Does rare car farming still work in missions?

Honestly though has the spawn rate been altered? They seem rarer then ever.

Only thing I've noticed is that the sentinel at tequilalala doesn't necessarily spawn on the first go. But after doing the drive to tinsel, it's constant.

Got some modded sand kings today, one after the other. Nothings changed for them.

I couldnt get any dubstas to spawn while in missions at all today. But i managed to get it to work in freemode. Some people are having the same issue but some people are not. Ive no idea why this is.

Yeah. I think the easiest to spawn is the modded Sandking, in the mission Crystal Clear Out 3. Almost everytime (I think it doesn't work when I'm a little too fast) I head back to the parking lot one is there. Haven't had that much luck with the Sentinel, Dominator or Dubsta 2.

Spawning Dubsta 2s solo is fairly hit-and-miss, even within missions like Denial of Service, but they can sometimes be frequent or easy--I've spawned them within minutes even in a busy public session (but it's a bit rare).

 

For the record, I always spawn them at the central LSC.

However, spawning them with two or more people can yield some serious amounts of Dubsta 2s with a virtual 100% guarantee. One of the GTA Forum members has a thread about this--two locations can be used to consistently spawn them IIRC.

 

Sentinel XS and Sandking XL spawns work like they always did IMO--pretty easy when using the right time and techniques.

What's a method for solo spawns? I've only ever seen people talk about doing it in two's or threes.

The only solo spawn requires you have one initially otherwise it won't appear

 

Driving from the central LSC to the horse track and back seems to work for me between 8-5
