tailsneverfails1
Is it possible to edit traffic on GTA SA PC? Like adding the dune or the mothership to drive around like a normal civilan.
kellne
I think it could be done. Make something with vehicle.ide or something like that I think
OrionSR
It's cargrp.dat in SA's data folder - a plain-text file. Backup the original and then add your vehicle to one of the groups that has less than 23 entries. Some lines have too many; that's why the Phoenix and Euros never spawn despite their listing. These groups will be mixed together in zones based on pedgrp.dat and popcycle.dat - more text files. I don't think I've ever seen a zone map that displays the zone types, but this information is accessible using the zone editor tool of the Savegame Editor 3.x. Sometimes the vehicle won't spawn normally even if you do it right. I think it has something to do with rare vehicles, like topfun, having few possible drivers, and if the drivers won't spawn in the area then neither does the vehicle, but I've never been able to track this back to any kind of game mechanic - it's an untested hypothesis. So maybe the Dune spawns if you do it right, maybe not. Try with something more normal first, like NRGs, Phoenix and Euros, then swap in the Dune to see if it works. Changes to your data files usually require restarting the game. Edited July 15, 2016 by OrionSR j7n
