Is there a certain order to VIP missions?

Is there an order to vip missions so that there's no cool down and you can keep making money without waiting? i.e.: do headhunter then haulage then ....

Yeah I thought I read there is an order that you can do then to avoid cooldown and just make money back to back.

I'll be using Headhunter and Sightseer as an example. It should work with every job.

  1. Start Sightseer
  2. Complete Sightseer, all the other jobs will have a timer. Sightseer will have 10 minute timer, the others will have 5 minute timer.
  3. Wait until Headhunter (5 min timer) is available. WAIT. Don't start a contact mission, or any jobs, just wait/enjoy the freemode scenery/customize car/whatever.
  4. Start and complete Headhunter.
  5. Sightseer will be available immediately. The other jobs will have a cooldown timer.

That way you can endlessly play 2 CEO/VIP missions back to back. It works only on the same 2 jobs, though. Can't start any other ones unless you do a mission/job in between or wait until the timers expire.

Also, don't do the jobs too fast. If you do it too fast, you will still have to wait for the timers to expire.

So there is still a 5 minute wait in this method or just the initial wait??

Yeah, things to do in between can range from robbing a store, selling a car, getting a Simeon request (Can involve luck here for best efficiency, remember what car on the list yields the most and don't spend too much time searching for that specific car).

Pity the old free roam events are gone, since it would've been so nice to snag an armoured truck or shoot down a smuggler plane.

I do Headhunter. Crates. LSIA Hostile Takeover, Headhunter and then I can do the other two activities by the time I'm done with the crate again unless I get lucky and it spawns close to my place instead of in Sandy f*cking Shores.

Just time the cooldowns right and you can get stuff lined up. I did it with Ex Search and Hostile Takeover before CEO update. You might have to wait at least a minute but it's a fast way to make money :)

  1. Buy and deliver crates (1, 2, or 3, up to you)
  2. Headhunter
  3. Buy and deliver crates
  4. Sightseer
  5. Repeat the above steps
  6. Profit

I was able to average 2-3 cycles of those four steps per hour.$90,000-$120,000 cash plus 10-15 crates in my warehouse to sell for $17,500-$20,000 (with my warehouses) each.

I go

Piracy prevention

Wait 5 minutes

sightseer

Headhunter

2 crates

Sightseer

Headhunter

2 crates

Sightseer

Headhunter

2 crates

... and eventually PP

Wait 5 minutes

Sightseer

Headhunter

2 crates

If done correctly no cooldowns besides the initial one after PP I'm pretty sure, Just started farming them recently. had a really good run Sunday after I bought the Savage. I was able to make my money back the same day. 900k in about 5-6 hours if I'm not mistaken.

My question is do the VIP payouts depend on time like contact missions? What's the best time to finish? I can do HH in 2-4 minutes, should I start waiting for the 5 minute mark?

Edit* 900k 5-6 hours... I'm pretty sure it was better than that actually. With a couple breaks maybe 900k 4-5 hours? Anyways whatever the take was it was worth it too me rather than contact missions and skycams. Non-stop work, It was a small warehouse i filled and sold twice in between VIP work.

This is awesome. I love to see what everyone else does.

I currently have 2 16 crates and a 111 crate wearhouse. Last night I was able to sit in my office and just switch between all of them and it was insane how many crates I pulled off. I'm going to return the favor for the guy who helped me.

I filled a 16 crate warehouse which paid for my crates in the long run. While filling the 111 crate warehouse, obviously the friend helping me was super cool to not worry about money. I'll be returning the favor like I said for him

Yes, the longer you take, the more you make, the max for Sightseer is $25K I believe and you need to get the timer down to the 5 minute mark.

Headhunter, I am not sure what the max payout is

^^ I suspect Headhunter is identical to Sightseer--i.e. the longer you take, the closer to $25k you get...but I can't prove it; just my guess from what I've been paid for in Headhunter so far, which varies from $22-24k (similar to what I get in Sightseer for about the same time).

I don't keep to a specific order of tasks; I just do whatever is available and fun. I also do weapons pickup along the way--especially if I'm near a known spawn location and I need to replenish something (Molotovs, Sticky Bombs, etc.). I've found that the more rigid I get with myself in "do this, now do that", the less fun GTAO simply is. To me, spontaneity is a blast, plus it helps train for handling anything-can-happen public sessions.

But ah; the peace and quiet of an Invite-Only session...so very, very nice.

I get bored in solo sessions personally. I'm a do this do that, can't do that I'm busy doing this reliable money making routine kinda guy.. and you are right it takes the fun out of the game sometimes for sure.

I've been meaning to try new things like races and DM/TDM/capture/adversary anything really, not into the DM RnG style (more of a sniper/"pilot") tho or I would be more in to battlefield.

For the vast majority of my game time I've ran cooperative contact missions (which at one point I loved) or just hunting players in freemode (IMO my kill count is relatively low, others may disagree). I wish there was more coop style missions but I can't handle heist/lowrider fails and load times.

I've only just discovered VIP work days before the CEO update. I think I was a vip once before I upgraded to CEO.

Wave trick + Blue Sentinels farming (selling one every 48 mins) = 228 per hour SOLO.

The wave trick:

"The wave trick is comprised of a startup sequence, a down wave where it builds up to the up wave, the up wave being 3 missions end to end with no cooldown.

