I am planning on purchasing the tyrus in the near future. From what I've read, there's no option to remove the spoiler, but has anyone successful glitched it off?

This could have been easily asked in the Tyrus thread.

To answer your question, you cannot glitch the spoiler off.

I've yet to wreck it but I think it can't even be knocked off. :(

If that's the case, they should just give us the option to do so on both the Tyrus and the RE-7B. In fact, they should let us remove the stock spoiler on the Comet, the Infernus, the Kuruma, etc. This is just getting silly now.

I really don't understand the hate with spoilers on this forum, yikes... But anyways, it's easy to remove the spoiler on the Infernus.

Go to LSC, go the spoiler section, buy one of the aftermarket ones, and then quickly spam up and down on the D-Pad and the spoiler should disappear once you land back on the stock spoiler option. Select the stock option again once it has and it should stick.

Some spoilers are just ridiculous and overdone. No spoiler gives the car a low-key look.

at least two of the new cars have a spoilerless option with the additonal spoiler traction on, while the stock spoiler is acting as no spoiler, its something.

I don't like added traction, the car is less fun.

Rockstar gives you un-removable spoiler, you complain.

Rockstar gives you removable spoiler, you still complain.

a removable spoiler that somehow adds traction. There's a logic jump there...

Pumpkin Zone

The real travesty is you can never remove the Pisswasser livery from the window sunstrip.

Wouldn't surprise me if they later came out with a shorter, road-spec F1 with no decals/spoiler in place of the lengthened F1 LM just to get people to buy it again.

And we probably would, too. I know I would.

^ I second that.

Couldn't do what I wanted to do with the Tyrus, so it's sitting in my garage

I agree, if we had the option to remove spoilers from all cars, I'd own a lot more and also drive some of the ones I have a lot more.

spoiler affects car so you're forced to have it (unless you don't care), bulletproof clothing doesn't affect anything in freemode it's just cosmetic. Grand theft auto online, yet we have to buy cars.

I would buy 5 versions if they were each unique lol.

Most spoilers in this game don't fit the cars or are too large/overdone.

The glitch you mentioned only works on consoles and slow PCs, and it is client-side only.

Well Pißwasser is the gta equivalent for Warsteiner, so yeah.

If I had no Pisswasser on the window & no spoiler, I'd be so happy! The car seems to handle relatively well (IMO), so that just leaves looks!

I do find it amusing you can remove the Omnis spoiler (which is entirely accurate, and the car never existed without it*) but not the Tyrus'. I don't mind the PISSWASSER banner as it's faithful to the WARSTEINER brand**, but I do suspect it's a mistake and will go away soon.

* We can go Audi Quattro nerd if you want - this is a true SWB S1, as shown by the higher rake Audi 80 windscreen and A pillars :p I'm happy you can remove it though, as I can recreate all 3 of my past Audis in GTA.

** Have you ever drunk Warsteiner?

It's a McLaren F1 Longtail, identical to the "2 girls 1 car" car except longer at the back for aero/handling reasons in Endurance Racing (iirc).

Yep, use the vehicle topics in the vehicle section for such questions in the future. http://gtaforums.com/topic/861800-progen-tyrus-discussion-topic/
