With a big enough skill gap you can wipe the floor on the RE-7B with a Bullet. If you can't, it means the skill gap isn't big enough to make up for the performance difference of the cars (or the track itself is too brain-dead for skill to matter).

Yeah, I sort of ran out of colours to use on it. A sort of blue-ish purple also looked good. Spinnaker Purple? I think. Red is what my friend used, and blue looked too bright. Orange was neat. I'd love it yellow, but yellow is my signature colour for everything, so I have too many cars that use that.

 

Don't have many greens. My Reaper is a metallic lime green that's quite beautiful.

Because,faster cars = better chance of winning (unless it is hard to control,looking at you dominator RC),no matter how much you like (for example) your bullet it won't ever win a race against anyone.

If you want a decent chance of winning you get the best weaponry avaiable to you,even if some other cars feel better to drive or look better.

At the end of the day it's about the driver. You can have the fastest car but it don't mean anything if you cant race. Annis might be the fastest but the last time I checked, theres more post in the Tyrus thread...wonder why... Both are great cars btw.

Some people are, but not everybody does. Some people are just speed freaks. Speed is THE most important thing to them, and it's certainly a big plus in racing. For others it's just one of many factors they weigh when deciding what vehicles they buy. Others don't care at all about speed, preferring looks over everything, and then there are others who only care about how "rare" the car is, or how much it can be customized, how well it drifts, etc.

I've always found this interesting. If I were to race, and race seriously, GTA:O would NOT be my game. Too many f*cktards and trolls. I'd prefer something along the line of Project Cars or whatnot. I would think racing in GTA:O would be a really frustrating racing experience because of the asshole magnet this franchise tends to have.

Both of these - AND - R* counts on the groupthink and mob mentality when a DLC drops. "Must buys allz cars!" or "Must buyz Supercah and puts money rimz." Of course, this drains bank accounts feverishly. Being with the cool kids but rarely (or never) racing in your X80. Hanky nails the majority of the hypercar/supercar buyers IMHO. They race once in a while and want to be seen with the most expensive toy. Its about airs. Flaunt it baby. Give it 3 weeks, the Mariokart/Hotwheels DLC cars will start to collect dust once the shine falls off. It's happened time and time again over these approaching 3 years.

 

Only car I've bought this year so far is the Seven 70. I've always been Muscle and Sports classes. I would still rather roll on my Tampa, just because it's so sexy.

Its because that not all people are car guys and as a general rule applies on general public or masses. They have no taste or real time interest in cars.They almost know nothing about cars except that they drive fast and therefor must be good. But exceptions are there , you will see within this community a group of people are car enthusiasts they will appreciate the small details that Rockstar puts into cars. For example i very closely monitored the gta forums threads and when x80 proto was launched there were all kind of people praising how cool it was and how they are dying to get there hands on one.But to some it was not appealing as some mentioned that its too futuristic and is insane in performance.The people quickly jumped and ditched there fist favourite cars for x80 and then bragged about them.I could sense the satisfaction they were feeling about that particular car.They said OMG its the best i have always wanted to get one bla bla...The truth is if rockstar intentionally launches a TURD on four wheels extreme performance,the same people will buy it and will to your surprise adore it and the x80 will be history for them.Although choosing whats your favourite is purely subjective.but if you have something you like at least stand by it. Mostly they are kids with a lot of hacked money who buy every thing which comes in a DLC and they wont even drive or use any vehicle.

So what is the point? the point is you buy what you really like. Like there are some respected dudes here who will say screw x80 i want that Group b rally car audi quattro or that classic Lancia Stratos.People with taste don't go for how fast car goes,they have a certain craving for some particular models which remains consistent.
