About time...I started this Save on the 3rd of October so it's been 23 Days to get it done which is way too long as it should of only took 10 Days tops...

 

Make note that I found a new Method to obtain the EC/Lustered Feltzer from "Blog This..." However, it's very unreliable and hit or miss. You can just drive to Gracie's House and after dropping off Gracie and Tony, just ram the Feltzer with the Schafter and eventually the Schafter will drive "underneath" the Feltzer. Then you can reverse, go forward, reverse, go forward accordingly until you get the Feltzer out into the street. It doesn't always work and you must be lucky. Furthermore, it damages both the Schafter and Feltzer a lot, but surely works. Although, when I obtained it, I did in fact use the Maverick Method of using the Rotors to make it go flying into the air out of Gracie's Driveway and then used a random Vehicle to push it back to the Lost MC Clubhouse Parking Spaces.

 

Some of the Lusters are sort of hard to see depending on the Weather and the Time of Day in-game I took the Photos, but they are all special and confirmed for sure.

 

All Stats have been done better this time around. Although, the Total Playing Time is only beaten by less than 30 Minutes...

 

TBoGT 2nd Save File Special Vehicles:

I'll start later today, or tomorrow morning. All I gotta do is save the game in another Slot and then obtain these 16 Special Vehicles on Replays and discard the other 16 Special Vehicles I already have for my 1st Save File. So unlike the 1st Save File taking 23 Days to finish, this 2nd Save should only take 2-3 Days tops since I don't need to do ANYTHING other than use Replays to obtain these 16 Special Vehicles. So Photos of the 2nd Save should be up in a few days from now and then in the first week of November, I can go back to GTA IV and continue working on and finishing my Starter Save...

Something I want to add for the Slamvan that you got and you told me the Carcols for it... Yours is:

Your Slamvan is EC in terms of being both Black Body Color with Grey Rims...

The Black Body Color is only found on Slamvans with Red Rims (not EC). The Luster (10) and Rims (3 - Color 4) are the same as to another (Blaze Red Body Color) Traffic Slamvan. This really needs to be checked...

Unique Slamvan with EC Rims? Unique/EC/Lustered Slamvan? Unique/Lustered Slamvan with Changable EC Rims? This Slamvan seems fishy...

Yeah, there is many Bikes and Slamvans present during the entire Railshooter Sequence as well as the 2 Bikes (the newly discovered Zombie and another) toward the end of the Railshooter Sequence on the Bridge. Possibly more things can be obtained from this Mission by breaking away from the Stretch E at the right moments, but it's difficult to do it...

Of course...It has the 8 one time only Special Vehicles, Unique Vehicles, and difficult EC/Lustered Vehicles. In fact, there is only 2 difficult Special Vehicles to obtain in my 2nd Save. Lustered Cavalcade FXT from Practice Swing and the EC/Lustered Vincent from Ladies' Night. The other 14 are simple...

IF I knew what this guy was saying, then I could break away from the Stretch E at ANY GIVEN MOMENT during the Railshooter Sequence and check on the other Bikes and Slamvans to see if they are special and different in any way, shape, or form...

 

EDIT: I just obtained the only two difficult Special Vehicles for my 2nd Save File; Lustered Cavalcade FXT and EC/Lustered (?) Vincent. Here are the Carcols. @SpriteFan274, let me know if they are special or not:

The Vincent from Ladies' Night is just strange. Ok, so it's special...Awesome! However, I am not sure if the Rims are EC or just traffic defaults and the Black Poly Luster I am not sure if it changes. It's sort of a tricky Special Vehicle to get and all the times attempting it and seeing it leave the Car Park and drive into the street, it always looked THE SAME to me. I am gonna call this an EC White Vincent for now and NOT EC/Lustered. I don't think the Luster changes, thus no point to call it Lustered and just keep it EC.

 

Until you obtain it once or twice and check the Lusters, I will just say EC Vincent. IF in fact it IS randomly Lustered, though, I wonder what Lusters can be found on it and very visible? Every time I saw it, it just looked like a SOLID WHITE COLORED Vincent. Nothing else stood out to me and never looked to have a Luster...

