GTA Episodes from Liberty City on PS4?

Was wondering with Rockstar adding GTA 2, Vice City and San Andreas to the PS STORE will they be adding GTA IV and TLAD/TBOGT as well at some point ?? Would love to play these games again at some point in the near future

Nope, due to PS4 hardware structure is being very different than PS3, games are not possible to get emulated (you know all of the PS2 classics are not ports but emulated with official emulator, right?)

 

And they simply will not put that much effort and a large amount of money to develop an emulator for different architecture of PS3.

 

Even if it would be possible to get PS3 games emulated, PS4 aren't that powerful to play them properly. Emulators aren't like ported games, they need to have A LOT more power to get them run.

 

You can play a small amount of PS3 games on your PS4 with Playstation Now, it will simply display video streaming from another PS3 to your screen and will detect your key inputs to make character do actions, but you need to have powerful internet connection. Sadly, GTA IV and EFLC aren't included in that small library yet, but maybe in future.

 

Also, I didn't saw GTA 2 being released on PS Store, is there any link for that? AFAIK only III, VC and SA got released for PS4.
