Please post more than just the title. At least explain why you like the game. It's an absolutely pointless exercise in posting just the title. It says nothing other than you like a game others don't. May as well write that down on a piece of paper and throw it in sea.

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

I stand by this game being beyond just a decent shooter. Yes, it's definitely not amazing, nor a masterpiece but for what it was, it was pretty damn good. Played like a watered down Gears of War, or any other cover-based third person shooter and sure there wasn't a real story, but what could you expect out of a 50 Cent game? Plus, since Bulletproof was a travesty, they really made up for it with this one.

I still have my copy for Xbox 360 and I know they'll never make it backwards compatible for Xbox One unfortunately. My only gripe with the game was that it had coop, where Player 2 plays as a member of G-Unit but of course there was no split-screen coop, only online. So whenever I proved to someone that the game wasn't bad, I could never play with them and have an even better experience rather than having to hand over the controller and let them try themselves.

Honorable mentions:

DOOM 2016's multiplayer

GTA IV

Duke Nukem Forever's multiplayer

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City's multiplayer

Resident Evil 6

Fallout 4?

Star Wars Battlefront

Battlefield Hardline's campaign

Saints Row 3+4

Just some I can think of right now.

Oh how could I forget Watch Dogs 1? Enjoyed that one about five times more than GTA V.

Saints row the third or as detractors call it saints row the turd. I like it because it's the first saints row I played. I later played saints row 2 but I enjoyed that one as well. Most hate it because it jumped the shark and strayed away story wise from the previous installments but I like the humor and it because it's a 3d sandbox open world game that feels like an arcade Coin-Op and I haven't played one of those in ages. I love the silly humerous moments like pierce drinking that saints flow drink and going for a slam dunk after kicking ass In that commercial it was delightfully cheesy if there is such a thing or when Your character and pierce are going for a ride and sublimes "what I got" comes on the radio and they sing along or your character carrying zimo on a rickshaw and he's cracking jokes in Autotune.

Then there's the over thetop missioms that are filled with action chaos and pandemonium. There's a buttload of side activities like trafficking, pimping etc and they are replayable even if they are grayed out on the map. You have the professor genki game show with Jessy Ventura as a commentator. You have an ally voiced by Sasha gray and Nikki benz There's so much to do , so much customization I don't care if the story is not serious or the games engine is based on realism or physics it feels the way a video game should it feels like.........FUN!

On a side note I refuse to play saints row four and five they really jumped the shark. I hope they reboot and take it back to the feel of saints row 2 with current gen graphics this time around.

That reminds me... I used to hate SRTT. I'm pretty sure I once left a YT comment saying it was the most disappointing thing since The Phantom Menace, haha. I was a very staunch member of the "they ruined the series and turned it into a farce" camp. But then a few years later, after beating GTA V and wanting another sandbox game to play, I decided to give SRTT another try, and was shocked to find myself loving it. Maybe it's because I'd known from SRIV previews that Johnny Gat was not lamely killed off-screen, or maybe it's because I had no expectations, but somehow I chilled the f*ck out and learned to love this over-the-top game with goofy scenarios and insanely over-the-top action. And then I got SRIV on my birthday and really loved that too, after scoffing at the very announcement saying it would feature virtual reality and aliens. I'm still kind of surprised by my newfound appreciation for the zanier take on SR.

The direction taken by SRTT and SRIV isn't my preferred tone for a sandbox crime game, and I can completely understand everyone who says the series jumped the shark, but I like it a lot more now than I did in late 2011. To me now, SR is kind of like James Bond or Batman, either being played more serious or being played for goofy over-the-top camp. Either approach works for me, provided it's done well.

The SRIV formula would've been fine had the "wacky lolz" attitude existed from the start. Introducing it after two semi-serious installments wreck the dynamic.

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

I thought I was the only one. I remember the first time I picked the game the guy at gamestop looked at me with a wierd face like I had kicked a cat to death. Still worth it.

I agree about RE6 and RE ORC. If you played the game like an action game while doing wrestling moves and stylish sh*t the game is fun as hell. Especially in the Mercenaries mod.

I thought the same thing after play 3 the first time. Now I love every single Saints Row.1\2 and 3/4 are good if you treat 3/4 as spin offs. Both types are good. I hope Saints Row 5 is a reboot which goes back to Saints 2 style but with the abillity to make it wacky if you want. For example the story could be serious but then you have side quests/stories that have all the wackines that Saints 3/4 has. They should also bring back the customizability and the tons of detail/interiors/random events that happened. I always love the times the peds decides to fight for one reason or another. Seeing a pimp posse fight the police without the player trigering it or being involved in it never gets old.

