[Q] How to obtain current vehicle steer angles & speed.

Hi guys. I've checked NativeDB for vehicle status. I found functions to obtain vehicle appearances, acceleration and etc. But I can't track any functions to get current steer angle (not vehicle heading) and vehicle speed.

 

I only found SET_VEHICLE_FORWARD_SPEED to set vehicle speed, but no getter function. Likewise, for current steer angle, I only found SET_VEHICLE_STEER_BIAS or STEER_UNLOCK_BIAS.

 

Do you have any ideas?

In ScripthookV.NET, you can use float SteerAngle = Game.Player.Character.CurrentVehicle.SteeringAngle; (or maybe SteeringScale?)

Also, for speed, you can use float speed = Game.Player.Character.CurrentVehicle.Speed;

I'm using

Function.Call<int>(Hash.GET_CONTROL_VALUE, 0, 9)

to log the input value of the steering wheel / left controller stick in my mod. Brake and gas would be indexes 10 and 11, respectively.

 

I think what stillhere mentioned might be a wrapper for that function.

I think your solution is to record the user inputs. May i ask do you have any idea on extracting the steer/throttle/brake values of the car when AI is driving? For example, when the taxi is driving or AI::TASK_VEHICLE_DRIVE_WANDER(ped, vehicle, _setSpeed, 786603) is driving.
