Please post more than just the title. At least explain why you like the game. It's an absolutely pointless exercise in posting just the title. It says nothing other than you like a game others don't. May as well write that down on a piece of paper and throw it in sea.

I enjoy playing Hatred and IS Defense from time to time. Two games made by the same company, and both of them caused plenty of controversy when they were new, even in this forum. Now, I get why they are so badly regarded, as they are morally wrong in our current social context, the devs used rather questionable advertising methods, and they might even have questionable beliefs. And certainly the games themselves aren't even close to being the usual GOTY material that is discussed here. But, you know what? From a personal point of view, they served me as excellent stress relievers, in a way any GTA game ever did. Plus the devs gave me excellent techincal support when I needed it. I certainly don't regret spending a few bucks on them, as they have become dirt cheap over time.

Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder...

...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

I love Hatred. I know the devs used edgy marketing, but there's a place for games like that and to pretend it's worse than most games where you kill is silly. And IS Defense, as simple as it is, is a lot of fun.

Mafia 2. IDK why it got so many negative and mixed reviews. It had a good gameplay, gorgeous graphics for its time,an amazing story and atmosphere,a superb soundtrack and really good physics. But for an unknown reason most reviewers gave the game a 7/10 max!

PES Series, the only reason everyone hates PES so much nowadays is because it's less popular than FIFA.

Black ops 1, yes believe it or not back in 2010 everyone hated this game and now everyone loves it. It got lower reviews than the earlier CODs and people called it a "dumped down version of MW2" despite being a vastly superior game in every single aspect. Still my favorite COD to date.

Max Payne 3. Good gameplay, amazing story, great graphics, amazing physics and IMHO an amazing sequel that had the max payne feeling despite others claming it wasnt a max payne game.

And i think GTA V would fit in that list at this point. Back in 13' everyone praised it and now just by mentioning its name everyone goes sh*tcrazy, explaning how it's the worst game ever and anyone who likes it should be gassed. Despite the online,i still enjoy the game, espesially modded!

For me it's way better than its disappointing successor. Like any game it's not without its faults, but still a sold game all round.

I thought Sonic Heroes was one of the best Sonic games.

Rogue Warrior...I understood people who paid full price being upset by the short campaign but if you get it on sale it has its moments.

Most importantly how can I be angry at a game that ends with Micky Rourke playing a real life Navy Seal Richard Marcinko doing a little rap for us.

I think TLAD deserves a mention. Whilst it might be held in higher regard amongst the GTA IV community in general I just get the sense it's not that popular especially compared to TBOGT which is more flashy and more accessible with its over the top content.

Biker themed games never seem to be done that well (Thanks Ride To Hell), but TLAD is one of those hidden diamonds in the rough.

The N. Bellic Man

The Darkness. I just finished it yesterday (the first time in almost 10 years) and I have to say that the story and the atmosphere are top notch. They are at least as good as I remembered. Shooting mechanics might be a little dated but then again I usually use weapons only to kill lights not enemies. Kirk Acevedo and Mike Patton also do some fine voice acting. All in all this game is a near masterpiece.

Fable 3.

I know some people see it as ruining the franchise and while I agree that the first 2 were better, I really liked Fable 3 as well. It was the first Fable game where you become king and the game continues. You can decide the fate of the people and keep/break promises you gave throughout the game.

I agree. I'd stick a 8.5 rating on the game.

The Resident Evil: Outbreak series. I think the reason why it was a flop is because they're very different from vanilla RE. Unconnected scenarios instead of a proper story, undeveloped main characters, etc. But eh, I thought it was fun, especially hunting down the special items.

Sea of Thieves because I find it relaxing just sailing around looking for non-quest specific chests or loot on random islands.

Overwatch.

This game gets SO much hate on Reddit. I'm not sure if it's the same everywhere else, but man, people sure love to sh*t on this game. To be fair, it does have a lot of issues, but it's still a very fun team-based shooter. I always enjoy coming back to it.

Homefront

Homefront the Revolution.

Never played the first one but played the beta of The Revolution. Seemed like a solid game for me. It's on Game Pass. Just haven't got around to it. Will do eventually.

Play it to the end and you can actually see my real life office window.  No sh*t.  Somewhere I have a screenshot but couldn't find it.

I almost sh*t my pants when the end sequence involved zip lining to where I work.

I did find this picture (pure coincidence) of me standing where the final battle takes place.

The Evil Within.

Whilst I definitely agree with some of the complaints, and had some gripes myself. I still thought it was a decent survival horror experience. It felt like the old Resident Evil games, and was an absolute mindf*ck. The second game was also pretty good, and underrated.

I feel like they'll get more appreciated with time, and may become somewhat of a cult game.

Big Fat Paulie

I admit I unironically enjoy the first Godfather game for PS2. Even if it's non-canon because Francis Ford Coppola threw a hissy fit.

I also love the original Rumble Roses (also for PS2) and the Dead or Alive series (including the fanservice-laden Xtreme Beach Volleyball games)

Is this The Guy?

Dead Island

I loved the setting and the whole open world survival zombie type atmosphere.

Despite bugs that made the game damn near unplayable after a certain point and the ridiculous enemy leveling I enjoyed the game.

Ive been waiting for the sequel for what seems like forever but looks like it’s in development limbo.

Resident Evil 6.

Now admittedly I'm not exactly a diehard Resident Evil fan and I can understand the criticisms how it diverges a lot from the classic survival horror roots of the originals, but I don't think that makes itself a bad game necessarily. I've just started playing it again and I think it's pretty fun.

It's best to think of it as an action game with some horror elements. I love how Resident Evil 7 brought back survival horror and I'm still yet to buy the Resident Evil 2 remake, but I get the sense Resident Evil 6 is seen as the black sheep in the franchise, but like I said I'm not really a diehard Resident evil fan and have only started playing the games in the last couple of years.

I like this game as well, at least when you don't look at it as a Resident Evil game and just a fun action-packed horror experience. You find yourself enjoying it a lot more. I thought the Co-op of the game was very well done, it's like a million times more fun with a friend to play with.
