I'd say buy at least a few X80's just in case they do wipe ALL your $. That way, you have a few bonds to help get ya back.

They won't remove your money. It's only affecting the people doing it.

 

Back in the billionaire days, some players had no other choice BUT to accept the money. If you're switching characters back and forth, intentionally, that's your fault.

 

But R* can't track that, therefore it's not a dupe glitch or mod, it's purely Rockstars f*ck up.

R* maybe doesn't track the money received from switching characters because that's not supposed to happen. But they do track legit money recieved and money spend. Hell that's even a feature of social club.

No it doesn't, but what's to stop you buying the cheapest office, without upgrades, switching characters all day and then buying back what you want later?

 

I'm personally not going to do this as it's cheating and I think you should all be ashamed of yourselves. It's people like you lot that ruin the fun for us actual real gamers.

If you're 2nd character already has the upgrades on his office just switch to a new office and don't buy any upgrades. It'll cost you a million or 2 but you'll make that back in minutes.

 

Assuming you're main character has full upgrades on his office you'll now get the full $825k

Swapping characters isn't against TOS. They done f*cked up. But taking it to extremes might bite you on the ass. As ever, it's on you.

 

Curious timing given the network issues this time yesterday.

 

Bet this gets fixed roughly infinite-million-years before they start weeding out the invisible level 8000s.
