CEOs should have vote to kick disabled.

grand theft spaghetti

just loaded into a lobby and was instantly voted out by a crew of scared little babies. i just loaded in on the other side of the map in passive mode. that should also apply to friends of an active CEO in the same session so the rest of their butt buddies cant just muscle everyone else out.

if there are enough of you to control the lobby then their should be enough of you to handle the only other player in the lobby. but if they spawn in passive mode and arent in anyway hostile dont even worry about them.

It's a shame that you get Bad Sport points for it, but unless the game could force you to stay passive (against other players, but still defend against NPCs) then it's working just as Rockstar intended. Same argument the Jet-griefers use against CEOs moving crates since that's locked to public lobbies.

Im guilty of this. If a random joins then more will come. Not justifying it though but that's the most likely scenario. But most of the time our crew just jets grief or spawn kill anyone who bothers us.

Agreed. I have been kicked myself. It allows CEO's to dominate lobbies. Which, when you look at the point of F=F is the opposite of the intention.

You have to keep in mind Rockstar clearly intended CEO jobs to involve PvP and team work, so the best idea is not to expect to do them by yourself. Get a nice team yourself and plan your moves beforehand.

Well they can either kick you or team up on you until it makes more sense for you to leave. They're just speeding up the process of getting you out by kicking you. I don't agree with it, but its the reality of it. Its a double edged sword Rockstar not allowing CEO missions in private lobbies, we now have lobbies of CEO's running public lobbies.

Maybe they were trying to have a friend session and be able to do Crate Sales too. There's a lot of factors in why they kick but there are also a lot of lobbies to enter.

The kick vote needs to have justification though. Minding your own business and being kick by majority isn't justification enough. Needs to be looked at in the future to prevent abuse, that it is currently under too.

I don't think it should be disabled, I think there should be severe punishments for serial kickers. That would be the only way to deter it. By alas, R* will do no such thing. Shame, but true.

Exit CEO mode, kick random, restart CEO mode.

Removing their ability to Vote to Kick is pointless.

If anyone's to blame, it's R* for making special cargo locked to Public and then making Cargo vehicles about as sturdy as the tinned foil around a baked potato.

Next!

I had this happen.

A full org

Me

and a random

I'm in paleto bay taking snaps.

random is in the city

org is doing crates

players are voting to remove you from the session.

Granted I am 400 something, maybe they thought I was a modder or something, a lot of idiots do but for f*ck sake.

think as a programmer...

how do you tell the difference between kicking people because they are trolls and kicking people because you want the session for yourself?

It's a load of schitt actually.. Been kicked from free aim servers that i still have the CEO truce texts on the phone from earlier (3-4hrs ago) that sess.

Solo'ing crates in FA public then a random joins, no harm, then you notice their crew mate joins. Dont think much of it. Then all of a sudden theres a new org in sess and you get the pronpt.

Players are voting......

And all Im trying to do is deliver my crate before the kick screen appears.

edit: Would be absolutely spewing if I had just started a Lg warehouse sale run 2.2mil down the drain.

That doesn't solve it either. A troll will destroy $18,000 worth of crates. A troll of trolls will wait for a Titan or a Tug to be on-screen and destroy $2,220,000 worth of crates.

I know me and some dudes i team up with doing CEO stuff, also kick as many people as possible. Simply because just 1 troll can ruin everything for an entire group of people. Blame R* for this.

Clearly you have terrible hair :colgate:

Ahhh, if only players had made full use of the Kick button when those flying grey things were terrorising them. Funny that, eh?

Because people who kick people out of a session to keep it their own for CEO work would stick out like a sore thumb in their stats compared to those who only kick to get rid of some asshat. If they implemented a check, the issue would be redundant.

If anyone's to blame it's the people who are scared of a little PvP. It's not R*'s fault that you are a pussy and want to do CEO missions in what amounts to easy mode. Put your big boy pants on and defend yourself.

I'd be willing to bet that over 50% of the people who want to deliver cargo in a private lobby are also the same people who bitch about money glitches and tell the people who glitch money that they should just play the game and not take a shortcut. Shoes on the other foot now so why don't you just play the game as it was intended instead of wanting to play the game in easy mode.

To solve this problem it would be great if R* allowed cargo to be picked up and sold in private lobbies but the cargo cost twice as much in a public lobby and only sold for 25% of what it does in a public lobby. That would solve everything. It would give the people who are scared of a little PvP what they want but it comes at a cost.

I know this won't be a popular post but it's not my fault that people can't handle the truth and instead immediately look for someone or something to blame.

Bro, I recorded a video on X1 of this happening to me. I load into the game, do nothing, go passive, go to garage from house, get in car. I get in my car after 3 and a half minutes of loading and idling. Exit garage, drive forward a little, hit down on d pad to see lobby, drive into a pole, drive slowly away, pause and look at the 5 other people in lobbies kdr and characters, unpause, drive 13 feet and it says I'm being voted to be kicked, I pause and look at map and boom, kicked.

I drove like 20 feet from my little 6 car bay city ave apartment in passive mode.

All i was wanting to do was drive my car around the map and up to Paleto...

Is a passive Jack Carter that frightening for you and your 4 friends?

Incompetent? No.

But it takes time to find a lobby and honestly I don't know if you're cool or a 12 year old hydra turd.

So, I always play it safe, and give 'em the boot.

What's the big deal, it sends you to another lobby- you have to wait a minute- so what?

They should probably just assess BS points on people that vote kick. If you vote kick an occasional troublemaker, it probably won't hurt much. If you vote kick everyone, you'll end up relegated to BS lobbies.

You can play stupid all you want. Bottom line is when me and the crew are makin money, we are MAKING MONEY. We are not interest in engaging in combat and being forced to SPEND money on your stupid supercar you'll inevitably hide in, I'm not interested in my crates being blown up, I could destroy you all day, but even if I couldn't? Vote to kick. If I want to play stupid games, I'll join a new lobby. I don't care what you think my reasons are and you can try to belittle me all you want- I am not the only one who will kick you- so keep complaining, and enjoy getting kicked hahahaha

it's not trolling to destroy crates, that's the mission of everyone not in the CEO group... to defend the headhunted, to destroy crates.

I collect crates in assissted aim and free aim but ONLY sell in free aim.

If trouble comes knockin during a collection I respond in kind, heck theres even times I've had to sacrifice my own crates just so 'they' wouldnt get the jump on me.

All in all I agree Sir KornBread
