...if you create a race tailored to only a certain brand of vehicles but explicitely state the nature of the race in description?

 

For example, i'd love to create a race that gives advantages for underrated supercars, like Vacca, Bullet, Cheetah etc. but doesn't exclude other types of vehicles to pass.

 

What would be considered fair in race design?

If you explain in the description then it's definitely not cheating. If you call it $999,999,999,999 AND MEGA BILLION RPS!!! and then use your knowledge to your advantage then yes, it is.

I'd like to see a race that gives an advantage to Vacca or Bullet... How would you do that?

 

Voltic can compete on tracks with lots of turns where it can use the acceleration (esp. with customs disabled) but those other ones?

 

Also I don't think it's cheating. That's what the description is for.

Definitely not cheating, you may get some downvotes at the end of the race from the people who were too stupid to read the description however, love the GTA playerbase. /s

Im not sure what you mean 'cheating'?

 

 

In most cases shorter tracks with short straights and more turns always favors certain vehicles.. Just like tracks with longer straights favors others.

 

 

You don't even have to give a reason... or a description. I mean if you want to say "Short track with tight turns" then i guess thats a heads up for people to pick certain vehicles. But its not really needed. No one would really be angry..nor should they have right to be.

The top speed is constant for every vehicle. By making a jump that exactly match the speed of a slower supercar (place the checkpoint at landing site, overshooting supercar lands in off or lands behind the landing zone and has to drive 3/4 to get to this checkpoint, so it's fair) or be brutal and make faster supercar crash in a wall near landing zone.

 

I have seen Chinese "trap races" for muscle cars, where the host used his lowrider hydraulics to climb over a obstacle, where a faster muscle car without hydraulics or knowledge ultimately failed.

Not cheating. Especially if there is a warning in the description. I've made several races that favor off-roaders with high ground clearance. Tracks with sections of fairly deep water where lower faster vehicles (Sanchez & BF Injection) cannot make it through.

 

Of coarse some people don't read descriptions, pick the wrong vehicle and end up leaving, dnf-ing, and/or down voting the race. Their fault.
