Is it possible to mute your mic and hear the people in your chat?? If so please help haha.. Also how do you mute your mic without unplugging the headphones?

Just unplug your mic and you should be able to hear them, i'm assuming you're talking about public chat.

Don't even know haha, since apple headphones doesn't work I bought these cheap headphones at Walgreen.. They work fine it's like a gummie headphones?

Use a piece of tape that's not so sticky and use it to cover the mic

Like everyone said I guess tape up the the mic part.

Or either save up your money/Birthday/winter holiday ask for a gaming headset. There are some that cheap ones that 30 to 70 dollars.
