Secondary Way:

Should you be successful, you will be invited to the crew. Kratos Defense & Security Solutions began as 'Wireless Facilities Incorporated', a company whose primary market was the building and support of the telecommunications infrastructure and networks. In 2004 the company's board of directors focused the company on providing professional services to the US Government, primarily the U.S. Department of Defense.
(For further information, click on the spoiler)

From 2004 to 2009, the company acquired several companies in the Federal Service business. Acquisitions included several small public safety firms and mid-sized professional services firms such as:

- JMA Associates (JMA)

- Madison Research (MRD): Provides engineering and information technology services to government and commercial customers, and is divided into five functional areas: Logistics Support, International Programs, Technology Initiatives, Engineering Support Services, Target Operations and Support

- Haverstick Consulting (Haverstick): Provides services to government agencies through engineering and program management, learning and transformation, government outsourcing, facilities operating and management, conference and event planning and technology "solutions"

- SYS Technologies (SYS): Provides information technology products (dopplerVUE and NeuralStar) and services and wireless communication systems for the United States Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security and various industrial customers.

- Digital Fusion, Inc (DFI)

- Pharmaceutical Company [Name Redacted]; Humane Labs and Research facility

However, it wasn't until September 2007, the company name was officially changed to Kratos Defense & Security Solutions to emphasize its new focus according to the ACCPV reports dated the 21st January 1989.
In late 2008, the KGS Segment was re-organized into four Divisions:

- 1. Technology and Training Solutions (TTS): Specializes in the three areas integral to operational transformation, network operations, applications consulting, and learning & performance.

- 2. Defense Engineering Solutions (DES): Provides services for C4ISR, engineering and operational requirements and issues.

- 3. Weapons Systems Solutions (WSS): Provides logistics, engineering and target operations support, rocket program services, technology initiatives, advanced weapon research and engineering and foreign military sales.

- 4. Public Safety and Security (PSS): The second largest independent systems integrator in the United States of life safety, security and surveillance systems for government and commercial applications

On July 15th, 2016, the company reinstated the land purchased just outside of Los Santos California dubbed The Chianski Passage; a two-way road in Blaine County that begins at Union Road and ends at the entrance to the Humane Labs and Research, which double acts as the PMC's main headquarters.

Article I. Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Code of Conduct

Section I.01 Basic Requirements of KDSS

Loyalty

Bear true faith and allegiance to the United States, Kratos, your unit, and other Soldiers. Bearing true faith and allegiance is a matter of believing in and devoting yourself to something or someone. A loyal Soldier is one who supports the leadership and stands up for fellow Soldiers. By wearing the uniform of Kratos, you are expressing your loyalty. And by doing your share, you show your loyalty to Kratos.

Duty

Fulfill your obligations. Doing your duty means more than carrying out your assigned tasks. Duty means being able to accomplish tasks as part of a team. The work of the Kratos is a complex combination of missions, tasks and responsibilities all in constant motion. Our work entails building one assignment onto another. You fulfill your obligations as a part of your unit every time you resist the temptation to take shortcuts that might undermine the integrity of the final product.

Respect

Treat people as they should be treated. Respect is what allows us to appreciate the best in other people. Respect is trusting that all people have done their jobs and fulfilled their duty. And self-respect is a vital ingredient with the Kratos value of respect, which results from knowing you have put forth your best effort. Kratos is one team and each of us has something to contribute.

Selfless Service

Put the welfare of Kratos and your subordinates before your own. Selfless service is larger than just one person. In serving your country, you are doing your duty loyally without thought of recognition or gain. The basic building block of selfless service is the commitment of each team member to go a little further, endure a little longer, and look a little closer to see how he or she can add to the effort.

Honor

Live up to Kratos values. Kratos' highest military award is The Distinguished Service Cross. This award goes to Soldiers who make honour and heroism a matter of daily living Soldiers who develop the habit of being honourable, and solidify that habit with every value choice they make. Heroism is a matter of carrying out, acting, and living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, selfless service, integrity and personal courage in everything you do.

