Menstrual Deranged
Love this show! We decided to try it out sometime in early August and ended up binge-watching it in two days. I really loved everything about it--the characters (especially the kids), the small town setting, the whole '80s vibe. I set the intro song as my ringtone a couple weeks ago haha. I'm like a fangirl now. AlienTwo and TheGodDamnMaster

Mister Pink
Finally finished this. Really enjoyed it. Funny because I think I started it the day it released but I'm usually very busy. Good to finish it up around Halloween though. I'm looking forward to season 2. Edited November 11, 2016 by Mister Pink 𝙼𝚄𝚂𝙸𝙲 𝙽𝙾𝙽 𝚂𝚃𝙾𝙿

Pepperjack
Not as mysterious as the first season, but still good in my opinion, some good bad ass moments, and a nice heart warming ending, we haven't seen the last of mind flayer, he'll probably f*ck up more sh*t eventually, also the smoke that came out of will near the end, might possess someone else, it didn't just dissipate it flew off

Is this The Guy?
Almost done with chapter six Excellent season so far Its funny that Steve and Dustin ended up teaming together I didnt even recognize Paul Reiser. Just a couple minutes ago it hit me like hey thats Paul Reiser I love Sean Astin Watching the beginning of chapter 8 right now. That scene with Billy and his dad was some pretty eye opening sh*t Love how the gang ended up all together like that outside the lab gates And yes!!! Bob Newby, superhero. Edit: rip Bob Newby Edited October 30, 2017 by That Guy There
Tech-Noir
Finished Season 2 Episode 4 and got some annoying issues Nancy recording that Hawkins lab conversation seems so unrealistic. The guy threatens them and gets the point across that nothing can be told about the "mistake" of the upside-down and all that, yet you're telling me that they didn't check Nancy's bag and find that giant recording device? Yeah, okay. Dustin keeping that upside-down creature seems really unrealistic too, considering he knows well of just how threatening the demogorgon was. I understand their kids, so they can be naive but they're all pretty damn intelligent, so not keeping a creature from the dimension that almost killed one of your best friends seems like a common-sense decision. RIP my homie Mew Mew too. Actually makes me resent the Dustin character now to an extent. Other than that, it's great so far and Hopper is still my favorite character. darthYENIK
Finished it. Loved the episode with Eleven and the gang. Loved the part with Nancy dancing with Dustin, kind of closing a loop that started with the first five minutes of the first episode. Bob... I like the open ended way the season ended. Definitely setting up big things for the next season. Hoping for a big team up with the super powered kids, with Eleven leading the way. I also hope Will becomes some sort of hero. I don't think they've developed his character enough. He's been through a lot of sh*t, and I want to see his mental state react. Either crumble under the trauma, or (and more preferred) get tough from it, become stronger. Become a hero. Not a super hero or anything, just a strong character who isn't afraid to put himself in danger for others. Kirsty

TheGodDamnMaster
A pretty solid follow-up to the first season. Bob was easily my favorite new character, Sean Astin made him a delight to watch. Episode 7 was pretty bad, it felt like the set-up for a spinoff series and interrupted that tense cliffhanger at the end of episode 6 when the demodogs started invading the lab. The only loose end is the monster escaping out of Will's body and vanishing into the night sky. I'm really curious how they plan on continuing this story. darthYENIK and UshaB 2 Intel Core i9-9900k | Seasonic FOCUS Plus 750W | 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666MHzMSI GeForce RTX2070 | WD Blue 1TB HDD | Samsung 950 PRO M.2 512GBAntec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower | MSI MPG Z390 Gaming Pro Carbon AC
Matrelith
I finished the season yesterday and it was pretty solid. Shoutouts to Bob and Steve for being the MVP's this season; they were a joy to watch. Steve's transition from being kind of a douchey guy to basically become the group's babysitter was a lot of fun. Also glad to see pretty much everyone (that survived) getting a happy. Endings things at the Snow Balls was a nice callback to season 1. Wasn't a big fan of the discount Suicide Squad that was episode 7 though Goldn-Bayse, UshaB and iBUCKEYE
darthYENIK
I like the character of Steve because he begins his story as the prototypical 80s high school bully asshole. And you assume for most of the first season that he will stay that two dimensional character. And then he gains depth, you see that hes not just an asshole, hes a self aware asshole, and he doesnt necessarily like that. He doesnt want to be an asshole, he genuinely cares for Nancy, and wants to be a better person for her. He wants to prove to himself, that hes not what his ginger friend said he was. He wants to be a hero. UshaB, TheGodDamnMaster, iBUCKEYE and 2 others

Kirsty
Finished it at the weekend, definitely an impressive follow-up to the first season and it's ended in a similar fashion where it's not really a cliffhanger but it's wide open for more stories to come. Like others have said, the character development this season has been really fun to watch, no one is one-dimensional, even down to the bully big brother, and I can only see everyone growing further. The kids are just fantastic little characters, and Sean Astin was a pleasant surprise. Dustin paired with any character is just hilarious, between his cat lady mom and Steve, glad he got to dance with Nancy in the end. "Max" is a direct reference to Life is Strange, so I really enjoyed that they gave this new character her name even though she and her bully brother didn't serve a huge purpose other than perhaps to explore teenage crushes for the other boys in the group and give Steve an antagonist. Thought it was a shame Max and Eleven didn't have a non-hostile meeting by the end though, considering Eleven has nothing to be jealous over. I hope other gifted kids are found, we're definitely not seeing the last of Eight (I can't remember her real name) but I have a feeling that the shadow monster is going to turn Eleven evil for some part soon, he's going to find a way in since she went all crazy red eyes before closing the gate. Oooh and the music has just been great too. It's just an enjoyable show all round. I can't wait for next year.

darthYENIK
New season. 7 episodes in and I like it. I still have, and always will have an unreasonable crush on Winona Ryder. It’s a lifelong thing. edit: I finished it. Once again Will is just not developed. Every other character grows, but Will just stays the same. He’s been through so much sh*t and he just never changes his reaction to the world. Edited July 6, 2019 by darthYENIK

Guest Billy Russo
Loved this Season. Way better than the second season for me. The dynamic between the characters is at an all-time high, just great chemistry across the board. A lot of great acting on display. David Harbour and Dacre Montgomery in particular. Love the iconic duos throughout, Joyce and Hopper, Steve and Dustin, hell even Erica and Dustin got some laughs from me. Just love this show and how well they mix humour with serious moments. They just know what they are doing. One thing I love about this show is no character feels 'pointless' IMO, I feel like pretty much every actor brings something to the table.
