I usually go by the saying "just because it's expensive, doesn't mean it's the best". However with the Annis RE-7B, I have to throw that saying out of the window It's the most expensive, the fastest and handles excellent. So yeah, in this case, the most expensive is the best

Obviously everyone wants the fastest car or they won't win races. Come on Forza Horizon 2 and see if you can keep up with my Koenigsegg Agera in a BMW M4.

I don't think it's speed that people truely care about, it's the overall performance. Take the 811 for example, it sucks on a track. There's no doubt about that. The Brioso is apparently the best around a track but it has the WORST handling, same applies for the Sabre Turbo (Custom). Albeit, for myself I care about the best speed when regarding to races with long straights since I race with no catchup or slipstream.

The 811 looks like a kit car designed by an 8 year old, which is a damn shame considering the real life counterpart is one of the most beautiful cars ever. Definitely the biggest letdown in the game from a design standpoint...

For me I don't care jack sh*t how fast they are etc, im more into looks and if its new and none ugly ill buy it.

 

I got a 10 car garage full of supers, ive sold my Turismo R and 811 for this update and replaced them with the two 2.5mil cars.

 

Now ive skipped the 2mil car cause imo it is ugly and the next one to sell would be my Zentorno and thats nicer looking so I kept it.

 

Short story: Looks matter, speed not.

I buy cars mainly based on looks. If it is the fastest car in the game I'll buy it because of that but if i don't like the appearance of it as much as the other cars then I will drive one of the cars in which I do like the appearance of.

 

It's normal to want the fastest car in the game but I don't sh*t on the rest of the cars just because they're not as fast.

 

If I like it I buy it I can care less about the speed

I'm not looking for the fastest ride because I'm not a racer. I have about 30 PV that I bought, ten more I spawned. 1 lowrider because I wanted it. Same with the X80, I wanted it. I grind what I want. I'm way behind in vehicles but that's okay.

 

Recent buys: Osiris, T20, chino custom, X80, Savage.

 

that's all, I'm missing out on some... but I have what I want, My 100% armored Entity. Reliable, made contact missions quick easy work.

811 is far from the best looking car in the game, and the X80 is just expensive. The RE-7B, Tyrus and ERT1 all dominates the X80 in terms of performance, speaking of which the ERT1 is actually one of the better looking cars in the game, but then again it's dominated in performance by the RE-7B...

 

 

Drag raced a friends fully upgraded Tyrus vs my X80. X80 beats it in all ways.

 

The X80 is 2nd fastest while the RE-7B is the fastest in the game.

With draft the X80 can keep up with the RE-7B.

 

IMO the ERT1 has really good handling, but the speed is kinda meh (For a Super)

 

I'm actually successfully beating lots of people with the ERT1. something like (since it came out) 207 wins and 41 losses. Of course those are all races with a ton of turns nothing straight line. I never really do straight line racing.

tfw I've pretty much sold off most of my cars because nobody is going to race Utility/Vans/SUV/Compacts/Sedans/Coupes or pretty much anything but Supers, Sports, Muscle, Sports Classics, and Off-Road.

 

At least I'll have a lot more free garage space to bank excess cash in via expensive cars.
