Gta online is on normal, what would change the difficulty?

If online was currently set on normal difficulty, what changes would be made if it was set on hard/easy?

 

My picks:

 

Hard mode, cops would have the strength and accuracy as the enemies do in the VIP mission head hunter.

 

Hard mode, deposits can only be made at an atm.

 

Easy mode, able to buy/sell crates from the phone.

 

Easy mode, no radar/GPS to locate players. only objective blips giving you the general direction of where you need to go during missions.

Hard mode - How about not being able to store a minigun, rpg, etc. in your pocket?

Also 6th star is the military coming after you with jets, tanks, insurgents and hunters

And they are armed with rail guns, homing launchers and also miniguns.

 

Also every vehicle you steal has a build in tracking device

 

 

And you will only be armed with a switch knife...also if you pick up weapons they will disapear unless you can get them in your gunsafe.

 

The only weapons in ammu nation are semi auto pistols with mediocre power and non explosive single shot weapons

Hard difficulty:

 

Tanks are buffed to pre-nerf levels, jets no longer have explosive rounds, homing launcher's nerfed to the point where anything can dodge it (even helis).

 

Easy:

 

Tanks only take one RPG, jets and helicopters can lock onto people on foot with their missiles, the homing launcher is buffed to a point where nothing can dodge it, even jets.

Hard mode: You get money and RP for killing players, but you lose money and RP when killed by a player

X1.5 RP and GTA$ for completing Freemode Events, VIP Work and VIP Challenges

All Contact Missions and Heists are locked at hard

No buying ammo through inventory

Mechanic can only deliver a car once a day (Executive Assistant ignores this rule on purpose)

Slightly more health and armor

Cops can now arrest you, taking a huge ammo penalty, but a small fine

Getting wasted now costs 5000 GTA$ and spawn you at the nearest hospital unless killed by a player

Organizations now have friendly fire locked at ON

Hard mode: One star wanted levels attracts cops with railguns. Three star attracts cop Mavericks with railgun-equipped side gunners. All cops get pinpoint accuracy and headhunter target health.

Hard mode: Jet griefers can hit you in passive.

 

Easy mode: You can kill passive players with your jet.

What would change the difficulty, not what would change if I moved to PC or LG. Lol

 

Hard mode, you can now be mugged for all the money you are carrying.

 

Easy mode, no more impounded vehicles.

 

Hard mode, no more locks on PV, players can steal other players vehicles but can't keep them, only drive them around and control them for the duration of the lobby or until they leave the vehicle.

 

Awesome mode, no more EWO heroes. EWO is now only available in buildings, also passive is now unavailable while operating any armed vehicle.

I'd "buff" cops. They aren't annoying enough...

I'd remove anything like Hydra, Savage, Minigun, RPG, etc from players. We need a "light" game, more realistic, more fun. What is the point: you bring a pistol, he brings a minigun, you bring one, he brings a rhino, you bring a rhino, he brings a hydra. Seriously, not fun. IMHO, they really need to stop making this game for kids, and start making something really focused on its name "Grand Theft Auto". It would be a LOT more competitive, a LOT more fun.

 

The rule is basic, and the same: more realistic>harder>players undergo a poor-skill time>players get better>the game become more competitive.

 

Imagine just a bit, with me:

If you only had a knife and a pistol, with limited ammo. At first, you surely won't shot every cop or person you see. Second, you'd think about your actions. And third, you'd act according to what you have.

 

Seriously: this is not a WAR game, stop adding WAR things.

That's how everyone started, With a pistol. we couldn't shoot every cop we seen because we didn't have the ammo. Now players do have the ammo... and they act accordingly by using all the fire power they earned. Tanks were apart of the wanted level a few gta games ago, consider yourself lucky you only have to worry about other players using the tank and not the cops too.

That's how everyone started, With a pistol. we couldn't shoot every cop we seen because we didn't have the ammo. Now players do have the ammo... and they act accordingly by using all the fire power they earned. This was a mistake made by them on old GTA games. Military forces can not be actived to pursuit a single person.

 

You start with a pistol, you "work", you get money, buy houses, cars (and still, there are a lot of things those could be bought and unfortunately weren't implemented yet), and...a Jet Fighter? How? If the estate can not counter your power, why it would allow you to buy that? For example, IRL, you can not have an airplane with mounted guns, even from WW2.

 

This game is out of boundaries. Really.

 

The fun of having everything is nothing, exactly nothing compared to how funny is to grind things, and the way you do it... to have a decent game, more realistic. I own everything on GTA:O currently, and the thrill is simply gone. I did not had any fun grinding them too, simply because it was, too generic, too silly...the missions, the everything.

 

Give a kid a toy car, he/she will have fun. Give an adult a car, he/she will have fun. Understand this and you'll understand what I mean here.

Seriously: this is not a WAR game, stop adding WAR things.

Tanks have been in GTA since the beginning, GTA VC introduced the Hunter, GTA SA added Hydras, GTA IV introduced the Buzzard, and EFLC had an APC, including a dozen or so weapons all with exploding rounds. This IS GTA, GTA is not realistic, and people should remember that, but you're probably too young to remember, or never played since the beginning.

Wow no one said no regenerating health for hard mode?

 

That will be the first thing I'll take from the player.

 

For easy, unlimited snacks, health regenerates to 100%.

 

I don't think I'll tweak AI much for hard considering no regenerating health.

Couple of things that would change everything...

 

- No Radar/Map to see other players

- No HUD

- No player names displayed above other characters

- No aim lock on consoles

- When you die, you lose all weapons collected

I think I saw it in another thread where they referenced Red Dead Redemption having a hardcore mode that was done relatively well? If so, I'd love that in GTA:O rather than free aim/free aim-assisted & Auto aim/partial auto.

Job payouts are nerfed back to day 1 and you have to pay taxes on all your assests.

Hard Mode: You're only armed with a regular pistol and you always have a 5 star wanted level. You can't enter any of the properties that you own and you will permanently lose any of your PV's should they get destroyed or impounded. You can not use any of your pegasus vehicles, you can not use armor & snacks, and the only ammo that you can get is pistol ammo that the police will almost never drop upon their death. You can never replenish your health and should you die, your character gets deleted as well as you get permanently banned from GTAO for eternity.

 

Easy Mode: Everyone has billions of dollars, cops never spawn, you can never die, and everything is free.

Just reset it to the days before cash cards, powerful dlc weapons for people who had not earned them via rank and when police response was actually moderate and related you your crimes, and you could actually evade them by line of sight and lose your wanted stars (duck behind wall, in skip or in a bush) . Yes this was what it was like for a short golden time in the earliest days of GTA online. Such potential

Hard mode, you are now restricted to only ten lives a day.

 

Hard mode, no insurance if your PV gets destroyed it's gone.

 

Easy mode, permission must now be given to a random who is trying to engage you. Kinda like a 1v1 invite but if you decline no interactions can be made and you will continue to be ghosted to each other.