Integrity

Do whats right, legally and morally. Integrity is a quality you develop by adhering to moral principles. It requires that you do and say nothing that deceives others. As your integrity grows, so does the trust others place in you. The more choices you make based on integrity, the more this highly prized value will affect your relationships with family and friends, and, finally, the fundamental acceptance of yourself.

Personal Courage

Face fear, danger or adversity (physical or moral). Personal courage has long been associated with Kratos. With physical courage, it is a matter of enduring physical duress and at times risking personal safety. Facing moral fear or adversity may be a long, slow process of continuing forward on the right path, especially if taking those actions is not popular with others. You can build your personal courage by daily standing up for and acting upon the things that you know are honorable.

Section I.02 The Oath of Kratos

I am a warrior of Kratos. I vow to defend the weak. And to punish those who prey upon the defenseless. I am here to complete my objective by any means necessary. I am ready to use force if needed. I vow to always obey the commands of my superiors. I promise to uphold the values of Kratos. All that I do will be in the best interests of Kratos. I will use my skills to protect those who I am responsible for against any threat, foreign or domestic, and be I unable to perform and asked to throw down my arms, I shall instruct those threats to come and get them. So help me God.

Section I.03 Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Code of Conduct Internal Stipulations

Friendly Fire: All KDSS contractors are not permitted to fire upon one another unless it is part of a training exercise or every other member agrees to shoot each other just for fun.

Any unauthorized friendly fire will be reported to the Quartermaster and may be subject to disciplinary action leading up to court martial and/or termination.

Internal Disputes: Any and all disputes among KDSS contractors must be addressed to the Quartermaster immediately.

Muting: Muting fellow Kratos members is strictly forbidden under all circumstances. If you have a problem with a member, report it to the Quartermaster ASAP.

Friends List: We ask that you have your friends list open, we require this to avoid external conflicts.

Uniforms: Contractors are to be in their correct uniform during all KDSS activities. We now run on a strike system, which means if you are not wearing your uniform and you are caught, you get a strike. When you get three strikes, you will be punished. Punishments vary from court martial to termination.

Standby Availability: All contractors are expected to be on standby for any mission or event that is scheduled, unless you absolutely cannot make it to that mission or event.

Non-Disclosure Order: At NO time are you allowed to discuss clan business (e.g. contracts, training sessions, etc.), forge/terminate alliances or start/end wars and/or clan battles without permission from a commissioned officer. Potential alliances must be recommended to the Affairs Officer. Potential wars and clan battles must be recommended to the Affairs Officer also.

Knowingly Violating The Rules: If at any time a contractor knows any of the rules are being broken, it must be reported to the Quartermaster immediately.

Section I.04 Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Code of Conduct Battlefield Stipulations

Enemy Combatants: Only fight enemy combatants unless a superior officer tells you otherwise. Do not engage unless fired upon. Respect and obey the rules and game set-ups of the enemy's server(s). Do not destroy more than what the mission requires. You have the right to use force to defend yourself against attacks or threats of attacks.

Common Courtesy: Respect other gangs and their property, unless they destroy your property. Do not invade or obstruct enemies topics with spam or anything that violates the rules of GTA Forums.

Modding: We do not condone the use of mods within clan battles or crew activities, however you can use them in your free time as long as they will not benefit you combat wise in the future.

Section I.05 Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Code of Conduct Requirements

Forum Activity: Kratos requires frequent activity on the GTA Forums. There may be correspondence from officers that may be required reading. Failure to be active may result in a denied pending application, or they will have to report to the Secretary who will make sure you're not purposely not posting.

Uniform and Vehicles: All Kratos Defense & Security Solutions members are expected to wear their respective uniforms and use their respective battalion vehicles during activities and wars.

General Activity: All Kratos Defense & Security Solutions members are expected to be active on GTA: Online and GTA Forums. If you are unable to be active because of issues in real life or you're just going away for a certain amount of time then report to the Secretary or expect termination due to inactivity.

We offer second chances if for example, something happens in real life that restricted you to report why.

Article II. Disciplinary Action

Section II.01 Warnings

Any and all rules that are broken are to be reported to the Secretary who will then give warning or will take disciplinary action towards the rule breaker.

