So Prop snapping and the extruded road works for normal race too?

Using any of the new props turns your race into a Stunt Race.

Yeah, at least you can edit your previous existing races and add the new props.

Even tho it changes to "stunt race".

A shame that we can't remove light posts etc tho >< dammit R*

Damn it, I edited the Nurburgring before I read the replies

Apparently it has turned into a stunt track lol

edit:

I have updated one of my tracks - Suzuka Circuit, guys please try it out, its really hard to make those snap props listen to you lol

Platform: PS4

Game Mode: Stunt Race (Caused by the stunt props)

Players: 1-30

Link: https://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/ps4/jobs?ownertype=member&nickname=Mr_Grandis&missionId=J70Mb_lBokGbv2ZHhr0awQ

Just tried out your race and I've gotta say you've done very well. Even though the straight is longer and the rest of the track is more bunched up together, I give this track a 9/10 :)

I have made a shorter version for you :D

I am still not too keen on the hover track but thats the closest it can get using the streets :)

Just tested it now and It's sp much better. Only complaint is the pitstop. You go in there but you still need to respawn due to the checkpoint being on the main road.

Minutes ago i had make my own topic about this. Didnt see this one.

I have make some tracks:

Oh come on.. It was literally one of the first thread in the content creator section..

About any thread, take just a minute to search and look around before posting a new topic.

Also, tubes ?

Edit : After watching the videos,

This is a good start but that's not really what we mean by "real life tracks"... read my first post.

Some great tracks posted on here so far!

Anyway I'm new on here so hi everyone :-)

Not new to GTAO though being a day 1 player

Just thought I would let you all know that I am currently working on a recreation of Snetterton. The layout is sorted just working on the scenery, I'll post of link when finished (PS4)

Oh man I wanted to do that one next !

Go ahead, I'll do Queensland ;)

Here it is my attempt at Snetterton. It's not perfect I would have liked to have added more scenery but for the prop limit! Plus the start grid is more forward than I would have liked but that is down to the trigger proximity.

But all all things considered it's not bad? Your thoughts?

Cheers, Mythaga

I could see someone using Mt.Chiliad for the downhilll drifts...

Also what's the old Top Gear Track?

The Chiliad is too bumpy and is too narrow and there are only few coreners to do anything.

The old Top Gear track is the one before Chris "I touched few women and I cannot be funny at all" Evans made this sh*tty off road section with "water splash"

I was thinking of someone using the new props and turns going downhill sorta like the Stunt:Chiliad race but a Downhill Drift version

I spent a couple hours throwing one together, it's damn near impossible to place a proper trigger up on Chiliad. Might remake a better one later if I can figure out how to make legit switchbacks. The 150 prop limit held me back.

Quite a few plays already.

Hey everyone, I've played some of the races here, they are all pretty great, I especially like Albert Park.

I have made an attempt at the Surfers Paradise circuit in Australia. I forgot to add a pit stop and I also realized maybe I shouldn't have put barriers on the chicanes. It might not be 100% accurate but either way it serves as a decent race track. Here is is: http://rsg.ms/cf99ed0

Tsukuba Circuit is finally done !
Took me well over 16 hours to build, 8 to figure out the track itself and another 8 for the scenery.

It's not 100% accurate, or the road pieces doesn't always fit perfectly (due the slight elevation changes), therefore this isn't really up to my standards XD lol but that's probably as accurate as it will get... so there we go :)

Download from Social Club - PS4

At least you can see what it looks like from the inside :)

BTW when you quote somebody, can you remove the pictures or videos from the posts you are responding to ?
(so the thread doesn't get too heavy unnecessarily ^^)

Damn, I would really love to play this track on PC!

Adding a pit stop would make it even better.

If i have time this weekend I will move the pitstop entrance to somewhere else, I have a few race and all of them I saw people went straight to the pit lol

I could work on a pitstop, but I would need to recycle 3 props to make it (I used all 150 of them), and considering it's not useful in any way, that's why I didn't do it in the first place. Tho it's always cool to have one :)

Made some subtle changes to my Snetterton track added a bit more scenary so it doesn't look as bare. Still wanted to add more but for the prop limit. New link below:

I made the Top Gear test track: http://rsg.ms/1034d91 (PS4)
It's the same length as the real one (within 50 feet). I had to fudge the beginning angles of Chicago and Bentley, but it's a smooth, flat course.
Works on morning, noon, or night, and good for all vehicles. My fastest solo lap so far is 56.896 in a custom RE-7B. My best 4-lap time so far is 3:54.032.
If you want clean laps, leave it set to non-contact. But you can change that if you'd rather try to bash your way to the front. :)
Set over Del Perro Beach, with the carnival rides at the start/finish end.
Enjoy! If you like it, bookmark and improve your lap times. Thanks!

That scenery makes the track for me. How did you make the audience seating (lack of better vocabulary) at the finiah line? Looks soooo good.

Thanks !

It's called bleachers I believe ?

It's a 30° turn, from the raised tracks, placed sideway (black and white but you can choose whatever color you want) + on top is a... one of the "drops" (I have no idea what it's called in english) placed backwards.

There is plenty of props here used sideways, upside down etc ^^

That's what I mean when I say "creative use of certain props / objects" to fill certain gaps or to do things that would normally be impossible... or that would require many more objects !

Don't forget that you can use any part of any objects, in any direction. So pay attention to how the object is.. t can be handy :)

I'm about to see a La Sarthe circuit here. I tried to do one 2 times, but due to circuit's lenght, I couldn't match up 2 points at end: while one was going to south, the other was poiting to north. This R* editor made it really hard, seriously. They could've let us make a hand-free map, which consumes a lot less memory and give us much better results.