 

Anyways, all I need is the EC Buffalo, EC Buffalo, EC Buffalo, EC/Lustered Zombie, Lustered Landstalker, EC Oracle, and Lustered Oracle. Photos should be up Monday. I won't play much more today and probably not at all tomorrow, so on Monday I will get these easy remaining 7 and finish the Save. Can't wait to be done and put EfLC back in the box and move to IV...

I didn't exactly want the Unique Caddy as I already have the better, superior, more difficult Caddy...Rocco's Caged Caddy, however, months later apparently I...The only one to care about Special Vehicles and obtaining them all, has came to the conclusion that the EC Black and Lustered Zombie from Frosting on the Cake is completely unobtainable on PS3. Watch cutscene? Disappears. Not behind me. Skip cutscene? Disappears. Not behind me. In other words, the Zombie isn't riding behind the Stretch E at any given time once the cutscene takes place. I've seen the Annihilator carcass on the Bridge, yet, no Zombie. The Hellfury is there and close by me, but not the Zombie. Hellfury isn't special, though.

 

So f*ck you PC and X360 Exclusive trash once more...

 

Another issue I had was the EC F620. Thankfully, my OWN Method to obtain it has worked and I was able to get it, but doing what is written on the Web won't work for PS3. It can't be just me noticing trends, but for the 10 millionth time, PS2/3 is always more difficult and there is way more obstacles and annoyances to overcome. Anyone playing on the other Platforms practically is handed some of these Special Vehicles on a silver platter, while the guy playing on the other Platform has all these roadblocks and issues put in their way and STILL overcomes them all and finishes the Saves. What's your excuse?

 

So yeah, I now officially have ALL obtainable Special Vehicles in TBoGT other than the Unique Swift with Side Doors Open (I have the better one with Side Doors Closed already) and the unobtainable (for PS3) EC/Lustered Zombie. I don't care about Base Jump EC Sanchez or Base Jump EC Flatbed or any of the Vehicles from the Triathlons as they can be obtained any time. Sure, the Story Mission Special Vehicles can also be obtained any time after finishing the Story, but Story Vehicles, even with being obtainable on Replays are still more important to me than the Side Mission Special Vehicles just given to you...I also don't really care about the Drug War EC/Lustered Vehicles, either, but maybe one day I will have a 3rd Save with some of that stuff, but it's not important...

 

Anyone who wants the Lustered Cavalcade FXT or the EC Vincent...Good luck as they aren't very easy, especially the Cavalcade FXT...

 

EfLC is now back in the box and out of my PS3 and IV is now back in my PS3. After I do my IV Project(s), I am done with GTA and doing Saves for several months before I pick it back up and do some stuff for Mobile...

Mors got the EC/Lustered Vincent with a Black Poly Luster which is the Luster 1, and from Carcols you can see that half of the possible Colors of the Vincent in Traffic have a Black Poly Luster.

I will now make a Photo showing that the Rims are also EC for that EC/Lustered Vincent. And here they are...

Right one in the Photos is the EC/Lustered Vincent with EC Rims, left one is a normal Traffic Vincent. As you can see, the left (Traffic) Vincent has Whiter Rims.

The Luster along with the Color 4 are always changing... But thing is that the Color 4 is always 112, except for the Gang Zombie... Is this EC/Lustered Zombie a Lost Zombie? Is the Lost Zombie different in looks to the Civilian Zombie? Is there even a difference between Gang and Civilian Zombies? Hm...

If so... Can it be possible that the Zombie gets the 35 Rims and Luster 4?

The Rims are only EC Black. Also, note how there's a "syntax error" in the Carcols for the Cavalcade2 itself. One set of Colors has 2 Colors, while the next one has 4 Colors. I don't think that the extra and missing Space Bars make any difference.

EC Base Jumping Sanchez is also Lustered btw.

Interestingly, this EC F620 uses the same Color Scheme as the EC Dark Red Buffalo from This Ain't Checkers. So all the Vehicles there are the same, just the Buffalo and F620 switched places, but remained the same Color.

The Bright Yellow Comet in normal Triathlons is a Bright Yellow F620 in This Ain't Checkers... I need to check that one...

This EC2 is invisible, it seems... I need to check what the EC2 is on it... And now I checked... Can't find anything... Both the Yellow Traffic F620 and EC2 F620 are the same, no Color 2 visible...

