Calling Mercenaries/Muggers On People

I mug everyday. Some dude blew up my car outside my hangar today so I messaged him. While he tried to talk back he got mugged for $5,000 and I ran out and shot him, grabbed the money, and took off in my starling.

Much like in Achievement Hunter, they always call the mugger on Gavin i always call a mugger on my friend, like always, every chance i get

You guys should try this and I do it all the time to mercs and randoms that chase me in their car....one of my favorite things in this game too....

 

You drive to the areas where there are gang members....I have them memorized and witness the gang members slaughter these mercs/players. The one down south has a bunch.

Try calling in the air strike just as the mugger is two steps away from victim and toss said flare on victim just before they are put down for a quick nap.

I joined a lobby and there was a dude on the mic who kept saying "You cant find me" over and over again, I have no idea who he was speaking to but he kept saying it for a bit, So I sent a mugger. I was at the airport so I could not see it, but he was mugged, Sent him a message saying "Someone found you lol" he seemed mad for a bit and then started laughing.

I do it just to distract someone. I dont expect them to kill em, but if they do..money well spent.

People usually don't call mercs on me, but I like running from them, they always show up at the most inopportune times

Hate being mugged though, I'm always on like f*cking Mt. Gordo when I get mugged, so I end up with no car and a mile to the nearest road

When I get a bounty on me I go into instant Purge mode. Relentless killing. The bounty always lures in easy prey

I used to send muggers to friends I knew stepped away for a bit, and then the rest of us would chase him down in an armored, bullet proof tired car. Our friend would steal a heli and we would just chase em around lol.

I was in a lobby with 3 other players. We were all CEOs. Maybe someone thought I needed a break from the grind. It didn't mess anything up for me, I had just walked out of Ammunation.

 

I think I'm going to start sending muggers for 5$ too. Then send the targeted player "Stay Frosty!"

Hmm, next time I'm in a heli and someone's trying to use the explosive sniper one me - maybe I could somehow lure them to one of these areas? Then they couldn't so much as raise their gun without being killed by gang members (hopefully losing ammo along the way).

 

That's something I've been trying to come up with lately - just finding ways of indirectly getting them killed, or knocking them down for me to kill - so that I can drain the ammo.So far the mugger's the most effective I've used, but that's just one death/4 bullets, and has a big cooldown. A lot of the other stuff just isn't immediate enough, but I figure there's got to be other things that'd work well.

Yes, it's a little trick I do and the most experienced even fall for it.

 

I just drive through these places without lifting a gun and the gangs will take care of it.

 

Mercs get slaughtered before even getting out of the car.

 

I haven't tried the police stations yet.

Don't do this much anymore... unless I'm trying to do something/go somewhere and some random keeps on my back, killing me over and over... even when I don't fight back.

Like kill me once, ok cool... I don't fight back and you kill me again? Ok maybe you weren't sure.. that's fine.
But once you've killed for like the 6th time and there is CLEARLY no retaliation.. yeah your ass is getting mugged, I'm setting a sticky bomb on you, blowing you up and killing the mugging for your cash.

Send a mugger on someone in a vehicle. He not only stabs them but takes off in their vehicle. lol Now sit back and laugh while they try to get their vehicle back from the mugger. lol

I think it might occasionally peck at people with the odd potshot, but it's pretty weak lol. It was there since the start, and you can tell - should be scaled up to match the rest of the game. They should send a Hunter or a Valkyrie that's really going full force. Now that would be a real backup chopper.

I just let the mercs kill me whenever somebody sets them on me. Just because I don't want the pleasure of giving them their money back

What I like to do is call mercenaries on victim, wait 30 seconds, then call a mugger on said victim. Basically the mercenaries will show up immediately as soon as the target is mugged.

I call muggers when people are in tanks, I have read they can steal the tank leaving the player stranded. I don't think it has worked for me yet though. 

 

I get mugged all the time though, usually fighting players on foot. This one made the mistake of telling me his intentions over the mic (rob and kill me).

That's true, it's the funniest way to get someone out of their tank imo.

 

I haven't mugged in a bit I still feel bad about my last mugging, victim was looking for a street car (Sultan or Phoenix I think) and my mugger took forever. The victim said he had just found his car then the mugger stole it and disappeared.

Never even saw the blip, I was miles away by then.

 

Seems the mugging got buggy along the way. They never show up when I'm close to the target anymore and the muggers blip disappears so fast, if it appears at al.

The secret to using a Mugger successfully and as an excellent revenge weapon.

• a player that has griefed you is finally out and about, on foot, fighting with other players.
• wait until you see that players name come up, "Player XYZ has been killed." 

• immediately call in for your mugger on that player, so when they respawn, the mugger will hit them before they have time to adjust.

• typically, the player is so preoccupied with the person they were fighting/killed by, they have no idea it's coming.

• you can also use this method on any random player.
• wait for the announcement that they've died and put the call in.

• hilarity ensues!
