You can't transfer modded account(s) anymore?

I'd actually welcome R* stopping players from transferring their accounts from PS3/360 to PS4/XB1. It has almost been 2 years since the release of GTA on current gen which should've been enough time for players to decide whether they want to transfer their characters or not.

 

Announcing a deadline for transferring is long overdue imo.

Some people might be poor AF and can't afford a PS4/XB1, or they might have other priorities besides gaming to get done.

Poor AF but can afford internet, PS3 and a copy of GTA V. Nice logic there buddy lmao.

Allow me to give a great definition of a "try hard".

 

Try hard: A player who is normally on a modded account with tons of money and dressed like a clown (face paint with skull tattoo, black or red contact lenses, skinny jeans, white dread locks, and other ridiculous sh*t) and constantly kills themselves with a sticky bomb/RPG to avoid being killed by other players to protect their meaningless K/D ratio. Most often seen strafing side to side with a sniper rifle looking like a dumbass. Kill everyone and everything that moves with no fear of repercussions due to large amounts of cash. Alao known as the cancer of GTA Online.

 

you left out the part where they now abuse the living sh*t out of becoming a CEO.

 

mostly so they can spam Ghost Organization while chaining it with Lester's Off The Radar. you hardly see that sh*t used for CEO work anymore, now it's just a bunch of nerdy mouth breathers hiding their player markers for ridiculous amounts of time so they can rack up easy kills on players who probably aren't even paying any attention to them in the first place.

 

accompany this with spamming Bullshark Testoserone and that cheesy First Person Marksman Rifle garbage that you see way too much of in freeroam now'adays.

 

now add the fact that most people who play like this are the same people who care way too much about "M-muh K/D" and will kill themselves the very second you land a shot on them, or when they think they're at a disadvantage, and you've got yourself a more detailed and up-to-date definition of "the cancer of GTA online."

i did once drop someone's 100+ K/D down to like, 40, back on last gen.

 

and then saw another case where someone with a K/D of around 70 got their sh*t taken down to like, 1.00 within half an hour.

not that he was rank 8000 in the crew, but he was like...ranked higher than literally everybody else, within just a couple days of being in the crew. didn't take long for us to have him kicked out though lol. not sure what that'd even accomplish to be honest.

yes, some modded accounts don't come with modded KDs, but usually a modded K/D of 3 will mean that a certain player as 300 million kills and 100 million deaths, specially if it's a decent modder. It is highly unlikely that those stats will change over the course of the next years. If you look at the stats of members of FEAR/MLTA/ANOY and other competitive crews, most of them have a K/D of 6.67 (667 million kills/ 100 million deaths), this allows them to play as many RnG deathmatches as they want while maintaining that K/D.

I play on ps4 I don't know anything about PC mods and how they stick, I was talking about transferring to ps4 and working in that system.

 

the account was transferred to ps4 first and then to pc. faster runs is there on both platforms.

 

Yea on one of my accounts I have fast run too, but only on the main/modded character.A

 

And to top post, you can get a PS3 and last gen copy of GTA V for under 80 dollars, and Internet isn't even that expensive if you get a bare bones deal.

With next gen you have to pay to play online, pay for the game and pay for the console which can be close to $500 dollars.

Playstation 4 1TB + Star Wars Battlefront 219 EURO in a local store

But GTA V is still expensive for a two year old game with 40-50 EURO. Sometimes you can get it for 30 EURO.

What really happened was: a few people have issues transferring their accounts, they posted their bitching online in threads like this, then others start posting complete speculative bullsh*t, then youtubers start talking about it, sh*t gets retweeted and all of sudden "OMG ALL MODDED ACCOUNT TRANSFERS ARE BANNED!"

Nop. Cheated accounts are getting blocked. Met this dude who has 3,617,236,025,201,131,389$ on 360, he was not allowed to transfer, contacted support, they've removed ALL his cash and then he was allowed to transfer. Cheated accounts AREN'T getting through anymore.

And yeah, legit accounts are still being transferred but you have to contact RSG Support to do so at this current moment in time. I believe the 1.36 update will do whatever's necessary to allow things to be automated, but now it's a manual review process.

The xbox's are instore only. Ps4s you would find online easy though. I'm surprised the xbox didnt sell out. Been sitting at my local branch for 2 months at that price. Includes a controller and tomb raider too.
