GTA IV Special Vehicle Guide

Recommended Posts

BoomyJohnny

I'd probably shoot myself before I do that. :miranda:

For the new Pony in Liquidizing the Assets, what very VISIBLE and good looking Luster can spawn on it? I usually like very bright ones that you can see very clearly. USUALLY those are Red Colors, but sometimes Blues, Greens, Oranges, and Yellows stand out, too...

12 - makes it glow, nothing special; 41 - gives light pink glow; 48 - brighter glow; 64 - navy blue glow

I have finally finished a v1.1 of the Table for Updating the Guide after sacrificing a lot of real life activities..

In general, I LOVE GTA IV and WOULD play it much more than I have, but when I play, I do EACH GTA like the rest. Always to 100% Completion, Minimum Stats, and Special Vehicles. Also to have a Starter Save for each GTA, too. However, when it comes to IV, the Starter Save is horrendous and actually challenging. Furthermore, the game itself is long and slightly boring with 94 Story Missions, plus a whole bunch of other Side Missions that become boring and repetitive...Like 200 Pigeons, 50 Stunt Jumps, 30 Most Wanted, 20 Vigilante, 30 Stevie Car Thefts, 10 Brucie Exotic Exports, 9 Assassination Missions, etc, etc...Most Wanted, Vigilante, and Assassinations are practically identical, as is Stevie Car Thefts and Brucie Exotic Exports. Then on top of all the samey-repetitive-ness, you have very long and annoying, tedious tasks like Pigeons and Stunt Jumps. THAT is why I AM putting myself through the torture of doing such a Starter Save since any time in the future I want to do more Saves (always to 100% as I said above, etc, etc, etc), I NEVER have to do a single Pigeon or Stunt Jump again. To reach 100%, it'll be quicker and less boring, which will actually make me sort of enjoy IV more than I have. Knowing that I had to do Pigeons every time I would want to do a Save and gather up another 10 Special Vehicles was a nightmare to think about and put me off from this game. But now that I will have some of these tasks done with FOREVER, I can always use the Starter Save and start at 11.95% rather than 0.00% and with a lot of annoyances taken care of already.

The really good thing is, since I can get the Annihilator from doing 200 Pigeons early in the beginning, I can probably obtain that EC White and Black Stripe Maverick from Paper Trail. It's one of the hardest Special Vehicles in IV, however, I won't be obtaining it in my 2nd Save File I start in the coming week or two. I will save it for a 3rd or 4th Save File in the future...

I just can't wait to finish Pigeons...49 more to go!!!! :D:p

BoomyJohnny, I salute you, your skills in reading the Mission Script and making the Spreadsheet are a huge help and with your help I can now EASILY edit up the Guide properly without me needing to go over every Special Vehicle in IV and seeing the Colors via the Save Editor, as I did for TLaD and TBoGT... Seriously! Thanks a lot!

Also, isn't there another second PC-exclusive EC Infernus that you get after doing the Bernie Missions?

I know the Silver Grill is a Variation thing, the "EC Silver Grill" will be removed from the terminology in the Guide and will just say Silver Grill. The Schafters are confusing as f*ck though... The Lustered Schafter with EC Rims in Politics TLaD confused me and I obtained it a lot of times, thus making the first steps on finally realizing how "Random Lusters" work.

In TLaD there's a Schafter with Russian Gang Bumpers and Civilian Silver Grill... I call the Schafter Russian if it has Russian Bumpers. Normal Russian Schafters have a Black Grill.

So... Is that EC Random Tuner Oracle truly a useless normal Vehicle, not Special at all? That's the only thing that's bothering me a lot.

Also, you may want to check all other appearances of the Roman's Taxi, maybe one of them is EC in another way.

If you want you can do the same thing for TLaD and TBoGT too... I understand how hard it was for you to accomplish making that Spreadsheet, thus I seriously salute you!

EDIT: I've redone the List and made a mess there because I don't know which Schafters are Russian and which aren't. I don't know which Sentinels are Mafia and which aren't. I don't know which PMP 600s are Mafia and not etc. I also renamed the "EC ... and Lustered" to "EC/Lustered ..."

ALSO! Be careful as some EC Black Stuff can be EC2 where the 2nd Color is INVISIBLE, but the first Color is not Special, making it visually not EC. Thus you need to know which parts of the Vehicle is Color 2, Color 4 etc.

I don't know which Schafters are Russian and which aren't.

I don't know which Sentinels are Mafia and which aren't.

I don't know which PMP 600s are Mafia and not.

The Schafter's Bumper UNDER the Grill determines if it's Russian or Civilian. Russian is pointy and sticks out a bit farther. Civilian is rounded and doesn't stick out as far.

Sentinels are easy. Mafia has a Spoiler and "Bars/Plates" over the back window, sort of like how Sentinel XS's look in the 3D Era. Civilian has no Spoiler or anything covering the back window.

PMP 600's are easy, too. Mafia have a different Grill (NOT Hybrid, though) than Civilian and Mafia have a small Spoiler. Civilian PMP 600's have no Spoiler and different Grill.

I know how to distinguish them, I just mean that I don't know which is which in the IV Special Vehicle List, and which Schafter can be "Half-Russian" (Russian with Silver Grill)...

