Da Elite Ninjah
I am a car guy. I work in an office but in my free time sometimes build trackcars. Swapping engines and such I got my bike license and my car license when i was old enough to take the exam. I drive a old rusty bimmer. In game this has no effect at all, i buy what is best for a class. not looking at prices or looks. mx5

Absolut
Yeah, i am a car guy, too. I keep my daily drivers running, have always done everything to them by myself. Due to the interesting take my dear country takes on fuel taxes, i am forced to drive diesel. I am more into older cars, big americans, but also small euro stuff. Hate japanese cars with abandon, minus obvious ones. If engine has character, and chassis is good, i'll love it, regardless of anything else. The one marque i probably adore most, is citroen. The engineering in their more innovative cars is stellar. Love italians too, it's a shame that neither french or italian cars are fond of Finish weather and road grime. I love to find out about their engineering, their design, everything. mx5
davey1975pafc
I past my test in the UK in 1991. 1st car was a Ford capri. I had a spate over the years of buying newish big cars. But for the last few years reverted back to old uns. Now I go everywhere in my beloved 16 yr mitsubishi galant. Obviously loved the kuruma as it's the closest thing to it in game. Like a fully tricked out 5 series (forget the in game name for it) sums and executive cruisers are my goal thing. Begrudgingly own a few supers to be able to get away quick what a car the capri is, I bet that was a fun ride when you first got it! it was fun indeed. Very tail happy I had to learn to drive the hard way with that one! A few fails mx5
Polaco
When I was 3 years old, I had my first "car". It was a pedal car, a Porsche Boxster (986 gen). They (my parents) say that, when I first saw that on a toy store, I did not wanted to go back home till my dad went there and bought it. I could call it a "car", not even being a real car, and at first, I hated the fact it was a pedal car, and not electric, but later, I loved the fact of it being a pedal version, because I could go faster than the electric one. As I grew, I learned to draw, and started my own projects. I made car models with pasteboard, because I couldn't find cheap good and cheap toys. All the good scale models were imported, and very expensive, and the ones which weren't expensive, were those from Hot Wheels, the small ones, and from those I have a collection. As I watched the Fast and Furious, the first movie, I completely fell in love for cars. My dad, at that time, was a Trucker, and so, I got a huge love for them too. I got a bicycle, and I was always customizing it. I love to customize things, to create them. So, when I was 10 years old, I got my first computer. It was...good, for that time. Definitely not the best, far from it to be honest, but I loved it still. After playing few games, I got GTA SA for PC (the only videogame which I had was a MegaDrive Sega, on which I loved to play a game from Senna, on Monaco...and that game even had manual transmission), and started to mod the game as I finished its story. Well, dowloading mods, installing...not much. I discovered 18 WoS series (Truck Simulator, predecessor of ETS, and now, ETS2). I got maps from my country to that game, and it was great: simulator, trucks and my country. But I wanted more, so I learned to mod. I can say I became a master modding that thing, and made many modifications. I went back to GTA SA, this time, the famous SA:MP. I played a lot on Trucking Servers, and started modding for GTA too. I made some vehicles there, and then, I left it, to play other simulators. Recently (about one year ago), I got GTA V. I did not made any mods or anything for this (yet). I'm currently working on another projects. Now, lets say, "far" from games, I started to learn more about cars, things those I always loved. In 2 years, I acquired many knownledge, but there's a lot to learn yet, and I love it. My reference site for today is FlatOut, from Brazil, a great site I'd say. I started to love Motorsport (before, I loved street races and that stuff), learn about pilots, history, and many many things. I'd say I feel a bit alive again. Currently, even with over than 2,000,000km's on simulators, many many hours on them (Not trucking simulators like ETS2 only, but those like rFactor and Assetto Corsa), I know there's a lot to learn still. Currently, I don't have a car, but as soon as I can, I'll get one. My plans for now are something different from we have here on my country...something "tough", like a E320 W210 or an Audi 80 (quattro). The future has to be written. Besides love for aircrafts (and some knownledge on them, especially about WW2), I love cars. I can't tell which I like more, but that's me. For some people, cars are a way to move, from A to B. For people like me, I can't put the feelings into words, because, if I could, it wouldn't be a true love for that. Spade115
I have been driving since I was about 11, but that was because my grandfather was showing me how to drive his old truck, but learned it was mostly because he was forgetting where he was (Altheimers) and I was his "navigator" to get back home. Got my license at 18, Have a love for muscle cars and usually can be seen driving (online) in my lowrider Sabre, I have owned mostly lifted trucks and currently own a 15 challenger V6 (Bought for the wife) and I drive my 85 FXRC. I rode around on a Dameon for a while, but gave it up for a Bagger and for the Free Roam missions I usually just use the Gargoyle (Indian Scout) or Hakuchou (Hayabusa) in game. My next real life purchase will be a 69 Roadrunner or 49 Merc (If I can find them lol) Added new pic, Not the prettiest, not the fastest, but she's mine Edited August 31, 2016 by Spade115 mx5 and GTA-Biker
Rewdalf