Section II.02 Suspension

Suspension may be used against a member who fails to comply to the Code of Conduct. The time and parameters will be decided by the Secretary.

Section II.03 Court Martial

If serious action needs to be taken, after things such as friendly fire or failing to respond to orders, you will face a court comprised of the Board of Directors with the Secretary leading the jury. They will decide whether you're guilty or not, with proper action following the decision.

Section II.04 Dishonourable Discharge

If you are found to be breaking rules or are a threat to the welfare of Kratos then the Secretary will open a case and decide what action needs to be taken. If dishonourably discharged you must wait 1 month before you can put in another application. In the application you must knowingly state you were dishonourably discharged, if you fail to do this then it will be denied instantly. You will not be allowed to vote during meetings and you will not have a chance to apply to the Board of Directors.

Section II.05 Banishment / Exile

If you're found to be constantly breaking the rules, the Chairman or Secretary finds you to be a threat to Kratos then you can face risk of being exiled. Being exiled means you can not post on any of our forum pages or other websites. If more serious action needs to be taken we will ask all members to remove you and if they're found talking to you they can also be in risk of disciplinary action and may be charged with high treason.

Article III. Rank

Section III.01 Ranking System

The Kratos Defense & Security Solutions' ranking system can be found on the front forum page.

Rank Order and Structure: All contractors are to follow the rank structure and follow orders given by their superiors.

Section III.02 How to Rank Up

You can rank up through the following

-Recruiting and referring
-Participating in clan activities
-Participating in clan battles and wars
-Coming to open clan meetings
-Participating in clan training
-Being loyal to Kratos
-Taking on tasks assigned by higher ranks
-Showing outstanding skill on the battlefield
-Showing great team work

Section III.03 Line of Succession
The Line of Succession is the order of people who take over for the CEO in his absence. The order is as follows,
Chief Executive Officer
Secretary
Secretary of Defense
Security Consultant
Recruitment Officer
Event Coordinator
Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda

Section IV. Weapon/Vehicle Handling

Section IV.01 Kratos Weapons

You may use whatever weapon you feel comfortable with, unless if it is an RPG, Minigun or Grenade Launcher. If a rival crew uses them, you are free to use them if you are granted permission.

If you are in Recon Division, it's best to use the Heavy Sniper as it is the most powerful sniper.

When Kratos members are doing a contract, specific weapons will be used. They are: Pump Shotgun, SMG, Special Carbine, Combat MG, and the Heavy Sniper.
(See Weapons tab under the Vehicles tab for attachments).

Section IV.02 Kratos Vehicles

Kratos uses particular vehicles depending on which division your in. To see these vehicles go to Kratos' front page on the forums.

Article V. Board of Directors

Section V.01 Orders

You maybe a higher rank than someone on the Board of Directors but this does not give you the right to disobey or otherwise disrespect one of them. If a high rank official is found breaking the rules then the same action will be taken as the same as any rank.

All members of the Board of Directors are to be respected and acknowledged for their hard working roles within Kratos.

Section V.02 Joining the Board of Directors

If a position becomes available and you wish to fill the opening, you can message the Secretary or CEO. Upon doing so you will be tasked with a job that falls under the respective position and you will be evaluated by the Secretary and CEO of to decide if you are worthy and active to take up the role.

Section V.03 Voting

The Board of Directors votes on matters to make the clan better, everybody on the Board has a vote, but must be present at the time of voting for it to count otherwise there vote is invalid. There are 9 Board of Directors in Kratos, two thirds of the Board must be present for a matter to be passed. If there is a case that all positions are not filled the two third rule still applies.

Article VI. Free Roam

Section VI.01 Behavior

At the end of the day Kratos realizes that this is just a video game, however we clearly state that we are a role play clan and a serious one. We still believe strongly that our members should have fun. This means in free roam you are representing Kratos. When with the clan in free roam, you are to have your respective uniform and vehicles. When in a match with other Kratos members you are not permitted to kill them, unless each member agrees to that the session is just for messing around. If a member is being repeatedly killed by another member then they should clearly and respectfully ask to no longer be killed. If they persist then report them to the Secretary.