Anyways, here's a full list on which Lusters are good and Special for your IV 2nd Save Vehicles:

Lustered Black Speedo - speedo - 9,9,9, 11,11,11, 1,1,2, 13,13,13, 23,23,3, 68,68,68, 31,31,31, 36,36,36, 41,41,41, 48,48,48, 55,55,55, 57,57,57, 64,64,64, 71,71,71, 77,77,77, 90,90,90, 104,104,104, 106,106,104, 0,0,1, 4,4,4,

Not Special Lusters - All are basically Special because the Vehicle is 0,0 Body Color, but in case the 2nd Color is not visible, then the Not Special Lusters would be - 1 (Black Poly).

Note - All Lusters above have a 4th Color of 133 (Very White), I don't know if the first Sultan can spawn in the Mission, but if it can then it would have a 83 Luster (Bright Blue Poly) with a 90 Fourth Color (Race Yellow Solid).

i was on the process on doing this.

but that is more detailed than what I was working on :beerhat:

I know how to distinguish them, I just mean that I don't know which is which in the IV Special Vehicle List, and which Schafter can be "Half-Russian" (Russian with Silver Grill)...

i just categorically put it/them as. Type 1, type 2, and so on.. same as the PMP 600s. also, I tagged Faustin's Schafter as a different Schafter because it has no other duplicate. It looks like a typical Russian Schafter but it has color #4 and a set luster.

Can the Lustered Black Sentinel with EC Black Rims spawn in 0,1,50 (Mafia Sentinel Color Scheme) before having the Body Colors changed to 0,0? We now know for sure how Randomly Lustered Vehicles spawn and why they exist, but can they spawn in Gang Colors, thus having the Luster which is only on Gang Vehicles in Traffic?

Good question. Any particular one you are referring to? I'm almost certain that they are 0,0 when they spawn as the command sets it to 0,0 when the mission generates (during cutscenes) the vehicle.

The Guide doesn't mention actually after what Mission at the earliest convenience can you start converting the Special Vehicles into AP form. It's after "Out of the Closet" for Brucie when you can start going on Love-Meet.net and Craplist.net to date Alex, Carmen, or Kiki and convert the Special Vehicles to AP. I believe Michelle and Kate also work, but don't quote me on that.

Anyways, only 29 more Pigeons in my Starter Save and I am done with it and can take some Photos! :) Wednesday it'll be done...

Not today, but NEXT Monday is when I start my 2nd Save File!

As you can see from the Stats comparing the "Time Wanted on 6 Stars" and "Total Playing Time," HALF of the entire Starter Save requires you to be wanted, lol...

The longest Run I did with 6 Stars would of been when I was doing Pigeons yesterday. I was able to do 25 in a row in Alderney and that was the 58:39 Run you see in the "Crimes" Tab.

The only (VERY MINOR) issue with my Starter Save is how I have in the "Player" Tab "First Aid Collected: 1." This isn't exactly an issue, but it's easy to keep it at 0, so why not? Just don't pick up any Health. When you save the game, you get FULL Health back, so it's pointless to pick up any First Aid Kits and only rely on Armor Pickups. I picked a First Aid Kit up by accident way back in 2016 when I first started work on this Starter Save, but no way would I redo it just for this Stat, which as I said, it's very minor...

Anyways, I will start my 2nd Save File on Monday! :)

GTA IV 2nd Save File Special Vehicles:

AP/Lustered Speedo, AP/Lustered Sultan, AP/Lustered NRG 900, AP/Lustered Cognoscenti, AP/Lustered Sentinel with EC Rims, AP/Lustered Mafia Sentinel, AP/Lustered Mafia PMP 600 with Hybrid Grill, AP/Lustered Huntley Sport, AP/Lustered Russian Schafter with EC Grill, AP/Lustered Russian Rebla

First Special Vehicle on my List is a wonderful, slow, useless Van like a Pony, however, it will look fabulous in a Luster I choose and eventually converted to AP, of course! :D:p

Good job with Starter Save. And good luck with the rest of a save.

As you probably saw already I've obtained Unique Stockade and EC Bright Red Biff at the same time, so I can move further. But next vehicle in the guide is Schafter from Undertaker. What is special? Is it a Russian Schafter or a normal one? I don't want to confuse my viewers.

Thanks! The greatest achievements I have done in GTA, imo, are my SA Starter Save, 1st SA 100% Save File, and this IV Starter Save! The three hardest things I've done. All the other Starter Saves, 100% Saves, and Special Vehicles are quite basic these days for me...

Yeah, that was incredible! I watched the Video yesterday and didn't actually know that the EC Biff would REMAIN in the Booth Tunnel. I thought if you would travel far away from it and not look at it, it would disappear, but apparently, it's scripted to remain there in the Booth Tunnel until either pass/fail, thus allowing you to get both the EC Biff and the Unique Police Stockade at the same time while PASSING the Mission! Good Method, good Video. Seriously, it's great people are finally paying attention to IV, TLaD, and TBoGT...

