Andromeda-J Posted September 4, 2016 Share Posted September 4, 2016 (edited) i can't even drive areas where those appear i keep sucking and dying and eventually not going there, they come like std's, they might be reappearing more if saving less in one certain file, just for some nice missions have distributed saves into 4 files and that made the frequency of events higher! lost-in-emotions Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 i have 4 savegames: › 86 % › 100% before "the last" › 100% after "the last" #2 › 100% after "the last" #1 - my main savegame when u will fast forward the 3 days, u must save a lot. but it seems that the last 4 random events will not spawn... Andromeda-J Posted September 5, 2016 Share Posted September 5, 2016 (edited) you make one mistake, you DO NOT HAVE TO SAVE to pass time, as soon as you hit the save button and save screen appears you cancel it and you still have passed hours that certain protagonist sleeps, take trevor, go to trailer for quicker getting up and just repeat sleep button and cancel cycle, days will pass without saving and you might save some seconds from not saving, only save after event, autosave off! Andromeda-J Posted September 6, 2016 Share Posted September 6, 2016 (edited) too much saving per gameplay and/or saving too much per file (you can delete other files to keep newest file, it's all to keep saving number per file low) i keep more of them after finishing because i find some missions for relaxing purpose vital to access any time i feel like! lost-in-emotions Posted September 9, 2016 Share Posted September 9, 2016 is that your opinion or does this R* say? after i slept some days, without saving, i played till now online as usual and get back. i spawned with franklin downtown in midnight. then i drove to border patrol ans they appeared! killed them all and made a quick save. now i am back in my home and 2 events are left. This is particularly true for the Security Vans, the Border Patrols, the Abandoned Vehicles, and some other event types. In the case the player has completed an event of a certain type, i.e. Security Vans, he will have to wait for 6-7 in-game days to pass before he can encounter more Security Vans. maybe this is why the last events not spawns. i only sleep 3 days! and i done a mistake befor: i thought one sleeping forwards 12h. buts its only 8h! so u need to sleep 3 times for one day! the more you know ... I THINK its caused of the Random Calls! This last 3 Jobs i done, when i get a Call from my Businesses. I ignored it and drove immediatly to the Spawning Locations. And really - it Worked!! (of course i had a sms from hookies in stand by). i drove the street to HL and then a ARMORED TRUCK spawns! wtf? i am having birthday and christmas at the same time?? Andromeda-J Posted October 25, 2016 Share Posted October 25, 2016 (edited) you see that rockstar is clearly more interested in online profits, there is ongoing bugs list which shows some bugs still existing after release! this proves they do not put any more time into fixing SP because it's bugs aren't online ones and obviously other proof is no SP DLC! additionally Rockstar team themselves is f*cked up for all the recent ignoring of SP fans and they don't care for their own mistakes! I don't know what to do, I sent in a support ticket to Rockstar and they gave me a list of hoops to jump through before telling me to delete my profile from my console and reinstall the game. (which didn't work) I hate getting 100% in Rockstar games because this glitch has been prevalent in every open world game they've created, since Bully. And I've run into it, every f*cking time. Andromeda-J Posted November 5, 2016 Share Posted November 5, 2016 (edited) then it's advised to create save with one simple activity unfinished for 100% (for example friend activity) and create new save after completing it. before making the other final save finish everything else in checklist then save once more with that one thing required for 100% still unfinished AND then after you finish it make new save, this way it's possible to switch into working checklist just by loading the other save. lost-in-emotions Posted November 9, 2016 Share Posted November 9, 2016 i think the random calls are the answer. everyone who have problems with events, check it out. the rate is nearly 100%, when a random call comes, that then somewhere a random event will spawn. even money trucks (when a week, since last event is over). i made the last days another remaining truck. as the call goes in, i drove to a nearly spawning location. and BOOM a blue blip! 5 calls = 5 random events = 100% Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am playing on a PS4, I noticed they stopped respawning after one of the characters (Franklin, Micheal, Trevor) was killed while they were together during a friendship bond (you know when you call them to go a bar, stripper joint, etc) anyways, during one of those trips the character was killed sent back to the hospital and then no more Random Events after that. I thought it was because I finished 100% of the game, so I started a new game. I just now got back up to 96.8% I need to do the last triathlon (which I HATE), 5 more knife flights (which I suck at but very slowly might be getting better), and one more stunt jump. I don't really need the Random Events, but they are a great distraction during game play. Also, I know i haven't done all 60 and it would be nice do all of them. I tried sleeping for a week (with Trevor), turning SLEEP mode off saving. then turning a back to NORMAL mode. closing the game and turning off the PS4 reopening the game. Still no Random Events spawning. I got bored and finished 100% of the rest of the game and played "The Last One" I suppose it probably doesn't matter, but it is a little annoying that Random Events are not spawning any more. jamrag2009 Posted February 1, 2017 Share Posted February 1, 2017 to not be killed the moment you try to kill the two bikers chasing you (buying/finding armor won't help, it will be shot with half health away in first chase), talking about "snatched" random event, it's IMPOSSIBLE, you done it, i wanna know how! BTW only way i see to resolve it myself is to use save editor to fill armour, it will make me invincible, armour added via save editor is never going down! EDIT: never mind, i went there with another protag with full normal armour and caught them before they drove off, killed driver first and then rest, used one video which showed where to drive to keep cover to kill rest of assholes, they started to hide behind my armour-tuned car but i got them through windows! i just did it with the duke o death, never even took a hit from them why u think they wont fix it? its simply clear thats a huge problem. and why it must solve it or go back, when R* had f*cked it up? because they only seem bothered about doing anything to GTAO now, they still havnt given us the 'further adventures with franklin trevor and michael' they promised us back in 2014 so dont hold out any hope. i had same issue so what i did was saved about 20 times to move time on then i went for snatched with trevor in the duke o death (as i knew it was occaisionally spawning) killed the guys in the van from inside my car then got out and rescued her (in duke o death) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lost-in-emotions Posted March 24, 2017 Share Posted March 24, 2017 nevermind, i even searched for this thread caused by the again working 100%. now i see my last objectives - 4x security vans. is it right that the day and time is equal? because i saw in the interweb, that there are only specific times + days, when they wil spawn. since weeks ago i give it a try to sleep 7 days with micheal, but no van spawns in paleto bay. so i broke this up, till now as it make sense again :-) so, any tipps for the vans?