Is it Lustered though? I don't know, I got the 113 Luster while the 89,89,113 from Traffic F620 has the same Color Scheme, except for the Color 2.

I need to check if the EC2 F620 is Lustered though.

And it is Lustered! I got the Silver Stone Poly - 4 Luster now...

Out of the Lusters, 82 seems to be the best looking Special Luster (Bright Blue Poly), and then the Luster 50 (Torch Green). I tried putting the Lusters 82 and 50 on the F620 via Save Editor with the same Body Color... Almost no difference. The Special Lusters on the F620 just look less shiny to the Traffic one...

Lol, with all these things, it looks like I will need a 3rd Save File sometime!

 

It's not very important to me and can hold off for a while, but like my 2nd Save File, it'll be 100% already, will remove the Special Vehicles, save the game in another slot, and then obtain these remaining Special Vehicles from the Story (Hellfury and F620), plus all the stuff from Triathlons, Base Jumps, the Black Rimmed Cavalcade, etc, etc. I can probably come close to filling 16 more spaces but if there is a few left out, I can obtain Drug War Vehicles to fill the remaining spaces. But like I said, this can wait, even though the entire Project would take all of 2-3 days since all these are simple and can easily get them all, park them, save the game, basically...

 

Luckily, unlike the Zombie, the Hellfury IS obtainable for me on PS3. It's always there, unlike that Zombie that just vanishes after the cutscene 100% of the time.

Are you planning on recording ALL of the Vehicles for IV, TLaD, and TBoGT? Or....?

 

Eventually, Vivid Shadows and zazaza will probably be moving over to TLaD/TBoGT and recording them all and much quicker than IV as IV has like 10x more Special Vehicles to be found and even less storage space. But in the end, Videos should be made for all 3 of these GTA's as way too many Videos are circulating around for the 3D Era which we have plenty recorded already...

 

Are you using the best Methods for the Special Vehicles? Like, some of these are NOT a good idea to get on the first time through the Mission since it requires you to fail the Mission and WILL BE RECORDED in the Stats. But if you want until AFTER you finish the Story, you get the option through the Phone to Replay ANY of the Story Missions and if you fail them using a Replay, it will NOT be recorded in the Stats. And you can literally get ALL of the Special Vehicles from the Story using Replays, so it's sort of pointless to get them the first time through the Mission. There is some that wouldn't matter, though. Like that Unique Caddy and also the Unique/Lustered Stretch E. Why? Cuz you're literally driving the Vehicle in question already while passing the Mission. Same with the EC Black Maverick. You have it in your possession after passing the Mission. So it's pointless to get some of them on a Replay. I am suggesting to use the best Methods, though...

Yes I do plan on making videos for all 3 GTAs, however, I'll probably obtain most vehicles, not all. I have realised that TLaD and TBoGT are in a shortage of videos. Just note this will take time, and I won't get it all done in one day.

I finished TBoGT for the first time earlier today on PS3! Now I can start collecting properly!

 

So far, I obtained the Unique Caged Caddy on my first try, and boy was it an experience. While I was pushing it, I accidentally drove over one of those downwards staircases, like the entry to the gun shop in Chinatown, and the Caddy fell onto it's side, and then kinda jumped back up onto it's wheels. I pretty much had a heart attack. Then, it was time to detonate Tony and/or Rocco, so I did, and somehow the explosion missed Tony, but got Rocco, and he somehow survived. So then I detonated them again, and I also rigged the Bullet GT with a bomb hoping that if the sticky bomb itself didn't kill them, the car would, and it sure as hell did. Rocco was killed, and the Bullet GT was pushed INTO the parking space! When I got back to the parking space, I found the Caddy and Bullet GT still there! The Bullet GT had been repaired, so I got extremely lucky that the game didn't delete the Caddy, since I also had a Lustered Sultan RS parked in that space, leaving 3 cars there.

 

Also, one other thing I realized is that it's best if you push the Caddy while it's front is facing you, because the Handbrake is on, meaning that each time the Caddy veers off away from you, you can let off the gas, and the handbrake will re-arrange the Caddy so it's straight, and facing you again. This also reduces the chance of the Caddy being flipped over.