Well, the Unique Romero is in Undertaker as is 2 EC/Lustered (?) Primos, I believe, so you can work on those before the Schafter if you want. However, it's probably a regular Schafter with EC Black Rims, but I would need to open a Video on Youtube up and see the Bumpers. The Bumpers are what makes it Russian/Civilian and if you can tell them apart, then you can tell for yourself. Go to TLaD Special Vehicle Guide and check SpriteFan274's Photos of Gang War Special Vehicles. He shows a Photo of a Russian Schafter and a Civilian Schafter and by looking at the Bumpers, that is how you tell them apart.

Not from GTA IV, but these Schafters are found in all the IV Era GTA's:

Civilian:

vdgLFlw.jpg

Russian:

Y9jv9ce.jpg

Just look at the Bumpers. The Civilian Schafter has a rounded, shorter Bumper. The Russian Schafter has a pointy, longer Bumper...

Russian Schafters USUALLY have a Black Grill and Black Poly Rims. While the SPECIAL ones (in terms of IV) have a Silver Grill and possible EC Black Rims. They can sometimes be Lustered, too. But yeah, not ALL the Schafters in this game are Russian or Civilian. You will need to look at the actual Vehicle itself when you obtain it and see if it's Civilian or Russian. Luckily any Gang Variant of the Sentinel, PMP 600, Rebla, Oracle, and Futo are really easy to tell apart. It's just Schafters that are very similar, but subtle differences...

Schafter from Master and the Molotov - EC Black Schafter - 0,1,5,6 - Variant 1 - Black Body Color with Black Poly Rims and a Special Set Winning Silver Poly Luster Color, Body and Rim Color only found on Russian Schafters, but the Luster makes it fully EC, unique fourth Color though it's invisible (EC4), not Russian and has Silver Grill

Schafter from Easy as Can Be - EC/Lustered Black Schafter (with EC Black Rims) - 0,0,RL,0 - Variant ? - Black Body Color with EC Black Rims, random Luster

Schafter from Undetaker - EC Black Schafter (with EC Black Rims)?????? - 0,0,8,0 - Variant ? - Black Body Color with EC Black Rims and a Special Set Silver Stone Poly Luster (I need to have a Photo of it....)

Schafter from Pegorino's Pride - EC/Lustered Black Schafter (with EC Black Rims) - 0,0,RL,0 - Variant 1 - Black Body Color and EC Black Rims, random Luster, not Russian and has Silver Grill

Schafter from A Revenger's Tragedy (Deal) - Lustered Russian Schafter with Silver Grill (and EC Black Rims) - 0,0,RL,? - Variant ? - Black Body Color and EC Black Rims (?), random Luster, Russian and has Silver Grill, Body Color is not EC for the Russian Schafter

So wait a minute, the ONLY Russian Schafters in this entire game are the ones in A Revenger's Tragedy, final Story Mission (Deal Ending)?! Holy sh*t...

I thought there would be more, but I guess all others that are found in this game are the regular Civilian Schafters with a Set Luster and EC Black Rims, thus "EC Schafters" or "EC Schafters with EC Black Rims."

So this makes the Lustered Russian Schafter with Silver Grill and EC Black Rims the best one of them all, imo, and only found in the final Story Mission if you pick the Deal Ending. Meanwhile, previously, they were all listed as "Russian Schafters with EC Silver Grills." Some Lustered, some not...Lol...

Actually, 3 out of the 10 Special Vehicles in my List will be coming from the final Story Mission in the game for the Deal Ending, A Revenger's Tragedy. Lustered Huntley Sport with EC Stripe, Lustered Russian Schafter with Silver Grill and EC Black Rims, and Lustered Russian Rebla. All 3 will be obtained with passing the Mission at the same time. Easy. You just kill all the guys around the battle zone. Drive the Schafter and Rebla to a Parking Space as the doors are unlocked. Come back and push the Huntley Sport to a Parking Space as the doors are locked. Then come back and finish the Mission and once passed, confirm them after the Mission is over.

I need a close Photo of the Undertaker Schafter, from both Undertaker Missions. Maybe that one is a Russian Schafter with Silver Grill too, who knows... But not the Photo from the Cutscene, I need a Photo of it seen from Gameplay.

Yeah, the Deal Ending Schafter is the best one of them all. Lustered Black Russian Schafter with EC Black Rims and Silver Grill.

All Traffic Schafters with the Black Body Color are EC Black, but the Russian Schafters are not EC Black because they spawn in Black Body Color. Thus I need to call the TLaD Schafter a EC/Lustered Black Schafter (with EC Black Rims).

The Silver Grill is not a Colorable thing, it's not a Color, it's just the name for the Grill... Thus it's not EC... I called it a EC Grill before as a mistake, but it's not a Colorable Object on the Vehicle. It's just a Variant/Variation thing.

Interesting about the Grill...Another words, another "Hybrid Grill." Like the PMP 600's which are a cross between a regular PMP 600 and a Mafia PMP 600, the Russian Schafters with Silver Grills are almost like a Hybrid Grill, as usually it's Black for traffic Russian Schafters but not for these specific ones in Missions. These have the Hybrid Grill of being Silver...

IV Special Vehicle Confirmations are starting now! Every single Special Vehicle must be seen in Save Editor! I will use BoomyJohnny's Spreadsheet as reference and as a huge help (to also maybe find Lustered Vehicles), but I need to physically confirm them and call them properly, to also solve the Schafter Problem that the IV Trilogy has.

