Sandman3769
I ranked up a brand new second character from Rank 0 to rank 100 in just 5 days, and it was very easy. I was at rank 10 within an hour. Rank 30 by the end of the first day. Rank 50 by the end of the second day, 70 by the 3rd, 85 by the 4th, and 100 at the end of the 5th day. This won't work for a first character because you need a considerable amount of money to do it. I did it all with crate sales. You need an office, any will do. And you need 5 warehouses, the size of the warehouses does not matter. You will also need a buzzard to do these missions quickly. You will have to rent the buzzard until rank 42, which should be in the middle of the second day. It costs $25K every time you rent it, so you are forced to learn to land gently and avoid hitting things and getting hit by bullets. You do not lose the buzzard at the end of the mission. You only lose it if you destroy it, and also when you turn the game off. Then you will need enough to buy the buzzard when you reach the rank, or continue renting it. The buy missions give you RP, but not nearly as much as the sell missions, which give you 5000 RP per sale. You want to do as much selling as possible, which is why you need 5 warehouses. After each sale, the warehouse you sold from has a 1/2 hour cool down, so you need to be able to go from warehouse to warehouse. I always went in a clockwise direction, so I didn't have to waste time figuring out how long it has been on each warehouse. If you do it haphazardly, you will waste time going to warehouses that are still in the cool down period. Once in while you will even do all 5 warehouses so quickly that you will still be in the cool down period by the time you get back to the first one, but when that happens, it is only a minute or two. So here is the formula: -Buy 3 crates, and immediately sell one right from the warehouse where you just dropped them off. (ONLY SELL ONE. From what I could tell, there is no RP difference between selling 1 crate or 3) -Now do the same thing at the other 4 warehouses. (Buy 3, sell 1) -You are left with 2 crates at each warehouse. -In the same exact order (I chose clockwise), sell one crate from each warehouse. -That leaves you with 1 crate in each warehouse. -In the same exact order, again, sell one crate from each warehouse. -Then start the whole process over again. Buy 3, sell 1. It's that simple. I'm always lagging out, so it was easy for me to find empty lobbies to do this. Full lobby sales are more fun, but also more time consuming. When you only sell 1 crate, the plane sales only have 3 drop zones. Very easy. Also, it takes more RP to rank up, the higher you go. At first, you actually rank up two ranks for 1 sale, then as you get higher, 1 rank per sale. Then a half rank per sale. By the time you get to the 80s or 90s, it takes 4 or 5 sales to go up 1 rank. I'm not sure if associates get the same RP as the CEO, but if they do, you might want to enlist some other people that want to do the same thing. The thing that slowed me down most, was the buy missions where you have to bring all 3 crates separately. StangOne50
5 days is fast. Last month I ranked up a new account to 135, took me 14 days but within that time I also completed all 5 elite challenges and cmm and on ps3 no crates. After doing this, I do feel like I know every sell mission like the back of my hand now. One thing I did discover is that it is fun doing sell missions in full lobbies with only 1 crate on the line. If someone stops you, they think they are ruining your whole day, meanwhile you are just thinking "Meh, no biggie, it's just one crate." derek0514
I like that strategy but wb difficult execute in populated lobby but wb interesting if creating second character at this time. I created my second character several months ago, a girl. She is pushing rank 80, primary character pushing rank 252. He has a yacht and crate biz plus buzzard and tank. Both have 5 diverse properties, spread out at what I consider key locations. I am considering purchasing her a buzzard. I like to keep a couple mill of community cash in reserve in for DLC's. All money self earned, no shark cards. Not a collector of supers - 2 will do. I did buy several racing jackets lol. I wish they had a gold coin on gold necklace - big one like AGE, AGB, $20 Saint, or $20 Lib. Edited August 10, 2016 by derek0514

I was thinking about starting a thread about it. I have a fast modem and use an Ethernet cable. Xbox says I'm running 160-180 Mbps with zero packet loss, so I don't know what the problem is. The usual fix is to hard reboot my xbox, but even that only lasts an hour or 2. During this rank up session, I barely ever rebooted the Xbox, which made it a lot easier. MechanicMammal
Yeah I leveled my 2nd char in no time not in 5 days but pretty quick anyway, Borrowed 10 million from my first char to make it easier and as soon as she was level 12 I did CMM with her to pay her loan back that got me to level 30 ish. Then just did a mixture of CEO stuff and heists to get her to 100 in about 2 weeks. I definitely noticed the CEO work rewarded great rp even doing it casually without a plan to maximize rp. Sandman3769
I started using this method on my first character as well. It is slower, because my first character is already a higher level, but it is still the quickest legit way to rank up a character.
jackrobot
I'm a bit confused here. How do I "Rent the Buzzard". I started a new char yesterday & wanted to try this method but I have no option to rent yet. I'm almost at level 18. What am I missing?

There are three ways to get a buzzard, and I'm away on vacation, so I can't check which one it is right now that lets you rent it when you don't own it. Only one of them lets you do that. There is: The Securoserv CEO menu, under CEO vehicles There is the Pegasus Concierge menu that you get from your executive assistant And there is the "Leave via Vehicle" choice when you get to the elevator in your office. At least one of those menus will give you the option of a Buzzard at $25,000 I'm pretty sure it is the Pegasus Concierge, but I'm not 100% sure. Sandman3769
Got like 2 mil RP in 17 days. Only ranked me up 27 times. This was a few months back If you got 2 million RP and only ranked up 27 times, that would put your character at level at around 900+. I'm just wondering, at that point, why bother grinding to rank up?
