Stunt Races - Track Thoughts

Just curious to hear other people's thoughts on specific stunt race tracks.

Favourites? One you really dislike? Etc etc.

My favourites are:

Rally. Feels like a challenge to go through it with pace, easy to spin out.

Downtown Loop, set to night time, is awesome. Looks cool and gives off that F Zero vibe.

Canyon Crossing. Another challenging course and I like the parts that mirror an F1 track.

Least favourite: Trenches 1. Really not a fan of this one. Hold R2 and off we go until the end of the race.

Special shoutout to East Coast, on which I've never failed to fall off right at the start of the race. Every. Goddam. Time

I really like canyon crossing and "plummet" or something like that , the one with the massive drop

Oh sh*t yeah I forgot Plummet. Definitely a fave

Downtown Loop and Plummet are pretty good. My favourite is probably Maze Bank Ascent.

I also like Duel because the Muscle cars need a bit more control on those corners with drops.

Not really a fan of Canyon Crossing - some parts of it are a little poorly thought out and confusing, in my opinion.

The rest are mostly good though. Rally helps weed out some of the people who don't slow down a little during the off road parts.

They all suck

They look cool but GTA racers are all bumper car morons and now when you get hit you go flying and lose ten places

I won't be playing any of these stupid races anymore

Hard to pick a fav, I always do well on over and under and the one with the bowling pins at the very start (forgot the name).

Only ones I'm not too keen on is trenches (little boring compared to the rest) and nightlife because I seem to make little stupid errors on it.

Duel, Over and Under, Turbine and Maze Bank Ascent are good.

Trench can be good depending on how the physics want to work in the flying department.

Nightlife, City Air, Vinewood and Plummet are just bumper car chaos and see how many times you can be bumped off course by other players.

Downtown Loop and the one that has the waves cross the track can either aid you in victory or severely screw you over. Satisfying and frustrating tracks depending on result.

Duel is my favorite with Turbine right behind. Splits and Vinewood Downhill are my least favorite.

Downtown Loop is probably my favorite. Reminds me of San Francisco Rush 2049.

I checked the high scores on plummet, some guy has an elapsed time (it's point to point) of 17 secs. Just not possible.

These shouldn't be called "stunt" races imo since there's no points given for stunts. They're essentially just regular races on Hot Wheel tracks. Don't get me wrong, I do like the tracks I just wish there was a reason to pull off stunts during these races... like maybe;

Flip = -2 seconds

360° = -2 seconds

That might make racers actually want to pull off sick stunts instead of trying not to flip or rotate so we can land perfectly. I don't really consider that "stunting".

Plummet is my favorite. I love looking up at that very Hot Wheels portion of the track up in the sky, then getting up there and racing around it. makes me feel like a kid the most. Just wish that was a lap race. When Creator comes out, I'll be making my idea of Plummet II that WILL be a Lap race if they give us enough props and track length.

Could have been better.

Im ok with risky narrow trackmoments, but jumping over checkpoints should not be a thing...same for taking jumps off track

FYI: You earn additional RP for doing stunts like front flips and backflips.

On topic: I like them all so far, with the exception of Rally. Not because it's badly designed or anything, but because it's way to easy to overshoot certain checkpoints and it's a lot harder to regain control over your car on dirt roads when someone feels the need to pit maneuver you again.

And for hitting objects...lol..aaah yes, i hit a bowling pin with my panto thinking it would simply fly out of the way but noo it caused me to spin out of control, but atleast i got 20Rp... thanks for that R*! hahaha

You make a good point. How about if as well as giving RP, when you stunt during a race you get points for it and the money payout for the best stunter mirrors the pay for race position. That way people could focus on either one and still get decent money but the person who both races and stunts well gets the most cash.

Also they really need to make the checkpoints go as high as the top of the map, it's a bit of a contradiction that the faster and higher you go over jumps in a stunt race makes you very likely to miss a checkpoint and lose. If anything there should be a reward for getting the most air.

RP for stunts but then miss the checkpoint, using the BF400 for example.

My favourites are East Coast and City Air, I also like Trench because it has a bit of a post apocalyptic/futuristic feel for me.

Least favourite is Rally but only because I'm crap at it, I do think it's very well designed. Just need more practice on it.

can you keep getting rp if you keep hitting the pins? if yes then that could be the ultimate rp glitch 😂

Sentinel Driver

Plummet is the best because you can easily break top speed records in that track. My previous record top speed was like 140 mph with a zentorno but then I got 205 mph in a sultan rs by playing plummet

All the bike ones annoy me somewhat as lots of the checkpoints are placed so poorly that they're easy to overshoot unless you slow down as you head into the jump, which seems counterintuitive.

And to be honest many of the bike ones would be amongst my favorites if it weren't for the sh*tty checkpoint placement.