I also added what each Color means (Body Color, Rims, Siding, Luster etc.)

1 - The Cousins Bellic:

Unique/EC Black Roman's Taxi

Black - 0 - Body Color
Black - 0 - Siding
Black Poly - 1 - Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 0

rom, 0,104,8, 26,26,8, 34,34,33, 19,19,12, 21,21,12,

Comments - It's EC! First Color is found in Pay'n'Spray though, but the Black Siding makes it Special as the whole Combination can't be found anywhere, but in the first Mission.

EC Black Esperanto

Black - 0 - Body Color
Black - 0 - Unknown
Black Poly - 1 - Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 0

esperanto, 20,20,18, 16,16,15, 7,7,15, 1,1,8, 26,26,8, 34,34,33, 40,40,39, 50,50,51, 52,52,51, 57,57,57, 65,65,68, 82,82,80, 97,97,97, 111,111,110, 2,2,63, 21,21,72, 22,22,72, 13,11,91, 19,19,93,

Comments - It's EC, the Siding is EC also which is Black Poly, though the Black Body Color is found in Pay'n'Spray. Same one is found in Three's a Company.

EC Beige Willard with EC Beige Door Interior

Silver Poly - 15 - Body Color
Silver Poly - 15 - Unknown (Door Interior)
Black Poly - 1 - Luster

*** Late Edit: Color 2 is the Door Interior and it's Visible and EC on this Willard. Check the 2nd EC Willard for more information about this Door Interior.

Comments - Not EC. The second Color is invisible, but if the second and first Color were visible, then it would be EC. The Silver Body Color is found in Traffic, but the Combination of Silver and Invisible Black makes it EC2.

Comments - EC Body Colors and Body Color Variation. Random Luster.

Boomy, how'd you get the 12 and 50 Lusters? It's not in the Carcols.dat...

11 - Ivan the Not So Terrible:

EC/Lustered White and Dark Grey Blista Compact also appears in this Mission in the same Colors as the one in Clean Getaway. This time I got Black Poly (1) and Oxford White Solid (92) Lusters on it. Luster Theory still stands.

EC/Lustered Black and Yellow Ruiner with EC White or Gold Rims

Black - 0 - Body Color
Taxi Yellow - 89 (RGB checked) - Stripes and Wing Mirrors
Med.Flax - 94 // Pastel Alabaster Solid - 61 // Silver Stone Poly - 8 // Taxi Yellow - 89 - RANDOM Luster
Race Yellow Solid - 90 // Very White - 133 // Very White - 133 // Race Yellow Solid - 9 - RANDOM Rims Color
Variant - 132 // 164 // 164 // 40 - Random Traffic Variants

ruiner, 6,0,5,133, 0,90,94,90, 1,1,81,133, 7,7,61,133, 10,7,2,133, 11,0,8,133, 13,0,8,133, 16,17,8,133, 35,1,90,133, 36,4,27,133, 54,1,54,133, 56,50,51,133, 60,50,60,133, 65,77,63,133, 68,70,63,133, 70,70,63,133, 78,73,63,133, 90,90,89,90, 102,90,89,90,

Comments - First Color is found in Streets, but the Taxi Yellow Stripes make the whole Vehicle EC. This is like the "Unique/Lustered Slamvan with EC Random Rims" in TBoGT, the Fourth Color also changes and the Fourth Color are the Rims.

So whatever Ruiner you get from the Mission, it's Special... But... Traffic 0,90,94,90 makes the Rims look like they're not EC, however, due to the SAME Luster that the Ruiner can get, only the Stripes would be EC, thus making the Rims not EC by a human-view-point.

Another thing. If the spawned Ruiner is the Traffic 102,90,89,90 OR Traffic 90,90,89,90 and from the Mission it gets the 0,89 Mission Scripted Body Colors, then it would be a 0,89,89,90... The Rims would be EC in this Combination, and the Luster is Yellow too. Thus making this Ruiner the best that you can get in the Mission.

All White Rims would be fully EC as there is no Black Body Color Combination with the White Rims. The Stripe Color is fully Unique and can't be found in the Streets.

Conclusion - All White Rimmed Ruiners you get in the Mission are a "EC/Lustered Black and Yellow Ruiner with EC White Rims". If you get a Yellow Rimmed Ruiner, then the one with the Yellow Luster is a "EC/Lustered Black and Yellow Ruiner with EC Yellow Rims", but if it has a Med.Flax Luster then it's just a "EC Black and Yellow Ruiner" because the Yellow Stripe is the only thing Special on it compared to the Traffic Black and Different-Yellowish Ruiner.

EDIT: Changed the Yellow Rims Name to Gold Rims for the Ruiner.