Got my license as soon as it was legal to. Was driving by 17. Started with a sh*t-box, which got totaled by a careless driver. Moved on to a 2005 Golf GL, five-speed. Didn't have a lot of money to get a really nice second car, but I had more to work with after the insurance on the first one plus a little extra. Would have liked a GTI, but I made the most of the Golf and started working on it. Didn't get too far, plus it's an SOHC 2.0 4-cyl, which really limits possible upgrades... So after saving up some cash from birthdays and Christmas, went out and grabbed a car I've always wanted. 1988 Porsche 924S. Was cheap due to "transmission troubles," which ended up being a really simple fix. Just need to spruce up the drive train a little more and begin work on the exterior. Since I've got a reliable daily driver, the Porsche is a long-term "take-it-easy" project. I work on it as I get money and time. All of my garages in-game are filled with cars that look nice, and only cars that look nice to me. PajeroJonas
My first car was a '67 VW Beetle. Mine too I had a 1300 6 volt and 5 bolt pattern. Got the Beetle when I took my license in 1991 (i'm born in -72, which means I'm 27+ years old). Had a few cars since then. VW 1500S -64 , Volvo 745 GLT 16V -88, Volvo 940 Turbo -98, VW Golf GTi Mk2 -84 among others. Daily driver for the moment is a Volvo V40 2.0T -99 and my mistress is the trusty old Mitsubishi Pajero Canvas -88 (or Shogun/Montero/Dodge Raider depending where you are in the world) actual photo in the avatar. I love muscle cars, haven't owned one yet, but I make up for it in GTA I also love the Casco and the Stinger. You could say I like older cars, cars with personality not a ecu In game I choose car based on looks and feel, not performance. When I customize I try to get as close as possible to the IRL version. ChokuDori
Been driving for nearly 10 years. Father had bad arthritis, so I was forced to get behind the wheel at a young age(14-15) and get my permit so I could pick up my mother from work. Got into drifting during my high school years while working 2 part time jobs to fund my JDM addiction. At the time, drove a 240SX with an SR20 black top swap(USDM models came with an N/A KA20). Fast forward to college years, moved to California and had to leave the 240 behind in Hawaii(would not pass Cali emission laws). Over the next 6 years in CA, went thru multiple cars which include a 2010 Maxima & a 2010 STI. The Subaru was later sold to pay off my college tuition. After college, started getting into Japanese "VIP style" builds. VIP style consists of JDM cars sitting extremely low on wide, deep-dish wheels, with large focus on luxurious interior modifications Traditionally they're big, executive Nissans, Toyotas, and Hondas.(if you're not familiar with the term "VIP Style" cars go ahead and google it. And yes, it is part of the "stance" culture that's oh so hated). Though I sold my Subie, I held onto the Maxima which stayed mostly stock for it's first 4 years on the road, but two years ago I started my "VIP style" build, and now she's a stance turd. Couldn't be happier but considering moving onto a big body Lexus. In regards to my love for Japanese cars, my GTA garage does in fact consist of big body sedans and imports. Rarely do I ever drive my supercars on GTA. Edited August 31, 2016 by ChokuDori TG_Stig, Spade115, owl-man and 6 others
Guy with a Beer
Currently own a 2011 Holden SS Commodore. 6.0lt V8, 6spd manual with power going to the rear wheels like they should in any real car and also a 2010 Hyundai Getz for the missus. Over the years I have owned a number of earlier modeks as well. Looking to upgrade in 2017 to the latest model which features a Corvette engine. Started driving gokarts (competitive) at 12, got a licence to race cars at 16 and got my road licence at 18 and 1 month (broke my collar bone just before my 18th) Best I have driven on the road is a Ferrari F430 spider or Aston Martin V12 Vantage and on the track it would be a Reynard 95D. If I could own anycar, I would take a Ferrari F40 any day of the. I would love to even just drive one. mx5 and ChokuDori
Driver92
Hell yes, such a nice thread.I got my license with 17, but had no car because i was still in school and had no money for my own car. After i found a job at a local car dealership i bought myself a 1994 BMW 316i Coupe in moreagreen metallic. That was 3 years ago and i still own it , its a nice little cruiser and never failed me. It may has the smallest engine of all 3 series but that has several reason. In germany taxes and gas is quite expensive so i wanted a nice looking car with classic FR-layout that isnt too expensive. Except from that i dont need to race, i´m a smooth driver and i like cars for it looks the most. Of course i like fast cars too as my favorite would be a Porsche 997.2 Carrera but i would drive a 1968 Beetle anytime it would be offered to me because its such a beautiful car ! All in all i think modern cars are all to bulky and heavy and look all the same kind of , that why i prefer cars made before 2000.Also all the electronic sh*t that i dont need , at work we got so many customers that come back because their power trunkdoor isnt working, their power seats arent working , their electric parkbrake isnt working , i got no problems with that ,i got no electric sh*t I think one can tell that i like cars for it looks by my garage in GTAO because there´re a lot of classics that arent that fast.Im not that typical "driving my Zentorno with Dollarrims around because its expensive"-car guy ^^ Also i bought myself a second 316i but as a compact for the wintertime to prevent my Coupe from rusting Edited August 31, 2016 by Driver92 mx5

TheFroggmann
Yet another "car guy" Nothing real cool in the stable but I do what I can with what I got. Been wrenching since I was 14 and driving since I was 17. I'd tell you the years but I've run out of fingers and toes. Current vehicles are a 1993 Ford Bronco: And a 2002 Maxima that no longer looks like this (Clearcoat has roasted off) Still wrench but not as often anymore but, I'm still capable. I almost have the neighbor's 57 Chevy 1 ton running after sitting for 25 years and replaced the transmission in the Maxima earlier this year. Sooner or later I'd like to pick up a project vehicle. Something along the lines of my first two vehicles a '63 Thunderbird or a 72 Ford Truck. But time will tell...
