Thoughts on performance? Might buy one. Any better than the Gargoyle?

It's all around good, handles tight, pretty fast, maybe not as fast, but I feel the handling makes up for it, and it sounds amazing.

Edit: It's also fast off-road.

Can you use this bike in off-road races (like Sanchez and BF400) or is it only in motorcycles class?

If you have cash and a garage slot to spare then go for it. In my opinion, though, the Cliffhanger is to the Gargoyle as the Enduro is to the Sanchez. They're ridiculously similar but I *think* the Gargoyle has a slight edge on acceleration and top speed. I've not done any thorough testing - that's just a "feel thing".

I was wondering where the thread for this was. Considered starting it myself.

I'm bound to change this later, but this is what I have for now.

Haven't tried, so not sure.

I was hoping it would be more like the Harley-Davidson XR750.

But it definitely has some of the 1971 FX Super Glide in it too.

Would have been super cool if there were capes like Evel Kinevel wore.

Dude....

It's as close to an exact replica of Evel Knievel's very own XR750 as they can get without paying royalties.

Exactly, only shame is we can set out hot shoe to the dirt and slide the beast dirt track style..

Antigenetic

Went for a cleaner 'street' look without the livery; (#AA00000) Pure Black as Primary, Chrome as Secondary with Chrome Racer tires.

I could be wrong, but I think this bike is faster, after watching some 'vs' video's.

The Cliffhanger is very similar to the Gargoyle, although it has a much more meaner and "classic" Harley sound. I did notice by putting on the Bobber wheels on both bikes they seem to be more "bouncy" - may just be me but both want to hop on little walls and bumps after putting those tires on. I prefer the tail of the Gargoyle and how it swoops up over the flat rear of the Cliffhanger but with my character dressing up as Evil Knievel I actually sold my Gargoyle. It's a much better fit for me, though both bikes are very similar with only the sound being the real notable difference. I recommend getting the Gargoyle if you want to save 100K but if you really want the Evil Knievel bike and a (in my opinion) better exhaust sound get the Cliffhanger.

Definitely worth the purchase price. Has a proper V-Twin noise that I can't get enough of. Both the Gargoyle and Cliffhanger are good choices for those who prefer cruisers over sports bikes. On a side note, the Cliffhanger reminds me a bit of the Nightblade from TLaD, besides the obvious difference in headlights. Really, thats the only thing I don't like about it, is the weird headlights. 8/10 :D

I love that thing. It sound awesome. I removed the livery and put a nice metallic olive green. I just wish there was a modfication available to remove the plate at the front and replace it with a proper headlight. With the stock wheels it would have an even better retro look

Lets be honest, the Cliffhanger cant hold a patch to the Gargoyle for wheelies, climbing, bouncing, cornering and even bails easier (imo).

But the cosplay is unreal! I had the Evil Knievel stunt bike many years ago, greatest toy ever.

This bail in this vid is pure GTA <3 <3 <3

I never would have given this a chance if my friend didn't tell me just how monstrous it was.

Now it's just crazy stunt sesh's with this bad-boy.

You can ramp off of just about anything.

I haven't had this much fun since... Well, the Trophy Truck's release...

bloatedsack

Has the frame and (lack of) radiator the Gargoyle should've had... and continues Rockstar's bizarre headlight fetish on cruisers.

The Bagger, the Gargoyle and now Cliffhanger ruined by their insistence on two winky little projector lights in a massive mounting plate. At least the Sovereign got that part right.

A real blast to drive through traffic... I kinda like it alot... Need further investigation to see how it compares to the gargoyle... But this thing is fun to drive...

I like the gargoyle, but I like this even more. I think I will sell my gargoyle and replace it with this.

That's exactly what I did. I don't like the tiny headlights though, as other people have mentioned. They/it should be more like the Innovations. But other than that I love it :) .