Keep going! :D:p

@10:45 you see a Black Sultan with a kind of Red Luster........I think. Has anyone checked this out to see if it's yet another Special Vehicle that is missed? Maybe even the other Sultan, however, that one might be the Lustered Silver Sultan already in the Guide, but I am not sure. Unlike TLaD/TBoGT where I practically memorized all the Missions and what Vehicles spawn whether they are special or not, I have not done the same for IV and actually can't remember most of the Missions in this game as there is 7X more in IV compared to TLaD/TBoGT. So I sort of have a feeling that perhaps MORE NEW Special Vehicles will be found. Although, if this IS a Lustered Black Sultan, then it's the second instance as there is another one from Easy as Can Be. If you can get it from Pegorino's Pride, I believe you can pass the Mission to get this. Also, if you watch that Video until the end, you can see him driving this Sultan for a brief moment. You can even see the guy go back to the "battle zone" and all the Pavano's are still around shooting, lol...Also all of their Cars are parked around, too...Maybe others are special? Either way, ALL Story Missions need to be checked over with a fine tooth comb and NOT ONLY what is listed in the Guide, but other stuff as well...

Boomy, how'd you get the 12 and 50 Lusters? It's not in the Carcols.dat...

that's a typo.. it was supposed to be 12,56 for the DF8-90 from my old table.. and the df8 is not 35,50 but 35,56.. i got so far 0,12,35,56,90 from that.. as for that blista compact i got 1,33

as for the Ruiner; (same as huntley sport)

the 3rd and 4th color come as a pair, i.e. the color of the rims (stripe for huntley) you get depends on the luster you get.

Mission scripts look like this:

1st - Spawn vehicle

2nd - Set color #1 and #2 --- this is missing for non-EC vehicles

3rd - Set color #3 and #4 (for set lusters) --- this line is missing for Lustered... so the game chooses from the colors in carcols.dat by random

4th - Set Variations (Mods,Tuning) --- but i can't understand this because I can't pin point what the variables represent

Well, since it's a CIVILIAN Schafter clearly by looking at it from the Video, it's EC Black since only Russian Schafters can be Black Body Color, not Civilian. It's probably Lustered, too, BUT since it's a SET LUSTER, it's still just as a whole EC. Not EC/Lustered. It would only be EC/Lustered if the Luster changed and was Random when you reload. It also looks to have EC Black Rims, too. So like all the other Schafters up to this point, they are EC Black with a Set Luster (Not Always the Same) and EC Black Rims. The only Russian Schafter in IV apparently is found in the final Story Mission when you pick Deal. A Revenger's Tragedy. All others are Civilian...

About those Primos...To me, it looks like they are just EC...If they have a Luster, it looks like they are SET LUSTERS, thus the entire Vehicle is just EC all together rather than EC/Lustered since the Lusters probably are not generated every time you do the Mission. I could be wrong, though...

You can always check the Colors and stuff yourself in the Hazard Editor. We all use it for IV, TLaD, and TBoGT for confirming this stuff...That, and Carcols.dat File...

Okay so the Undertaker Schafter is a EC Black Schafter with EC Black Rims. It's EC Black Body Color because it's not a Russian Schafter. Still, are BOTH Undertaker Variations the same Schafter? Both Undertaker Variation as in Francis' and Derrick's Funerals.

zazaza, all your Videos along with Vivid's will be in the Guide, it's really awesome how you obtained the EC Bright Red Biff and Unique Police Stockade at the same time, same with the two EC/Lustered Primos, Unique Romero and this EC Schafter. I'm sorry how your Video Titles are wacky at the moment as the IV Special Vehicle Confirmation is still work in progress. Just give me time until this and the Guide Writing is complete.

Still, it seems like the best Schafter in the Game is the Lustered Black Russian Schafter with EC Black Rims and Silver Grill.

The Primos seem Lustered, and if they are, they would have a changing Color 4!!!

I think that the ONLY way to obtain the EC Maverick from Paper Trails is to push it in the Parking Spot as a Wreck, and then quickly select a Phone Replay to teleport from the Place, so the EC Maverick doesn't disappear... Wrecks disappear IMMEDIATELY as soon as they touch the Parking Spot Zone.

2.) Primo Red

3.) Primo Blue - Both are EC/Lustered..

4.) Romero

5.) Washington - EC

the washington though (see image).. 0,0,8 (EC - Undertaker, Stevie and To Live and Die in Alderney) vs 0,0,12 (traffic)

There is a 5th Special Vehicle in the Mission, yeah, but this Washington can be obtained from Stevie's Car Thefts, which is unlocked a bit later on in the Story. This Washington appears at least two or three times in the game to obtain, so I wouldn't worry about it...

I am pretty sure ALL 30 of Stevie's Car Thefts are EC in some way, shape, or form. Perhaps some are even Lustered. Same with Brucie's Exotic Exports. I am pretty sure ALL 10 of those are EC in some way, shape, or form as well as some Lustered, etc...

So in total (30 + 10), there is 40 Special Vehicles literally just given to you...

If you wanted to, you could get to 95.00% Completion WITHOUT doing Brucie's Exotic Exports or Stevie's Car Thefts for 100% Completion and make FOUR Saves with 10 each and make them AP, lol...40 AP Vehicles across 4 Saves and all the Vehicles from Brucie's Exotic Exports and Stevie's Car Thefts...

EDIT: 31.92% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed, 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 0 Times Saved, 22:19 Total Playing Time, and 1 out of 10 Special Vehicles. Backed it up on my USB Drive.

