Vice City based - Vice City Stories

San Andreas based - The namesake game, GTA: San Andreas.

Liberty City based - It's a no-brainer for me, so I'm going with IV.

I dont know much about those 2 Dimension Games

I'm not talking of eras. Just Dimensions.

1) Vice City. VCS loses a few marks because it made The Malibu Club un-enterable.

 

2) San Andreas. Mostly because of the tri city state.

 

3) GTA IV. Because it's the king with the greatest rendition of New York City/New Jersey in a video game.

Tough one different stories which are both a similar level of quality, both have great soundtracks, I will give it to vice city it just has more charm, but it's very close.

 

 

This one is simple V for me, V has obviously far superior gameplay & a story which is shorter but still far better than the nonsensical story San Andreas had, I also like the city of Los Santos more than the 3 cities in SA better atmosphere and the level of detail puts the map in San Andreas to shame. San Andreas has a better soundtrack.

 

 

IV, but I adore LC, in general, TBOGT & TLAD are both great games in their own right. III was revolutionary and very charming. LCS is an underrated gem.

VC: Vice City. Fits better in the theme of the 80's.

SA: San Andreas. Better map and no huge boting as f*ck open areas like in V.

LC: IV. III's LC was definately better for it's time than IV was for 2008, but 2008's LC just feels better.

1. Never played VCS, so I had to vote for VC.

2. V. Sorry but the tri-city doesn't beat a HD-era game, not because of the graphics, but because of everything else.

3. IV. Obvious choice, not sure why the SP DLCs are included in the poll tbh.

Best VC - VCS (simply an upgraded version of the original + lighting effects are way better)

Best SA - San Andreas (personal preference though V's rendition was superb)

Best LC - IV though I personally do not like it. R* focused too much on gloom atmosphere for my liking (Other option would go to LCS, which was an updated rendition of III's LC)

Best VC-Vice City.I enjoyed the feel of the game and the characters a pretty good game imo

 

Best SA-This is a tough choice since i Didn't quite like V or SA but i'll go with SA..mainly for how revolutionary it was and the awesome features it did add.

 

Best LC-This was extremely tough since i heavily enjoy both of the games and the DLC titles but when push comes to shove i'll choose IV.mainly for it's amazing story and a huge overhaul of basically everything from the lll era.

Best Vice City GTA Game - Vice City

The only reason my vote goes to Vice City instead of Vice City Stories is due to the simple fact that I've never played the latter. Well that, and Vice City is my favorite Grand Theft Auto game so there's that to.

 

Best San Andreas Based GTA - Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

I love V but San Andreas takes the cake for me for simply having more activities, and a tad bit more variety in terms of map design. Nothing more, nothing less.

 

Best Liberty City Based GTA - Grand Theft Auto III

I have a confession to make. I've never played IV (kill me), nor Liberty City Stories for that matter. However, I am currently playing Grand Theft Auto III, and for that reason only I have to vote for GTA III as the best GTA game that takes place in Liberty reason. Until I play GTA IV, this vote will remain.

Best VC game - VCS
Had a lot more features and stuff to explore around the map.

 

Best SA game - SA

Contained San Fierro and Las Venturas. That's more than enough to make it beautiful, I like Los Santos in GTA V though.

 

Best LC game - IV

The city felt a lot heavier and depressing, therefore, it gives a better representation of NYC. However, it feels even better with the ICEnhacer mod. Feels prettier and accurate in a lotta ways.

Why? Because I liked the story. It brought the city alive. But overall I liked IV and its add ons much more than V. The story was simply better and there were more things to do, in a way smaller map...
