I saw your character in the other thread and I'll tel you - you should definately make an entry, you have a pretty good character, and forget about poses, just do some female actions (taunts) .

Bonus shots aren't counted torwards judging anyways, so I'm personally not sure why some entrants included so many.

I think I added a couple of extra (knowing that only five would be considered), but I can remove the bonus ones if it helps the process. I sort of did my entry last minute and couldn't decide which ones to submit. Now that we have a few more hours, I can remove the additional ones when I am home later and make a couple of final edits before the official deadline.

What's most important to me, is the fact all the people that entered gave it their best (snap)shot. There are no half-assed attempts in here. Personally, I feel as if I already won a big trophy... Being the lazy basterd that I am, I finally dug in and learnt to use the editor. So from now on, whenever there's a competition wrt snapshots or vids, I can finally participate. Still got alot to learn (and I will), but the seed got planted by this competition... So that was what I gained from participating... And, I created (mostly for myself btw) a video for one of my favourite songs and it includes the two software persons that I have had so much fun with for the past 1.5 years...

I hope for the best for my girl, but I already won something (see above)...

We are only considering the first 5 pictures. If you have 6 or more images, image #6 and beyond won't be considered or looked at, so it's simply a wasted effort on the entrant's part. Only the 5 images we have seen will be allowed to move on however, as the entries cannot change from the close of the competition until the winner is announced.

Same thing happened with me in Miss Los Santos 2015 Since then I've spent a ton of time taking character-based snapmatics which has kept me coming back to GTAO regularly. Also the quality of other people's pictures made me up my game quite sharpish... and while i'm not the best with a camera by a long shot, I can count on the community to keep me on my toes

Echoing Cray on this.

 

I start recording in the setting i've chosen, perform player actions, go into the editor, scrub till I find the exact moment I like, get my camera angle and snnnnnnap!

This is the best way since while the action may not do what you want for a photo, it can make your character stand a certain way, like at the end of No Way, your player will have her hand on her hip.

Born in England, Cassie was the unplanned outcome of a one night stand. Her father left soon after she was born, leaving her mother with a large alimony and a request that he never be contacted again.

Her mother, originally born in Los Santos, soon moved herself and Cassie back to her home City. Being raised in the most expensive part of Los Santos Cassie quickly became accustomed to a life of fine dining, fast cars and luxurious holidays.

After it was found that she had a natural flair and talent for cooking she started training with some of the top chefs in the City. With this new wealth of knowledge and skills, Cassie soon became one of the most well-known chefs in Los Santos. At the age of 18 she opened her first restaurant, Nutsaki, located in the bustling heart of Del Perro.

It was at this point that she met her first love, Michael. They were engaged 2 months after meeting and eventually married at Hill Valley Church amongst family, friends and many of the Elite of Los Santos.

It was soon apparent that the man she'd met before the wedding had all been a lie. Michael was in fact a violent drunk with a habit of lashing out at her when angry. Young and still madly in love Cassie couldn’t find the strength to leave him.

It wasn’t until he tried to strangle to death after a night of heavy drinking, that she fought back. Luckily she managed to grab the kitchen knife off of the counter and stabbed him once in the chest. He died before the ambulance could get there. When the police arrived she remained calm and promptly handed herself in.

It was at this point that Cassie vowed that she would never let herself or any other women be hurt by a man again. The next few years were spent training and pushing her body to its limits. With money came the ability to hire some of the best trainers in the world. It quickly became apparent that she was a master of the machete, most probably due to her previous kitchen experience.

Her second kill was a quicker and more purposeful affair. His name was Jason, a scumbag husband who had been heard threatening to kill his wife and kids. She flirted with him at a club, tempted him outside and then slit his throat. With no witnesses and many assuming that it was a simple mugging gone wrong Cassie was never caught.

It wasn’t long before she became a well-known name on the street, adopting the alias “Black Widow.” Her rules were that she would never kill women and children, only men who were abusive and violent. The large amount of money that she earned from her day job at the restaurant meant that she could do it for free, making her an indispensable asset for women in need.

She currently resides in a Penthouse Suite in Eclipse Towers with her soon to be wife, Claire (who she met through her night job.) If she wins Miss Los Santos she plans to spend the prize money on opening up up her second restaurant and continuing to defend women in need.