Under the Save Editor, the Speedo: Black, Black, Hoods, Black. From the List of Possible Lusters that are special for the Black Speedo, Hoods is one of them, thus truly special. It looks pretty nice, but I am sure there is even better ones. I just didn't feel like reloading 20+ times to see all the possible Lusters. I saw an awesome Red Luster but didn't want it since I will be getting a Red Luster on the upcoming Sultan...

I'm in the mood for more IV Confirmations....

12 - Uncle Vlad:

Same Unique/EC Black and Dark Grey Roman's Taxi appears in this Mission, also...

EC Light Blue Marbelle

Mariner Blue - 66 - Body Color
Mariner Blue - 66 - Unknown Secondary Color
Silver Stone Poly - 8 (RGB checked) - Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 0

marbella, 0,0,0, 70,70,68, 72,72,72, 0,0,12, 3,3,12, 4,4,12, 6,6,12, 7,7,12, 10,10,12, 11,11,12, 19,19,12, 21,21,12, 34,34,34, 53,53,53, 95,95,95, 102,102,102, 66,66,66,

Comments - Like BoomyJohnny said. The Set Luster makes it EC, since the Traffic Marbelle is 66,66,66, while the EC Marbelle is always 66,66,8.

Why wasn't it obtainable for you Boomy? It was pretty simple to obtain... At first when Vlad got out and I rushed to the EC Marbelle, I couldn't enter it any way. Niko would run towards the nearest Vehicle ignoring the Marbelle. However, when you go to Vlad and let the Cutscene roll, then immediately walk behind you will be able to get in the EC Marbelle and drive off. When you fail the Mission for letting Vlad get away, you'll get the Fail Cutscene, but you'll still be sitting in the EC Marbelle.

13 - Concrete Jungle:

EC Red and Black Virgo

Med.Cabernet Solid - 40
Black - 0 - Stripe
Black Poly - 1 - Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 0

virgo, 4,4,1, 9,9,1, 16,16,1, 19,19,1, 28,28,1, 30,30,1, 37,37,1, 36,36,1, 46,46,1, 54,54,1,

Comments - It's surely EC. But it's not really Special because it can be obtained after 100% Completion, because of Little Jacob's Gun Car Special Ability.

14 - Crime and Punishment:

EC/Lustered Silver and Black DF8-90

Astra Silver Poly - 12 - Body Color
Black - 0 - Roof
Flax - 93 / Artic Pearl - 118 - RANDOM Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 2

df8, 0,0,75, 0,0,0, 0,0,12, 4,0,12, 6,0,12, 10,0,12, 21,0,12, 23,0,12, 25,0,12, 33,0,35, 34,0,34, 47,0,35, 49,0,63, 52,0,56, 54,0,55, 65,0,63, 67,0,118, 70,0,65, 98,0,90, 16,0,76, 9,0,91, 15,0,93, 19,0,93, 13,0,80,

Comments - It's EC for sure. And it looks awesome with that Arctic Pearl Luster. It's some kind of Light Blue Color. All the DF8-90s have a Black Roof anyways.

Lustered Black Speedo

Black - 0 - Body Color
Black - 0 - Unknown Secondary Color
Concord Blue Poly - 2 / Diamond Blue Poly - 68 / Desert Red - 36 (RGB checked) - RANDOM Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 0
Livery - Nonny Pinna's / Deliver Me Timbers / Hello Tailors - Random Livery (All Possible Liveries: Deliver Me Timbers, Easy Lay Carpet, Hello Tailors, Nonna Pinna's)

speedo, 9,9,9, 11,11,11, 1,1,2, 13,13,13, 23,23,3, 68,68,68, 31,31,31, 36,36,36, 41,41,41, 48,48,48, 55,55,55, 57,57,57, 64,64,64, 71,71,71, 77,77,77, 90,90,90, 104,104,104, 106,106,104, 0,0,1, 4,4,4,

Comments - All Lusters are Special except for Black Poly, because the one Traffic Speedo is 0,0,1.

15 - Do You Have Protection?:

Same EC/Lustered Silver and Black DF8-90 appears in the Mission. This time I got the Astra Silver Poly (12) and Green (56 - RGB checked) Lusters. Luster Theory still holds for all Vehicles. The Variant I got in both cases for this one is Variant - 6.

16 - Final Destination:

No Special Vehicles in the Mission. Lenny's Banshee is Traffic Default and not Special at all.

17 - No Love Lost:

Same EC/Lustered Silver and Black DF8-90 appears in the Mission. This time I got the Cabernet Red Poly (34) and Flax (93) Lusters. Luster Theory still holds for all Vehicles. The Variant I got in both cases for this one is Variant - 6.

Interestingly, the PCJ-600 here is not Special, but it can spawn in the Spanish Lord Gang Colors (33,127,90) with the Variant 1258 (which should be normal), but it can also spawn in normal Traffic PCJ-600 Civilian Colors, the Variant I got on the Traffic one is Variant 1430...

Now I want to ask something.... Boomy, you said that if the Vehicle is Lustered (Random Luster), then it will also have a Random Variant... But how come these Schafters have a Set Variant? How come this PCJ-600 spawned in Gang Colors and the Gang Variant? Does that mean that a, for example, Lustered Sentinel, can spawn as a Lustered Mafia Sentinel?