The start sequence is headhunter, cooldown and then hostile takeover.

The down wave is cooldown, headhunter and then a cooldown.

The up wave is sightseer, headhunter and then hostile takeover.

Once through the startup phase, the down and up wave can be continued indefinitly to generate $211,500/h."

Hope it helps for you, ive made millions whit this.

Sorry for my bad english.

Edit: Buzzard is a MUST for this. Free (if you have one). Fast ( i can do headhunter in 90 secs).

I am going with this too, I think the most I have made on headhunter is 23.5K , I am curious, next time I do HH, I am going to run the counter down to see what the payout is.

I've ran the counter down to the 30 second mark and only made the minimum 20k on headhunter. I feel like the payout is random, still unsure.

Headhunter > Crate > Sightseer > Headhunter > Crate > Sightseer > Headhunter > Crate...

If the crate takes too long and headhunter is available without a cooldown, skip sightseer.

It may not be efficient, but I don't like getting out of the jet after going through the trouble to get one.

I do Headhunter, kill time until Sightseer is ready, do that, and then back to Headhunter, which is usually off cooldown by then. I also tend to stay out in the desert so that the Headhunter targets don't spawn in buildings and I can stay in the jet.

The downtime during jobs is usually when my lackies do whatever they need to do, get ammo, mod a car, beat off, do a daily objective. It's simple, makes money, and also means my friends can sit around doing jack f*cking sh*t while I fly around and shoot the ground like the average jet griefer.

Can you an associate a 100% of the vip missions if you are trying to help a buddy out?

On Friday I had no cooldown for Headhunter. I was with a friend alternating HH and crates. Another friend joined so there was 3 of us in the same organization alone in a lobby so I decided to stop moving crates and just focus on vip work.

After I finished HH I noticed I could run it again so I did.. for the next few hours. We were getting it done in anywhere from 1 -5 minutes getting about 20k each time and as soon as we were done in was able to launch it with no cooldown.

I had a lot of fun and made a lot of money with my buddy, including some crates I sold I think I made about 2 million in one evening.

Here's the non-crate version for scrubs like myself:

-Do Sightseer.

-If you have a bodyguard, do a Work like Point To Point or Cashing Out. That one is like a full 10 mins but first place gets like 20K plus the money they got from ATM's. This and Most Wanted are great if you guys want to take a recess break but still "earn" money.

-Alternate with Headhunter and in rare case Hostile Takeover but that one doesn't pay as much, should be done if extremely bored of repetitiveness.

-Rinse, repeat and floss.

If you somehow end up in a weird loop where there's a timer for everything, stand near your bodyguard and do a circle jerk. If you don't have a bodyguard, look at videos on Youtube. Honestly the best way to make money in relation to the work input. It really sucks when you're by yourself as there's a bit more waiting so you do get less money overall but it's nothing a movie or music playlist can't fix.

Also, Sentinel selling method isn't as effective as the Sandking method. Go to job - pick Chopper Tail. Call in Sandking or find one driving around. Drive up and down dirt road next to LS Customs in Sandy Shores. Yellow and blue Sandkings appear in used cars parking lot. I bought the 6-car garage down the street so I can fill it up in about 10-15 minutes alone, go back in freeroam, sell a Sandking, do some work and then sell a Sandking. If I'm not mistaken the blue Sandking is worth $18,725 while the yellow one is 17K. I should look for the custom NPC's thread but honestly I'm lazy at the moment. Sandking method with mission means Sandkings are always there due to mission timer freezing. I don't think a mission is frozen at the 9PM or 11PM time that Sentinels appear at, although 10-car garage is nearby compared to a 6-car garage.

Most of all (been reading the comments as I type this), VIP grinding can get very boring. Keep it entertaining from time to time. Honestly it's best done with a friend (or a few! Although the more bodyguards, the less you get paid if you guys tie in Most Wanted, for a specific example). Have fun from time to time like doing Hostile Takeover on a motorcycle or Sightseer in a car. Point To Point but you and your bodyguard can not use roads - only cross them. It does take longer and in theory get you less money (cause time is money) but I'd rather be having fun than sleeping myself to wealth status.

No idea.. I was switching between running crates and HH in a lobby with just me and two friends. After we finished HH I checked to see if we could do one more vip job before going back to crates so my buddies would make some money too and noticed there was no cooldown for HH all the other ones were cooling down tho. So I ran HH again and when it was finished I checked again, everything else was cooling down except HH so I abandoned crates and just ran HH over and over and over until me and buddy got tired of it. Pretty sure it was a few solid hours of just HH.

Yeah something was bugged. This is one of those rare harmless bugs tho. We weren't hurting anyone, we were alone and still technically working for our money. It's these rare opportunities that the game screws up for the better. I couldn't help but take advantage.

At first we didn't know what was happening, we started messaging each other to make sure everyone was getting paid. I was in my hydra my buddy was in my secro buzzard and the third friend was mostly afk (I didn't mind this instance of AFK because reasons.)

Most productive fun I've had in awhile. My hydra and buddies heli skills were a great team, I think it made me and buddy better friends, if he ever needs help with something and I'm "on-the-line" I will definitely drop whatever it is to lend a hand because he was so helpful.