Section VI.02 Training

When in a training session you must completely follow the Code of Conduct and never kill another member unless the highest ranking official gives you permission. Always follow the commands of the training officer and act serious. Whether it be just a warning or killing them to remove them from the area. He can do this if he feels like a court martial is unnecessary.
All official training's organised must have a weeks notice before happening. They cannot be randomly created by anyone. The Director of Training must have a message out via the forums a week prior to the training so all miners have a chance to notify if they cannot make it. The Director of Training is to only approve battalion training's, not organize them, that is the job of the battalion leaders.

Article VII. Code of War

Section VII.01 Starting a War

Two crew Session- Accessed from single player online menu. This option allows you to only let 2-4 crews in that session. This is great for when you only want a crew vs. crew battle without friends of friends joining who aren't in the crew.

Invite Only Session- A crew will have time to set-up and prepare a base if they want one. The enemy crew is then invited.

In the two previous types, the leaders will have time to set-up rules that apply such as limiting explosives, weapons, or vehicles.

The following type has no restrictions other than no glitching/hacking.

Invasion- There are two ways to invade.

Option A. A crew leader messages another crew declaring war on that crew. That crew then has up to five(5) days to invade or else the invasion fails. EXAMPLE: Crew A messages Crew B declaring war, Crew A then proceeds to track down Crew B and get in a session with them. During the five days you can join in session or use any other method to get to the Crew. Once either an invasion happens or the five days (whichever comes first) the declaration of war is over, and that crew is either victorious or defeated.

Option B. A crew member is able to join an enemy crews session via join in session, message, or friend request. This is a surprise since no one declared war. This option usually follows someone leaving a crew or forming their own crew.

Section VII.02 War

Each side can have no more than 15 players fighting on their side. Including allied crews.

You can not be inside your garage or apartment for more than five(5) minutes then those individuals will be declared dead and no longer apart of the war.

Rules limiting weapons, and vehicles must be established BEFORE a war begins. If one of these rules is broken then both the crew leaders must talk and decide to overlook the rule broken or follow it.

Section VII.03 Sportsmanship

There is no hard rule for or against sportsmanship but it is encouraged. Some examples include: Not spawn killing someone with a tank or jet over and over, not killing people in passive mode, congratulating on a win, and admitting defeat.

Section VII.04 Passive mode

You can only turn on passive mode if you are getting excessively killed by a tank or other vehicle or you wish to end the game.

If you stay in passive mode longer than five minutes you shall be declared dead and no longer apart of the war.

Section VII.05 Ending War

War ends when any TWO (2) of these criteria are met by either crew.

More than half of a crew in passive mode

Over 100 kills claimed on a crew (Must have evidence via pictures or videos)

Crew Base Overrun (If a base was established ie. Bio Labs, Power Station, Paleto Bay, etc.)

Time limit is reached (default invasion time limit is two hours, crew leaders may extend the time if both crew agree to it)

When you end a war it is highly suggested that you keep record either by recording or taking pictures in order to give you evidence proving your win.

Section VII.06 Rules for Allies in the War

If allies of a crew join the war, the allies must be informed of and follow the rules set by the crew leaders. The allied crews who join are subjected to the very same rules mentioned here.

The ally crew can't have more members in the game than the crew they are helping. Example- If you have 5 people in your crew, then you can't have more than 5 allies join your game.

You may not have more than eight members of your crew or allies present in a single war.

If an ally crew who doesn't follow this code, joins a crew who does recognize this code, they must be informed of and follow the code.

Disclaimer: ALL KRATOS MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO FULLY READ AND UNDERSTAND THE CODE OF CONDUCT. WHEN SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION, YOU ARE AUTOMATICALLY ADMITTING TO READING THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PLEAD INNOCENT TO ANY CHARGES UNLESS THE CODE OF CONDUCT HAS BEEN READ. THE Secretary ATTAINS ALL RIGHTS TO CHANGE THE CODE OF CONDUCT IF NEEDED. MEMBERS SHOULD RE-READ OVER MULTIPLE TIMES SO THEY CAN SEE THE CHANGES.
