Questions about the CEO Vehicles menu

Several of the items on my CEO Vehicles menu are not free to summon. Does summoning them become free if I buy them?

I would normally assume yes, but some are pretty expensive and I don't want to waste money on them if it doesn't make them free on the menu.

The menu doesn't exactly seem to follow logic, anyway. The BeeJay XL, for example, is already free, despite the fact that I do not own one of those.

I also noticed that a real-world friend of mine who does not own a Buzzard cannot get it for free from the menu, while I do own a Buzzard, and can get it for free...yet the Buzzard I get for free is not the one I own, as evidenced by the fact that I can have my CEO Buzzard and my Pegasus Buzzard parked side by side, both of them fly able, each with its own separate helicopter marker on the map.

Which leads me to my next question: If owning a vehicle makes it free to summon from this menu, and that vehicle is one you can store in your own garage, will the one you summon be the one you actually own, with all its modifications?

Finally, for any of the vehicles that come in armored and unarmored variants, does it matter which one I own in terms of making it free on the menu (if that's how it works)?

Vehicles you summon are not the ones you own.

The bigger the warehouse, the more vehicles you receive access to (payment may vary).

Yeah anything on the ceo vehicle menu that costs money will be free when you own that exact vehicle (not an un armored version of an armored car on the CEO menu though). Customization does not transfer over, the vehicles spawned from the CEO menu spawn the same exact color and style for every player

I made the mistake of buying a Conoscenti 55 Armoured thinking I could call it up. NOPE.

Ok, so... For example, if I own a Cognoscenti, the Cognoscenti on the CEO menu becomes free, but the one I get won't be mine, it will be an unmodified generic Cognoscenti, correct?

But it won't be free if I own the armored Cognoscenti...correct? It needs to be the unarmored version, because the CEO menu does not say armored?

All of which is false fu*king advertising as far as I'm concerned. there should have been clearer instructions for this when the original DLC came out. Could have saved myself a quarter mill'. :miranda:

How is it false advertising? It doesn't say "vehicle: Armored" does it. Just common sense

Something I've noticed as well. It looks like R* have changed the vehicle spawning system, before it was whatever the VIP/CEO owned was what you could use, now it seems to be whatever you own you use

Yesterday I was helping my friend who doesn't own much but I still had access to my buzzard and turreted limo

In the sense that; you look at the 'menu' and think, ok, I'll buy that, that and that, thinking that those vehicles will then be available through SecuroServ. but they're not. Total BS.

No, you made an assumption and it turned out to be incorrect (like the mindset of many players when new DLC rolls out)

It doesn't unequivocally state that the Armored variants can be used

Handsome Jack

If you buy it but sell it after does it still stay free in the menu?

That is something I've been wondering myself. With the Baller.

As is releasing the cargobobs to buy with the CEO update, yet you cant actually use them to do the CEO work!.

You can use them to do CEO work, just not buy/sell jobs - well you can even use them for that but they can't pick up the vans carrying the crates. They didn't say, nor indicate that the cargobob could be used for this purpose. The cargobob has been requested for a long time, like since whenever it was that they removed the cargobob from warstock near the beginning of GTA:O

Yup because people will totally buy a 2 mil CARGObob that can't cargo the cargo vehicles. That's the main reason why everyone would buy it.

And for the sake of having it, because it might come in handy once in your lifetime while hanging around with friends.

That's exactly the problem M8.

No-one should have to make assumptions about anything, the instructions should be clear so that we aren't playing guessing games and spending money on things that turn out to be pointless purchases.

Your post is completely vacuous btw.

How is it vacuous? You're the one complaining about false advertisement of something that doesn't actually exist

You don't look at the spawn menu and see "Baller LE LWB" and expect the Armored variant over the standard

You hope that's the case, like I did but guess what, I was wrong and so are you

How can you say I'm lacking thought when you're head is full of sh*t?

Really the ONLY thing worth owning for CEO/VIP spawn is Buzzard.

Dinghy is handy if you find yourself stranded out at sea, turreted limo is fun now and again, but beyond that which of those vehicles do you ever want and under what circumstances?

Who has room for all those other crappy cars in their garage either, particularly with all the new ones that just released?

It's not an everyday use vehicle for sure, but it does come in handy in certain missions, or whenever you want to haul a vehicle for fun (e.g. the Kraken to the Alamo Sea for various uses).