Jason's and the Lost's Zombies are not Special, they're the Gang 0,0,4,35 Colors and the Possible Variants are 332 and 394. Hm, different Variations? Possible "EC Civilian Zombie"? IF there is a difference between Gang and Civilian Zombies?

Okay, now I got a Lost Zombie from Traffic (from a Downloaded 100% Save File), it was Variant 332, the second one that I got was 394... Meaning one of two things: There is no Lost Zombie distinguished from Variations (only for Colors), OR there is a Lost Zombie, but it has multiple exclusive Variations. Either way, the Zombie from No Love Lost wouldn't be Special in both cases...

18 - Shadow:

No Special Vehicles in this Mission. The Scripted Vehicles in the On Foot Chase Part are all Randomly Traffic Colored.

19 - Logging On:

No Special Vehicles in this Mission. Not even a Roman's Taxi.

Actually, I couldn't obtain that Marbelle AT ALL I think...

I walked up to the OPEN DOOR and hit Triangle so Niko would enter it, but he wouldn't and would target any other close by Vehicle instead. It might be fully unobtainable on PS3, but I can't say I am disappointed. It's a sh*tty, useless Vehicle in the end and not worth to obtain. There is much better sets of 10 Special Vehicles to obtain for a few Saves, but other than like 30-40 Vehicles out of the 100+ in this Game, I don't even care to obtain them all. Same with V. A couple Saves is good enough, even though there is still plenty more to get...

In other words, only IV and V will be the GTA's that I will still have many Special Vehicles missing while I practically obtained the entire database in III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS, TLaD, TBoGT, and CW.

EDIT: 44.07% Completion, 0 Deaths, 0 Busted, 0 Cheats, 0 Missions Failed, 0 Pay and Spray Visits, 0 Times Saved, 24:50 Total Playing Time, and 3 out of 10 Special Vehicles. Backed it up on my USB Drive.

Under the Editor for the Sultan and NRG 900 from Easy as Can Be that I obtained:

Sultan: Black, Black, Turismo Red, Very White

NRG 900: Black, Black, Taxi Yellow, Black

So now all 3 of the Special Vehicles I obtained thus far are truly special and 100% confirmed......7 more to go! :)

20 - Rigged to Blow:

Same EC/Lustered Silver and Black DF8-90 appears in the Mission. This time I got the Striking Blue (63) and Jasper Green Poly (65) Lusters. Luster Theory still holds for all Vehicles. The Variant I got in both cases for this one is Variant - 6. All DF8-90s have been confirmed now... Finally.

EC/Lustered Dark Red Flatbed - NEW SPECIAL VEHICLE!!!

Cabernet Red Poly - 34 - Body Color
Cabernet Red Poly - 34 - Unknown Secondary Color
Graceful Red Mica - 31 // Nautical Blue Poly - 70 - Random Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 18

flatbed, 1,1,8, 6,6,8, 11,11,12, 12,12,12, 31,31,31, 40,40,40, 52,53,53, 54,54,54, 56,56,56, 70,70,70, 73,73,73, 77,77,76,

Comments - How was this big rig missed? Whatever, the Body Color of 34 is nowhere to be found in Carcols, and no other Color has the same RGB as this EC Flatbed. New Special Vehicle found. Still, we need to find a good Method for it, I don't think it's possible to obtain it with Pass. It may only be obtainable with Suicide... The Bomb Indicator gets deleted when off the Mission of course... Also, it's Lustered.

Okay, now I've found a Method with Fail to obtain it very easily. Go to the EC/Lustered Flatbed, get in it, drive it to the Road, get in a Random Vehicle and drive away from it looking at the Flatbed. The Mission will soon fail, drive back and get in the Flatbed, then store it.

21 - The Master and the Molotov:

EC Black Schafter

Black - 0 - Body Color
Black Poly - 1 - Rims
Winning Silver Poly - 5 - Luster
Steel Gray Poly - 6 - Unused Fourth Color - Unique Invisible Color 4, though the Schafter always has a Color 4 of Black, because it's a 3-Color Vehicle
Variant - 480

schafter, 0,1,1, 70,133,8, 16,133,8, 22,133,8, 26,133,18, 34,133,34, 43,133,43, 54,133,54, 57,133,57, 61,133,61, 65,133,65, 68,133,68, 77,133,77, 104,133,103, 106,133,103, 108,133,108, 15,133,93, 19,1,93, 13,133,80,

Comments - A simple normal Civilian Schafter, it has Civilian Silver Grill and a normal Non-Russian Bumper. Interestingly, it's actually One Time Only, due to the Set EC4 that it has. The Luster is Set.

Even though the Black Body Color and Black Poly Rims Color is in Traffic, it can never be found on a Civilian Schafter. Thus the 0,1,1 is always a Russian Schafter in Traffic. So it can be legally called EC Black (due to the EC Rule / Theory 2).

If IS a Civilian Schafter, I checked it now... Both have the Variant 480, the The Master and the Molotov Schafter, and a normal Schafter from Traffic.

I might also rename this Schafter to "EC Black Schafter with EC Silver Luster" or "EC Black Silver-Luster Schafter" if any of these other EC Black Schafter's Lusters are different...