You do know that all you had to do was use an Explosive Shotgun on BOTH Rocco and Tony to AVOID the Post Mission Cutscene and have a much easier time with the entire process. The Sticky Bomb Method is so unreliable, cuz as you said, half the time it doesn't even blow them up as they have so much Health or something. So I just get the two goons near each other, pull out my Explosive Shotgun, and blast them away within a couple shots and both of them die, and you're NOT teleported away from the area. You just jack a Vehicle, drive around the Block, and come back to the Safehouse to see the Unique Caddy (Caged) sitting there, but this time with the doors unlocked. It's quite basic...

Well, that's the thing. I have adopted a lot of my own Methods these days for Special Vehicles that are not in any Guides, especially now since I am not the Author and can edit them anymore. It's up to SpriteFan274 to do that now. Furthermore, he hasn't done Saves extensively like I have in 10 GTA's and obtained all the Special Vehicles to know the best Methods to obtain them yet. That comes with experience and practice. It's also why I am taking the liberty to just record all my own Videos (SpriteFan274 can add them into the Guide if he wants) and show all the best Methods and things that work on a Platform that nobody else records. I like my Channel to stand out from the rest and not just record the same damn few games over and over on the same damn Platform that we've seen time and time again...

 

For some reason, every time I obtain the EC Black Sanchez from Corner Kids and park it in front of my Caddy outside of Luis' apartment, it vanishes.

 

No idea. I have it, but mine is parked at Brian's Safehouse in Alderney with the EC Black Maverick...To be honest, I rarely have Special Vehicles disappear on me in any GTA. I am very careful and just know all the quirks of each game due to playing them extensively and having had done Saves time and time again to really learn and understand each GTA...

You must be unlucky, considering tons of Special Vehicles always go missing for you in various GTA's. Only when I was new to collecting and didn't understand how the games worked did I lose Special Vehicles and have issues like these...

I finally finished my first TBoGT save on PS3! Check out my About Me page!

 

The reason this save took so long was because I was trying a lot of my own methods for these vehicles, to see if it would work, unfortunately none of them did.

 

I was unable to obtain the Unique/EC Dark Grey or Light Grey Rims Slamvan, EC Bright Blue F620 and Johnny's EC Blue and White Hexer,

 

I couldn't get Luis out of the Stretch to get the Slamvan, Brucie never came back to me after No. 3 failed, and Johnny's Hexer kept disappearing after I started a mission and came back.

 

Whatever I missed in my PS3 save, I'll hopefully get in my PC save. That wraps up TBoGT for now.

I couldn't get Luis out of the Stretch to get the Slamvan

Did you mash all the buttons? Before my save got corrupted or whatever, that's what I did. Now, I used the 360 version of the game but I pretty much started slapping X,A,Y, and B. Luis was a little late on getting out, but I still managed to obtain the Slamvan. It took me a couple of tries, and it's tedious. You just have to keep on trying until you hit it.

"STRATEGY (PS3 / 360 versions): These only appear during the chase sequence

in the Stretch E, with Luis locked into tossing sticky bombs. To obtain one,

as soon as the sequence begins, press buttons frantically, and Luis will "get

out" of the car. He'll still be stuck in the sticky bomb targeting mode, but

this will end once the mission fails for abandoning the car. Note that you

begin mashing buttons once the cutscene is over and you can see the game world

again, NOT during the blank loading screen after the cutscene. Starting the

mashing too early will prevent the trick from working properly. Proceed to

find a nearby Slamvan and jack it. Drive back to a parking spot at your

leisure."

Yeah I just mashed everything (apart from fire) on my PS3 controller, but nothing would work for me.

Hm, strong point. What's the point of a Guide when NOBODY is going to read the Guide, but instead people will try to search for other Sources of Information on the Internet? This is exactly what you're implying, and it's insulting and ungrateful. Should I close, lock and delete these Guides then?

 

Let's repeat things that were mentioned before thousands of times, because some people don't seem to fully understand it, thus an echo chamber, thus Spam...

 

Also, this TBoGT Guide only has 4 Pages... It's not like you can't find stuff like in the SA and LCS Guides where there are over 100 or 70 Pages.

 

Oh and Claude, what's the Luster on your TBoGT Lustered PMP 600? The Luster might not be Special.
