hey did anybody notice that you dont get money for crashing into other cars like in GTA3 ??? I always thought that was a good side affect for extra cash

Yep, that's cause money was useless. Now money is the backbone of VC. Kinda sux, but yep, its true.  :zZz:

Part true, part untrue. :/

 

In GTA3, when you did the 'Bomb da' Base' mission you required $100,000. That's a lot of money. You also have to buy guns for some missions.

 

But I agree in Vice City you need to use your money much more frequently than GTA3.

By the time i got to that mission, i had 300,000 at least, so i think it is 100% true that statement!

All I'm saying is that money was still a large requirement for GTA3 although the money part of VC has increased in importance several times.

That doesn't suck. Its one of the coolest parts of the game. You start a broke nobody and turn in to a rich ass mob boss. Its a great rise in power. Better than just doing random missions for a ton of cash you don't need. You start out with lowly 'get in the door' stuff' to really making big moves the the VC underworld later in the game. Awesome setup.
