Premium Races: Spawning Back Into Free Roam

One thing I think they need to change right quick with this update is have each competitor spawn in their own free roam session instead of all being put in the same one. What tends to happen on many occasions is when they all spawn back to free roam next to each other the butt hurt losers will go after the winner, even going as far as making it their life mission. With 20k gone the saltiness is gonna be high, and you should not put them in the same session as the race winner, bad thing waiting to happen.

It's standard behavour, it's just that a Premium Race is one of the few times everyone in the job 'votes' for freeroam so it stands out.

 

Start jobs in passive (heist setups should've taught you this) if you don't want to be clusterf*cked. Otherwise you spawn back in your car iirc so give it legs.

Passive mode. Problem solved.

The most salty of which will just follow you blaring their horn and waiting till the moment you turn it off, whilst also sending butt hurt text messages. Excuse me for just wanting to go back to my business as usual instead of the saltiness from the race being carried over to free roam. What happens on the track should stay on the track, not follow you to free roam, simple as that.

How silly of me for wanting to just get on with my day, I forgot how toxic this game's community is, especially in the butt hurt factor and those wanting to express it.

Its nowhere near as bad in a heist lobby, there is no salt, no money loss, absolutely nothing. With Premium races you lost a race, lost 20k, that money of which is now in the pocket of the man who beat you, plenty of motivation there to be an asshole over just a regular heist lobby. For me only 1 out of every 6 heist lobbies start with teammates shooting each other.

 

In fact to elaborate further it tends to happen pretty rarely, especially when things are going smoothly and missions being completed without a hitch. Even players who's dots are blood red and shoot everyone on sight will leave me and his other teammates be and just go after others in the session. They play nice so they will get invited back to progress further and they figure being a sh*thead to everyone on your team between each mission puts you on the fast track to being replaced, so in fact I argue its even better in heist lobbies. It often in fact does, which is why in most lobbies people play nice after each setup.

don't vote for freemode, back out. why vote for freemode when you can instantly leave back to freemode during vote screen and be spawned in a different location than those plebs back in the lobby you joined from originally if applicable?

Would the same logic for playing random heists finales apply here too? Which is to say, enable passive mode before playing (so it stays activated when respawning), joining via Invite Only session, or backing out from the vote screen instead of voting for free mode... ?

The current Premium Race out at Sandy Shores, when I lose and want another crack at it, I gotta call for my Besra, but butthurt racers seem to notice what Im running for, and then they blow it up before I can get away. Mild trolling, but effective when youre dying to get back in the premium race for another attempt and have to get back across the map again.

I think it's actually a good idea that they pool everyone together for the most part, because some of the "winners" are just lames that crash out the faster guy and cruise to a win, so naturally they deserve the 50 deaths from spawn killing that comes their way.

 

They should have just made premium racing non-contact tbh, nothing worse than when you know you can go 5 seconds+ a lap faster than the others, but you can't get a clean lap because of the lameness of others.
