CEOs should have vote to kick disabled.

I would only agree with the title if it meant instead that the person in that particular lobby first gets to kick with impunity. No voting necessary.

I don't think it should be disabled, I think there should be severe punishments for serial kickers. That would be the only way to deter it. By alas, R* will do no such thing. Shame, but true.

think as a programmer...

how do you tell the difference between kicking people because they are trolls and kicking people because you want the session for yourself?

see how many times the person you are voting to kick has killed you etc.

That doesn't solve it either. A troll will destroy $18,000 worth of crates. A troll of trolls will wait for a Titan or a Tug to be on-screen and destroy $2,220,000 worth of crates.

it's not trolling to destroy crates, that's the mission of everyone not in the CEO group... to defend the headhunted, to destroy crates.

Oh on the contrary it IS trolling. Its Rockstar sanctioned and promoted trolling tho which is fairly new so I see why you might be mistaken.

Unless youre a troll in denial, are you??

When I load up a npc car with stickies, go off radar and suicide bomb a crate carrier or cargo vehicle you bet im Fvcking trolling.

Admit it it feels better. Denying it is just that, denial. You destroy crates youre a troll, a sanctioned one but still.

I now buy single crates as lures for idiots for to kill. Order crate, pick it up and set an ambush spot.

Im trolling. Youre probably flying in jets blowing up cargo seriously thinking to yourself you're not a troll but doing what the game developers want?? They want you to troll to destroy cash flows.

It's not nice when it happens, but then again... I have had more than one occasion where someone is 'friendly' up until a certain point and then they turn psychotic... Delivery of a medium warehouse Briquade comes to mind... After 5 of 15 drops, one Kuruma starts following me. My non-associated friend flies around with a hydra and asks if he should take care of him... I replied: No, let him, he's non-aggressive... (we both used the regular ingame chatmessages, btw, so he could read it too)...

But then, when Hydra is far enough (not a minute later, after five minutes of following me during my drops), he then kills me... I immediately lag myself out, so I'll save my crates. No issue there (well three crates lost) and afterwards I ask my friend in the hydra... He said the guy took or tried to take care of the Briquade before immediately leaving and avoiding any repercussions, from my friend or anyone else as it was a friendly session (10ish players, three CEO's)...

That's how some folks operate and I have to agree to a certain level with Joeboneless. When folks are trying to make money, all other things are a damn waste of time and diverting you from your real objective. So after awhile, people remedy the problem before it arises...

And yep, it's not a nice feeling to get booted, but just remember the organization might have had serious griefing happening and now, they don't take any chances anymore...' Nothing personal, it's just business' I keep thinking in mind..

I usually send a txt message to ceos saying i wont interfere with their crates (because I never do). More often than not, i get all kinds of friend requests and messages back. Most CEOs appreciate this kind of message. Lets them know your not a hostile troll.

What, it was too hard for you to find another lobby?

I love kicking out morons. You weren't invited, we are busy, SCRAM

Are you and your crew that incompetent that you can't handle 1 person?has nothing to do with it. Dealing with you takes time. Time that's better spent making money. Its a cleaner cut just to make you hit the bricks through kick vote.

Exit CEO mode, kick random, restart CEO mode.

Removing their ability to Vote to Kick is pointless.

If anyone's to blame, it's R* for making special cargo locked to Public and then making Cargo vehicles about as sturdy as the tinned foil around a baked potato.

Next!

If anyone's to blame it's the people who are scared of a little PvP. It's not R*'s fault that you are a pussy and want to do CEO missions in what amounts to easy mode. Put your big boy pants on and defend yourself.

I'd be willing to bet that over 50% of the people who want to deliver cargo in a private lobby are also the same people who bitch about money glitches and tell the people who glitch money that they should just play the game and not take a shortcut. Shoes on the other foot now so why don't you just play the game as it was intended instead of wanting to play the game in easy mode.

To solve this problem it would be great if R* allowed cargo to be picked up and sold in private lobbies but the cargo cost twice as much in a public lobby and only sold for 25% of what it does in a public lobby. That would solve everything. It would give the people who are scared of a little PvP what they want but it comes at a cost.

I know this won't be a popular post but it's not my fault that people can't handle the truth and instead immediately look for someone or something to blame.

I'm not saying it's not the bitch option. Delivering crates in public is fun. I'm just saying that removing their vote to kick is a pointless endeavour.

If you've been running your lobby solo, and some random joins, invites a friend, and immediately votes to kick you, you shouldn't give them any reason to stay in your lobby, especially if you've sent them a truce message. Start a crate/vip job as fast as you can to buy time (you can't be kicked until the job ends), go off radar or ghost, and grab your jet. These guys who want solo lobbies for the sole purpose of delivering crates are usually paranoid and will leave the lobby the second they feel any adversity. And when they leave, their kick vote is cancelled. You win.

It's amazing how many people on here are trying to pull the 'afraid' card.

When $2 million is on the line, YES I'm a little paranoid because most of you in game are pricks.

Yea, it's your mission to destroy or stop me.

So I find a solo, and you can't.

