a lot of different hobbies you can do and it feels satisfying getting more skilled in the things you like doing. The careers are also pretty in depth. I'd definitely say Sims 3 is better, but the amount of people that bashed on 4 surprises me.

Ot:MAX PAYNE

This is the most underrated game of all time, it gets no hate but people don’t mention it at all like that game doesn’t exist. what this game has:

-story

-combat

-characters

-atmosphere

-soundtrack

-protagonist

-snowy new york

-dark/scary/creepy atmosphere

-level design

-quotes

-things that may mean something

-crime feeling

I don’t need to add “awesome” before everything because “...i guess you already know that😉.”

Most of the reasons have to do with the setting, atmosphere etc. Gameplay wise I don't think there's much to fault with Max Payne 3 since it's a competent third person shooter and one of the best in the genre objectively speaking ignoring subjective taste like atmosphere, story, characters etc. As much as I love GTA IV's shooting mechanics I think Max Payne 3 has the best shooting mechanics of any R* game. It's smooth, brutal and so satisfying.

Admittedly I'm not as much of a fan of the Max Payne series as GTA or RDR and I only have a bit of experience with the first game, but I didn't mind Brazil. It felt refreshing instead of just sticking to typical locations most games stick to and the New Jersey flashbacks were a nice touch being more akin to the first game.

Oh do I...

1. True Crime streets of NY- It has a lot of bugs, glitches, being unfinished and  having a lot mechanical issues so I can see why a lot of people hate it. If only Activision took their time the game could have given GTA SA some competition. The reasons why I enjoyed it was because of it's storyline and the Map of Manhattan  was really detailed. They almost got everything right.

2. GTA IV/ V- Although I criticize GTA IV in the past for not having a lot of content and feeling too down Earth for it to be a GTA game, I still never understood the hate for it. Although they removed a lot of features that you had in San Andreas, it has it's own thing going for it and that's it's physics system. It outshines a lot of OWG to this day in a lot of categories when it comes to realism. That's what I like about it. The hate cycle continues to this day with GTA V. People often bash GTA V because some people wanted it to be more like San Andreas while others wanted it to be more like IV. When it's technically a mix between the both of them. The only thing I agree with them on is they should've focused more on the SP aspect and brought in some DLC for that instead paying attention to just GTA Online. But GTA V has a great SP. Infact it has more content than all the GTAs except San Andreas. Not to mention how smooth and responsive the mechanics and controls are.

3. Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity- I actually enjoyed this game and I felt a lot people could've too if the developers polished it a little more and designed the levels better

4. Def Jam Icon- I liked this game as well but I was disappointed in it when I got it. A lot fans of the Def Jam Series were really pissed seeing how EA removed almost everything that made Def Jam fight for NY gold and replace it with... well let's just say a bunch of things no one asked for to begin with. There's way too many things for me to list. What got me was the storyline, characters, voice acting and character customization,  to mention the turn-tabling special moves. But let's be honest here. Blazing moves are way better.

5. Hitman Absolution- Maybe I'm being a little biased with this one because it was  my first Hitman game that I played and beat and I was a teenager so I was easily impressed. But a lot of veterans of the series from what I heard didn't like it because it didn't feel like Hitman game. I played a beat the few of the older ones when I got older but I still to this day understand the hate for it. I feel like Absolution has it's own vibe and 47 should have a personal story especially after Blood and Money.

6. Resident Evil 6- At first I was going to say RE4, but then I realized it's mostly fans who been with RE series way before that don't appreciate it. A lot of people from what I seen actually love RE4. So it was between RE6 and RE0 and I chose RE6. I liked it. Greatly acted, great presentation, it's repayable, the characters are awesome and there are a lot of touching moments. However, the reasons why people hate it are obvious. The game doesn't feel like Resident evil (Except Leon's campaign up until you hit China). It doesn't feel like a survival game. It's just full on action, with a lot of hand holding and there's barely any puzzles.

I could list more but than I would end up writing a book.
