My Pfister 811 disappeared and R* don't want to fix it

Race-n-Chase

So approximately two weeks ago I bought a Pfister 811 and fully customised it. After the CS update with all the new cars, I wanted to sell it and discovered it disappeared from my garage. I submitted a ticket to R* support to get it back and received a (automated) reply, which stated that due to a high number of fraudulent lost vehicle claims they were unaible to verify whether my claim was legit.

I replied that I'm not a cheater and gave them the exact date of purchase and the date when I noticed it went missing. Again, they said they can't verify my claim.

Is anyone else familiar with this issue and/or has some advice on what to do next? It took me about a week of grinding to buy and customise it and it just feels unfair that I can't have my car back or a refund for it (nearly 2 million?).

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Keep on trying, you may get another person on your case who can actually help you.

Using R* support is like playing with dices, sometimes you get lucky with it.

Rekt.

Jk m8 unfortunate:( sadly all you can do is keep trying but they are likely to busy cuddling in shark card cash and coke to care about a car someone lost.

What sucks is, there probably are a lot of fraudulent tickets regarding lost cars.

I'd say blame the people who are ruining it for you rather than the developer...

Sad thing is, unless you can provide proof that you purchased it and it's gone they can't do much.

Just keep sending tickets I guess.

A friend of mine had the Series A heist crash on him and register as complete, when in fact he did not receive any reward for doing it.

First ticket didn't help, but the second one not only reimbursed him for lost money, but also reset his Criminal Mastermind Challenge limit (for whatever reason) so now he can claim the reward again...

Come over here to Scotland and I'll walk you around to their office so you can complain in person ;)

Haven't had this happen to me yet with support, but it's one of the reasons I screenshot my purchase history screen on the Maze Bank website when I make a new major purchase (although both times I lost a car they reimbursed me without my needing the extra proof).

I sent a picture with the last car i lost, thankfully just a Futo, and they replaced it because i had a picture of my character standing beside said Futo.

Needless to say I now spend a good twenty minutes taking footage with each new vehicle once i have it customized to my liking..

The Rockstar NYC office is near me so I usally just call there even tho im not supposed to, on many occasions they have had someone call back and try to address my problems. You have to be very assertive with out getting angry and it should help. heres the number (212) 334-6633.

I don't think Rockstar understands how customer service is supposed to work, especially when they won't lose any money doing it. Their first thought should be to refund you, not that you're being fraudulent. They really should just be paying everyone's claims, no questions asked. Sure it'd get abused, but if people are abusing it to get gta cash, maybe it's because there's something stupid about how to get cash in-game :U

Just keep on them and eventually someone will cave in and help you. Very annoyingly - though somewhat understandably, given that they must get hundreds of thousands of tickets a month - you have to really beat them over the head to get help with anything. Their first line of defense (and usually second as well) is a form response that may not even directly relate to your issue. After that they'll engage with you but try to blow you off at the same time, for a while. Keep updating the ticket, and just don't let it go. If it's going nowhere, tell them you'll boycott Rockstar titles from now on. Whatever it takes to get their attention.

grand theft spaghetti

this is what they do now. i know someone that said the same thing. car went missing and rockstar pretty much told him to go f*ck himself they dont replace missing cars anymore.

simply answer would be to ban the online cheats instead of punishing innocent players. if it got around you got a perma-ban for sending in phony tickets those kids would send less phony tickets.

Op, maybe its "stuck" at mors - there was a glitch where you would lose a car and have to destroy another one then call mors and "claim all" to get it back.. It happened to me a few times, good luck

Don't bother emailing them..

Call and DEMAND to be put on with Tier 2-3, Tier 1 is mostly Syria refugees they hired for cheap labor to copy n paste bullsh*t replies all day.

Keep emailing, keep insisting, tell them how much time you put into the game... It might take a while, emailing back and forth but eventually they'll forward your problem to someone who can actually fix it. You have to keep in mind that they get a lot of questions (also from dishonest people), so they will use certain strategies to wave aside as many as they can in the first stages of peoples questions. You'll just have to keep pressuring them for a while.

Sh*tty deal man. I had this happen 2 days after I bought the 811. They refunded my money for it two days later thankfully, and I'm loving that car. The Rockstar service rep that emailed me was Toby T. if that helps

This is why I take pictures of every car I own, by taking a picture of it by itself and a selfie with my character wearing the latest DLC clothing.

And even then, I lost my Kuruma once and my Dukes thrice, and they still closed my tickets because somehow that's not enough proof, despite showing the unique license plate in each photo.

It's like a game of poker, sometimes you get a good helpful hand, and most other times are just rubbish hands and you have to fold. What a joke.

Unfortunately, the others are right. I had the same problem a couple of months ago with my Dukes, lost a fully modded one, but R* kindly gave me a new one. (Albeit, without any mods. Although I did forget to tell them it was fully modded.) - Eventually you'll talk to someone who will help out (hopefully)

If they still won't give one, then sadly it seems like you're up a creek without a paddle.

I got the 'can not verify claim' message when I asked them to restore all the special shirts I lost (there was the Don't Stop Me mask and Christmas stocking too, as well as the parachute). I think I lost them during transfer, I never really used them so I didn't even notice until I wanted the Manhunt mask for something.

But yeah, the support section is getting really bad (it was terrible to begin with), they essentially just call you a liar and to you to f*ck off now.

Now?

I went through a 6 month dispute with them over a Roosevelt with proof of everything. They never gave it back or refunded. Jokes on them, I used the race glitch just to get my Roosevelt back.

Interesting.

If R* have no way of checking if your claim is fraudulent or legit, then how do they know for sure that a great number of people make fraudulent claims?

You won't be getting it back. They get millions of people pretending they lost garages of Super Cars all the time so they assume you're the same, just think at least you didn't lose your whole account

The same thing happened to me last year. In the end they told me if I kept asking for help on the issue, they'd remove the privilege to create support tickets. Really disappointing.

1. Buys shark card to afford office and warehouse

2. Stuff is gone

3. Rockstar claims it never happened

4. Shows proof

- Hey man, sorry but we have people making false claims everyday so we are just going to have to take your money and assume your claim is false as well.

Again we apologize.

Same thing happened to me back with the x80.

I think they auto deny first ticket. Follow up ticket gets auto denied but by an actual person, third ticket actually gets looked at and evaluated.

I got my cash for my x80 but I had to submit 3 times.