You wanna talk about players who really are afraid? ANYONE WHO HAS EVER USED PASSIVE MODE. They're the ones afraid of everything.

If you're gonna be a boring baby bitch and exercise Votekick control you can at least be civil and message the person. Give them a chance to leave willingly instead of immediately getting Bad Sport points assigned to an innocent player.

Personally if I'm in a situation where its obvious I'll be Votekicked, I'll be long gone of my own accord well before y'all have time to complete the vote. I have as much interest in sharing the session with a bunch of dull lil drones on the grind as they do in having me there.

removal of bad sport, return of friendly lobbies.

its all pretty easy, rockstar just has to implement it

don't hold your breath for it to happen, rockstar only implements changes if they revolve around selling more cash cards

I personally don't like kick "feature" in public freeroam. Players shouldn't be able to dictate who they are up against in public freeroam, same with reports for "griefing".

Invite only/crew sessions/job lobbies (before the job begins) are all ok to have the kick option but not public freeroam. Only my opinion.

That being said, since I moved to ps4 I've only had one 1 instance where someone placed 1 vote against me. He was a cheater, I blasted up his yacht. That's it, 1 vote in probably about 1 year. It's weird because my player card can be seen as suspicious to some because of my Rank/KD/outfit. Rank 500+

Also kicking people to move crates is being a bad sport and a bigger turd cutter then the ones hunting crates. I'll blow up crates all day but I would never kick someone to make my deliveries safe. I would stop working if I didn't feel safe or didn't want to risk it but not kick anyone.

3 jets in the air all different organizations all same crew? Maybe I won't move product here.

Not

3 jets in the air all different organizations all same crew? Git out da jet no skill puss! No life! Report! Kick! Jet losers!

Pssh some people need to embrace the jet as the greatest tool and use it as such, not just kill people with it or hate on people who use it because they can't fly, but use it. Some vip work becomes super quick and easy with jet same with contact missions/crates/travel.

Its FREE-roam.

People are free to do whatever they want with the tools and game mechanics they are provided with, whether that's having friendly car meets, vote kicking everyone that joins, blowing up CEO crates, jet griefing everyone into oblivion, or anything else.

I have my own opinions on what should be promoted/nerfed/buffed/balanced/removed or what I see as exploits or abuse, but so does everyone else.

If Rockstar determines something is problematic or not working as intended then they'll change it.

This is irrespective of whatever you, me, or the rest of the player base thinks.

The best you can do is send them feedback to their [email protected] email.

seriously, we are a few months shy of the 3rd birthday of this game, R* has released over 20 patches for the game, if to this day they havent changed nothing in the jet, that mean that its actually working as intended!

No Use For A Name

When I get the pop up that players are voting me out I always drop what I'm doing and give them a self-fulfilling prophecy. I'll get my Hydra, go off radar and terrorize them until I'm booted or they leave. If I happen to destroy $500k worth of crates during a sell mission, whoops!

All of my etiquette goes out the window when scared CEOs try to vote me off when I'm minding my own business. It's the biggest pussy thing you can do in this game

It's f*cking annoying. It's a childish thing to do, it's entitled, stupid and the worst thing is I can't even blame them. Like what else are they going to do? If it's either f*ck over other people and abuse the system, or risk some wankstain showing up in his Lazer and ruining everything, of course they're going to do the dick thing.

I'm gonna be honest here, me and my crew do kick randoms out when delivering crates. Not because we're scared but because it triggers a chain reaction whenever somebody joins. It's best to neutralize the threat before the lobby becomes infested with players.

Anyway why are people getting mad about this? It's not as if being kicked from the lobby is getting a ban from the game. There are private sessions for those who just want to cruise around. Let CEO's make money in peace and stop b*tching.

That sounds good and all if PvP wasn't a joke in this game.

And out of curiosity, since you sound so hardcore in your post, I must ask, do you only play free aim with no mini map/hud and no markers above anybodies head? I mean, anything else is just pussy mode right?

I think there should be a "Vote to Permanently Banish from GTAO" option, altogether.

Some of these little 7 year old kids calling me the N word is just flat out exhausting. :)

Otherwise, I don't see a need to remove the option to Kick. It's rare and hasn't affected me, ever.

Once it does, of course, then I'll change my mind and revisit this post!

Vote Kicking in public free roam games should not exist..

But since it does exist.. It exist only in a way the R* deems perfect.

Nothing like getting vote kicked for no reason and getting BAD SPORT ticked on. YOU DESERVE IT!. Because... well.. because some a few randoms said so.. that why.

Same as bad sport for iblowing up PVS. You deserve it.. Stop defending yourself assholes!

Kicking should only exist in jobs.. because one player can actually cause problems to not allow said jobs to finish.. or constantly do things to mess up said jobs.

But in free roam.. Public free roams. Well its meant to be public free roam, not a private party.

Eh no.

There are people who join to CEO sessions and then only starts to ruin things. The only ways to deal with that kind of person are either kicking them or spawnkilling them until they leave. Kicking is much easier and saves the time for both.

There are other public sessions available with lots of players. No need to f*ck up others CEO or VIP missions.