A - Roman's Taxi Driver Job Missions:

The same EC Black and Dark Grey Roman's Taxi is found in these Side Missions. 0,1,1,0 with Variant 0.

B - Roman's Special Ability (Before Roman's Sorrow):

The same EC Black and Dark Grey Roman's Taxi is found in Roman's Special Ability (Cab Service) before Roman's Sorrow. 0,1,1,0 with Variant 0.

22 - Russian Revolution:

EC Red and Black Virgo

Med.Cabernet Solid - 40
Black - 0 - Stripe
Black Poly - 1 - Luster
Black - 0 - Unused Fourth Color
Variant - 0

virgo, 4,4,1, 9,9,1, 16,16,1, 19,19,1, 28,28,1, 30,30,1, 37,37,1, 36,36,1, 46,46,1, 54,54,1,

Comments - Same EC Virgo from Concrete Jungle and same one you can obtain any time after 100% Completion with Little Jacob's Gun Car Special Ability, making it just a rare EC Vehicle.

23 - Roman's Sorrow:

The same EC Black and Dark Grey Roman's Taxi, as usual, can be found in this Mission too... 0,1,1,0 with Variant 0. This is the last and final time you'll see it in the Game.

Easy as Can Be...It's not really easy as can be, though! :D:p

Getting the Sultan and NRG 900 at the same time and then passing the Mission took HOURS. The task itself when successful took me about 25-30 Minutes.

The reason for it taking HOURS is more times than not due to the Lusters. Those Sultans love spawning with very sh*tty Lusters that don't stand out, so just to get a good Luster, I had to reload dozens of times. Then the drive from after loading up my game from Bohan to Brucie's and then from Brucie's to Lyle's Oracle takes a lot of time, too...Everything is so far to drive to in this game...

I also seemed to get a 1 Star or 2 Star Wanted Level when I would shoot and kill the goons driving the Schafter/Sultans. I even got a Wanted Level when I rammed the NRG 900, knocked the guy off, then parked the Oracle on top of the goon's body...1 Star Wanted Level, had to reload. I even died a couple times. For some reason, the goons had SMG's rather than Pistols. Only some had Pistols, but more times than not, I was being shot at with SMG's and my armor being shredded.

I don't even know how zazaza and Vivid obtained these PLUS the Schafter. I also had major issues with the Vehicles disappearing. I would keep the camera on them and run back to the Oracle and get in, when I turned around to continue to push, POOF! Sultan is gone or something...

Not only was it annoying to get a good Luster to spawn on the Sultan, but the NRG 900 can spawn in two (maybe more?) variants and it also seemed to spawn in the Formula Red or Vermillion Solid Luster which are NOT SPECIAL! There is a Graceful Red Mica Luster that IS special and can spawn on the NRG 900, but I didn't take ANY chances with going for a Red Luster and then in the end it being not special. So I went for a Red Luster on the Sultan instead and then a Yellow Luster on the NRG 900. Unfortunately, the variation of the NRG 900 is the one I don't like, but it'll have to do. I don't like those pointy mirrors in the front branching off to the side. I like it when it spawns without the mirrors and has a better looking front to it. Still looks awesome, though.

I guess this is the big issue with Lustered Vehicles...The constant reloading just for the right and special Lusters MORE THAN actually obtaining the Vehicles. It takes longer to get a good outcome of Lusters to spawn than it is obtaining the damn Vehicles. Think about how bad it's going to be when I get to A Revenger's Tragedy and go for 3 Lustered Vehicles. All 3 have to look good, all 3 can't be the same, and then need to pass the Mission and hope everything remains and doesn't disappear...

Anyways, the next Special Vehicle I will get is the AP/Lustered Cognoscenti from Actions Speak Louder Than Words when Algonquin is unlocked. Also, when Algonquin is unlocked, I will convert my Speedo, Sultan, and NRG 900 to AP right away.

To be honest, I should be done half way through December and Photos up. Also thinking of retaking my Photos for my 1st Save since they could be better. For instance, you can't even see the Luster on my AP/Lustered Super GT despite having a really good and visible Luster on it...

The AP Conversion is very strange. For instance, my Lustered Speedo, Lustered Sultan, and Lustered NRG 900 all have been converted to AP. When I load up my Save and lets say I fire an RPG at the Vehicle sitting in the Parking Space and/or throw a Grenade at it, it's surely AP. HOWEVER, there is times when I load up my Save and enter the Vehicle, drive it away to an area where there is no Cops/Peds to test the Properties and when I fire an RPG or throw a Grenade at it, it blows up, thus the AP Properties just vanish at times. I am still trying to figure out WHY this happens, but just letting people know to be careful and actually watch and check the Properties. You shouldn't just convert a Vehicle to AP, park it, and then forget about it. The Properties CAN and WILL vanish randomly at times. This isn't news to me (about Vehicles and/or Properties vanishing), but just thought I mention it and maybe someone else can figure out the exact reason why the Properties are removed sometimes.

In an old Save of mine, there was a time that the Unique Romero literally lost the Properties entirely. Meaning, even after loading up my Save and firing an RPG at it in the Parking Space, it blew up, thus I had to reapply the AP Properties. But something "different" is happening now and I don't understand why it randomly happens.