I will be posting a few more games soon. I have some more on my mind that I can't remember.

Deus Ex: Invisible War - Got this for my original Xbox back in the day shortly after my grandfather got me the console as a gift. I had no idea what I was getting at the time but I absolutely loved it. Later I find out through old reviews and whatnot that the majority weren't too pleased with it. I've played the other Deus Ex games since then and I honestly still don't know what everyone is on about with Invisible War.

Viking: Battle For Asgard - I love this game to death but, again, later on through old reviews I find out that it wasn't very well received.

I was pretty late to the gaming party and clueless back then but I still try to approach things the same way and not read into reviews or the majority's opinion on a game too much before trying it out for myself.

Damn I've had a lot of coffee.

AC Syndicate was amazing and didn't understand where all the hate is coming from. Exploring the most gorgeus city Ubisoft ever created with the grappling hook was awesome, outstanding atmosphere and the gang vibe was great.

Maaaybe Watch Dogs 2 had a better city but it's hard to compare. London was a historic city which felt like a trip back in time.

Halo Reach was the best game in the series.

Garfield and Asterix&Obelix PS2 games were two of my favorite games of that era. Played through A&O2 three times.

Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog also count to my favorite childhood games.

Just Cause 3 was good. Many hated it.

Fifa Street 3.

The same place all the Ubisoft hate comes from. It's usually completely senseless with maybe a sliver of truth to it all.

Syndicate was a step back from Unity in a few ways but it was still a good game.

Saints Row 3-4 (actually have their own identity instead of being poor GTA clones like the first two)

Deus Ex Mankind Divided (way better than HR and somehow it was bashed a lot and didn't sell well, wtf)

Batman Arkham Origins (by far the best story of an Arkham game, the characters were well developed and the atmosphere awesome. But since Rocksteady didn't make it, it apparently sucks..)

And most of all GTA IV! Best GTA game of all time with the best story and characters, best city, physics etc. but too mature for its fanbase

Mankind Divided is a step up in a a lot of ways but the marketing was awful and the story was a train wreck.

The marketing was sh*t but I dont think the story was bad/a trainwreck. It was just incomplete, what we got was interesting but SE was so stupid that they cut half the game to make a sequel.....

The game is still great for the improved gameplay, awesome side quests and some interesting story but it definitely could have been much more if SE wasn't dumb and greedy

I liked Mafia 3. Everybody cried and boohood about how repetitive it was, but play COD and GTA all day every f*ckin' day of the week.

Right...

Battlefield Hardline - not a Multiplayer gamer at all but I loved Hardlines single-player campaign, funny & well-written script, a decent story with lots of twists & turns & also, every mission is highly intense, easily one of my favourite shooters.

Army of Two The Devils cartel - not a game I have a strong passion for by any means but it's not a terrible game like most reviews made it out to be, far from it. it's a quite decent shooter IMO

Deus Ex: HR and MK. Both underrated games and both games that may not have done super well commercially.

Fallout 4. I get the some hate. It's not that precious to me but some of the hate, I think, is unfounded.

Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit: 2. Man, I loved that game. Got all gold in the single player races and challenges. MP was a lot of fun. One of the few MP games that I was very good at.

Mafia 2.

Not saying it's not liked, but underrated.

I hope it becomes backwards compatible because I'd really like to play it again. I still prefer it to Mafia III. Mafia III's a good game, but it tries way too hard to be like GTA IMO.

Mafia II knows it really isn't a sandbox game per say and stays true to the Mafia formula. I also prefer Vito as a young, upcoming mafiaoso in this game too.

I accidentally found that game a couple days ago while organizing my stuff. It's pretty much like you say. But I have to say that if you rate it as a 50 Cent game it is kind of a masterpiece. I tried it today first time in 8 years and it is even better than I remembered. Of course it's not a real classic, but combat is above average if you compare it to other similar shooters during that era. It even has quite decent voice acting - Lance Reddick from The Wire is one of the baddies. But overall it is a very linear game.

Heh, I had bought Saint's Row the Fourth on release day at the Midnight event, took it home played it and actually enjoyed it. I only did this because at the time there was tons of hate toward it's release. I have never played or owned any other game in the series. I took the game as it was presented and enjoyed the f*ck out of it.
