Online Session Timed Out/Alone/Crash Help! (PS4)

Hey, Ive tried asking for help on the GTA subreddit and I haven't been getting any solutions on this problem. For the last month or so, I have been having a problem where whenever I hop into an online GTA session I either get put into a solo session or my application crashed or it times out finding a session. My aim type is on assisted aim - full and my connection is wired and above average. Also, my NAT type is on Open and I have tried changing the MTU settings from 1500 to 1450. This is the only game that has had this happen to me and Ive tried reinstalling the game but to no avail. Because of this, I can only play in invite only sessions or campaign even though I used to be able to play public sessions. Any solutions? You guys are my last hope!

I had that issue all day today. Reset my console. Reset my router. Checked for interference.Reset everything and nothing worked.

 

Unlinked my social cub account. Unlinked my live account.

That helped alot. Managed a few times to get in really small lobbies with say 4 or 5 people. They would eventually leave. Probably trying to find a bigger lobby i guess.

 

Couldnt understand wtf was happening.

 

Wasnt until tonight that i noticed my aim settings had changed to assisted aim full. Ive never used that setting before. So i Went back to story and changed it to partial. Then i thought i would try one more time....and voila !!! Full lobbies again. Guess more people use that setting on my device. (Tho since the update, the list on the screen constantly says people are leaving....but at exactly the same time people are entering. Its very distracting to be honest lol)

Its almost as if people that join with a better connection automaticaly boot weaker ones out. ...maybe. i dunno about this stuff lol

 

Anyway what im saying is to make sure your machine and internet supply has no interference (eg. Too close to speakers, other electrical items)

Clear your cache completly on your machine and on your router.

try unlinking your accounts on your machine and on your social club. And if course on your copy of gta. Start up then relink.

 

try changing the aim settings.

 

And if all else fails get a new router.

 

Thats all i can suggest at the moment im not on ps4 but i assume all machines hace the same type of problems or cery similar.
