Can't invite or join friends ps4

Before you berate me, yes, I did search and NO I didn't find any answers

 

I have been playing on ps4 now for a few months with no problems.

 

All of a sudden today I cannot join friends or invite friends, it says it's disabled until we both have completed a tutorial?

 

I've been playing since launch and NEVER had this. I'm rank 428. He's up there too. We play together often, and I had no issues with anyone else before.

 

Also every public lobby I join is empty except me, what's going on??

I couldn't join my friend via game as well. This happens quite often, without the message though. Try to join his session via PSN menue. I mostly join my friends via PSN.

 

It could be a bug or maybe you have missed out some missions. Could be Lamar or just a bug.

Have you and your friends gained your levels legit? (it sounds like you've been doing that, since you've played from launch)

It's a huge longshot but if your friends level-cheated they might be heading for an account reset, which then probably would trigger that message about the tutorial.

But that seems very unlikely...

 

If I was you I'd check the R* support forums and see if someone else have the exact same problem otherwise file a support ticket to Rockstar.
