You can't transfer modded account(s) anymore?

Support section in Se7ensins saying after a phone call with R*, that they are stopping transfers for 30 days pending a revamp of the transfer system.

Not sure how credible the source is.

I guess that gets around giving 30 days notice of any change, simply break it on purpose. That is typical rockstar. My only hope out of this is that they revamp lsc to at least give it the same capability as a text menu a lone 16 year old coded.

Now, this is to prove two points. 1, level, unless ridiculous, is nothing. 2, there really isn't much in the way of telling who is legitimate or not.

 

One way I tell? What their crew is; MCs are NOTORIOUS for being the primary reason modded accounts exist. They want to run a biker gang, but they can't play the he long enough to earn anything. They just start off with all the perks they want. Now, it isn't as bad on current systems as opposed to last gen, but it's pretty annoying when you know these chodes would be coming at you with pistols, but instead get to bust out literally anything you want.

 

And the next person who tries to say "money doesn't matter" is gonna get all their loaves of bread buttered and left on the counter. Cause that's a HUGE factor. Think, you gonna get into a fight with someone. You have, say, 3 mill. A fight costs around 100 to 300 grand if you bust out all the things you can. Ghost, explosives, bribes. Now, the other person did the same, but had 3 bill.

People get mad at griefers then do the same damn thing, only difference is the griefer has the funds (and if they paid for the modded cash then they probably paid 3 cents for a 300k war) and you spent a solid week grinding or 5 dollars to have that lame war.

You are bragging about cheating. We get it, you bought an account for $5 with a trillions of in game money. When Rockstar comes around and bans your account, guess who's still going to have his account? Yeah me.

Im laughing at all the modder police, who dont even know whats a mod and whats just a stupid glitch. I got 3 pages in before I had to just give up and post something....

 

As for the level stuff. I see super high levels all teh time. Im level 341 or something now, but Ive got like 100 days of game play and some of these guys have less than a week!! You can always tell though, because when you go at em, they usually suck pretty bad. I dont see a lot of other kinds of mods anymore though. Havent seen invisible cars in a while. As for money, I couldnt begin to care how much the next guy has. I have my fair share and get to enjoy my game nicely. It has no bearing whatever what the next guy has, because it has 0 effect on me anyway.

 

I think most of you need to reexamine your priorities, in both worlds. Its a game and its a game about stealing and killing, is how someone got some money or level really that important? Do you really care? Is your life so empty, that what happens in a fake one is this important?

 

Lets hope the next step they do is ban the remaining modded accounts that are currently on next gen servers.

 

It would be nice to have a clean sweep on all servers before the next big DLC drops. Something tells me that is Rockstar's plan. Blocking modded accounts from being transferred is the first step.

They cant ban your character. All they can do is take away whatever you may have gotten illegitimately. Perhaps put you in the dirty player lobbies for an extended period, but outright ban? Hardly. For one thing, they would have to verify that YOU in fact modded your account. If you were say dropped money or your car was modified by a random in a random server, then you are at no actual fault. This has already happened years ago and this was the result. So you can probably save your glee at others expense.

Whats really funny to me, is that you have no idea why these people are having trouble. All you armchair detectives assuming stuff and making asses of yourselves. And to make matters worse, you basically just throw every person with the issue under the bus cheater, because you just know they are. Some of you seem like real butthurt losers, whining on about how you hate em. But you only hate em because A, Your to bitc* to do it yourself, B. To scared you will get caught C. I hope they remove the finale repeat glitch and not allow you to go in your garage anymore. Better yet nerf it so it gives 200K for doing it not 400k.

Why would you wish for that? Getting everyone into an Armored Kuruma for a clean getaway is a much better and safer alternative to getting easily shot at by cops in underpowered bikes.

There's always glitches around for the cloths to go invisible. It happens when something doesn't fit with something else or when you changed from a male to female without changing the cloths etc. Not sure what the current going glitch is but its always because the cloths are stuffed up in general.

I like winning $150,000 while betting in races when modded accounts bet $10k on everyone. lol

My only problem with modded accounts is the fact is shows how incompetent Rockstar's system is. There are obvious and multiple ways to filter out, catch, and remove the modded accounts and yet nothing is done. After the absolute clusterf*ck that was GTAO's launch, when they launched the Next-gen versions we should have seen a refined anti-cheat system. And yet, nothing.

Jesus christ. It's absolutely ridiculous and it just makes me shake my head.

Blizzard has the right idea with Overwatch btw.

that would never happen, the legitimacy of the players is tainted forever, they can sweep the modded accounts out of the game and people would still see all high rank players as people that survived the banwave.

1. You're joking right? Rockstar owns this game and can do whatever they want including ban the character... Hell if they even wanted to they can delete the character and as I said a few pages back if they really wanted to they could get you hit with a console ban by working with Sony/Microsoft because guess what? The modded accounts and anything else you do as far as cheating in a single game not only is against the terms you agree to when playing the game, but is also in violation of the eula/terms you agree to when using the consoles. They could also get your Steam account banned if that is where the cheating is happening.

No what's actually funny is your failure to read the updated Rockstar Support article on transferring accounts that has been posted here multiple times which confirms that you now have to submit a support ticket and if they feel necessary they can deny it, meaning pretty much no more of these dumb modded accounts can be transferred.

I don't see why people complain that much about modded accounts, they don't have A SINGLE advantage over other players. They used to be OP due to modded snacks/armor/ roll/double damage, etc; but now all they got is money and rank. And about spamming bombs, I don't see why only modded accounts would be able to do it, I got a legit account and I use as many explosives as I want to.

They don't have a single advantage aside from the floating head costume, all the rank-locked weapons and car upgrades, access to pretty much every vehicle in the game, and billions of dollars to blow on properties, ammo, and insurance costs immediately available the moment they log in for the first time...

 

That player has an almost insurmountable advantage over a LVL 35 scrub that's slowly working his way up the ranks legitimately.

you're right, i haven't

 

i usually tend to avoid dorky, marksman rifle toting crab-walkers. the "fast run" might just be them going into first person mode though. for some stupid reason, first person mode lets you strafe a lot faster than normal. going to higher ground and RPGing those types of people normally does them in pretty bad.
