I've never really been on the Sultan bandwagon, whereas the Buccaneer is based on my favorite muscle car of all time, the '65 Riviera. Even before Benny's it was one of my favorite cars in the game, and Benny did nothing but improve it in my opinion.

I think it would have been better if cars like the Sultan had their own tuning shop. Never seemed like a good fit after all the lowriders, it wouldn't warrant a downvote for me personally but I certainly see your point.

I'm in a bit of a pickle now. I've been downvoting the Sultan in favour of the Banshee, but of the three remaining cars the 'stock' Sultan's my favourite .(For driving at least)

I may remove myself from further voting because the Buccaneer looks amazing 'stock' and the Voodoo's not far off. Choices , Choices.

Indeed. A separate performance shop and/or a more balanced approach to Benny's (ie a stronger focus on performance cars/upgrades) would justify a Sultan poster-boy. The Lamar missions are another factor that solidified the lowrider theme for me.

 

I have nothing against the Sultan though. I own it, drive it, still race it from time to time. It's a solid car. Just a bit of a unicorn.
