darthYENIK
What the f*ck? 55% for Home Alone? Critics suck. I might trust two movie critics, and both sometimes pan movies that become classics every now and then. The only critic you can trust, is yourself. otachi
Also BAD BOYS 2,i seriously don't get the hate, the movie was really entertaining and really funny,i laughed every time even the reggie scene,it was very violent with one of the best action scenes in 2000s,and the villain wasn't bad, anyone remember the joseph scene??. that was brutal. But the movie definitely wasn't groundbreaking or anything, but it was still one of the best buddy cop movies ever mad along with bad boys 1 and lethal weapon 1 and rush hour. Edit:i forgot that i did mention bad boys 2 hahaha. Edited August 4, 2016 by otachi Lonely-Martin

I wouldn't say people "hated" those movies but they aren't that popular. Lonely-Martin and Skeever

Voodoo
Almost everyone hated House of 1000 Corpses calling it a pretentious over-stylized Texas Chainsaw Massacre rip-off but I love it. I love the theme, sets, characters, score and the cast. You've got the legendary Sid Haig and Karen Black, Sheri Moon who is just the right kind of scary-hot-crazy, Rainn Wilson, Walton Goggins and a fat, coked out Chris Hardwick. I've probably seen it at least 20 times and it never gets old. Lonely-Martin, Skeever, Mister Pink and 3 others

LincolnClay
A recent one...suicide squad. Best movie of the year for me. Not that I watch a lot of movies anyway though. I don't get why it is hated. It had flaws, but it doesn't deserve the hate that would make sense for some other certain movies that came out this year (looking at you, Ghostbusters). Claude4Catalina
I can't speak for the majority on this one, but I really rated Black Mass, but speaking to friends about it, nobody seemed to like it. The inevitable Goodfellas comparisons come in thick and heavy, and I wouldn't go as far to say its a perfect film, could've been longer to give a bit more background to the previous Irish-on-Irish infighting in Boston that helped lead up to Bulger's rise to power, but as a piece of entertainment I thought it was great. aliceg94
S. Darko. Everyone hated it. I think most of the hate came from it being a sequel to Donnie Darko though. I try not to think of it like that. I think it's a great movie on its own. Edited August 30, 2016 by aliceg94 Mister Pink

iBUCKEYE
All Iron Man movies. Also Vacation (2015) and Transformers (2007). The Iron Man movies are kinda weird in that Iron Man 1 is loved, Iron Man 2 is hated, and Iron Man 3 seems to be split. I like em all, but I feel like 2 gets mistaken for a bad movie. Its poor compared to the better MCU movies, but its a decent action movie by itself.
Algonquin Assassin
Also Vacation (2015) Same. I guess like with most remakes people just square them up with the originals ignoring the merits the remakes bring in their own regard. The original Vacation is a classic no doubt, but I really enjoyed the new one and would watch it again. My favourite part was the rat on the guy's shoulder and he didn't even see it lol. Is it a great movie? Probably not, but definitely worth a watch a few times IMO. The Time Ranger, Lonely-Martin and Payne Killer
Vik
I like em all, but I feel like 2 gets mistaken for a bad movie. Its poor compared to the better MCU movies, but its a decent action movie by itself. It's an OK, but extremely flawed movie. The biggest issues with Iron Man 2 is its pace, lack of villain expansion, plot holes, bit of filler, and large plate to cover for 2 hour timeframe. Often times I would watch Iron Man 2 and say "What? Why would they put that type of content in it when X would be more effective?". Scenes like when Hammer helps Rhodey to equip the Mark 2 suit with weaponry was useless, rather they could have spent more time Ivan or whatever his name was. Same goes for the scene where Ivan has a meal with Hammer. They could have developed a much better arc without Ivan himself. Also what was with the whole Tony dying to his arc becoming less effective arc? That was totally useless. The best superhero movies gives the same amount of attention to the antagonist as they do to the protagonist. Then they had to set up SHIELD for The Avengers, which brought its own arc. Pretty sure Jon Favreau had less creative control as the result of this, as it shows that if he DOES get control, the movies he can make are great (Chef, Jungle Book, etc). Can't deny the action scenes were fun as hell though, but it was just a passable film compared to the first Iron Man. Don't understand the argument (if its presented) that it's supposed to be a popcorn/fun movie (ala Suicide Squad or Fast 7). I don't go to the movie theater to watch something mindlessly, I enjoy understanding the characters' motives and how that can impact the narrative.
