OK, let me start by saying this is not me telling you about something that is already out there... This is an idea that I'd like to see.

As GTA Online is the main reason I still like playing games, as I have just turned 30 and have other responsibilities on the way...

I really like what SocialClub offers in the way you can view your characters progress and even keep in contact with other friends in your Crew. (Excellent)

BUT I feel there is still some form of interactiveness missing, I love the idea of BAWSAQ for the single player and feel that perhaps something similar could be fun for GTA Online.

I'd really like to be able to do more with my character for GTA Online from SocialClub...

I'd love to be able to amend my characters outfits while using the website, buy things, sell things... something to allow me to help benefit my online character before I get back to the games console and play online again...

I'd love to know the thoughts of others?

Many of us day one players hoped this would develop into a rich interactive criminal enterprise game! with fast cars, missions and heists at the core. Cant help thinking that was the original idea. However with terrible bugs and glitches and lack punishment for hacking in earliest days on on old get its got away from them. Then once they saw how much income came simply from Cash card sales, that started to shape everything from then on to detriment of a few good ideas they have had, underneath is always that not so subtle cash grab to increase costs, decrease ease of earning in game money , all to boost microtrans income. They have created an amazing world and playground thats easy to get lost in and make your own fun, it had amazing promise for development, expansion and interaction, but its jsut not going that way. I can only hope another game IP like AC or Deus Ex looks at creating a mmorpg world sometime soon.

Assassin's Creed? Ubisoft. Really. Ubisoft is as bad as EA, and both of them make Rockstar look like St. Peter.

Cant agree, R* and cash cards are the far worse. Now lets take away the "well you dont have to buy that stuff" c bollocks, this about what you get for your money if where to pay real money for it. And fact is many gamers do not have the time many more do to grind this game to death and are now being priced out of enjoying the game to its fullest.

AC DLC is say £19.99 let say you get SP and MP game contents, clothes etc, a load of dlcto extend your game and equipment, job done.

GTAO, they release lets say the the "free" update with content that to by calculation of a real life money to content is a yacht at around GTA$8 million in-game money.money. Thats around £100 real life money! JUST for one small part of that FREE update!!. Then add a couple of cars etc etc. That insanely overpriced. And they can easily control this cash flow by simple additions and tweaks to the game that ends up costing you more money and make earning in game money more difficult. Its kind of genius

Cash to content, R* is the king of microtransaction

bullsh*t cash cards was a part of their plan from the jump. they need the revenue they have investors and what not this is a business. they already lined their pockets with the sales of gta v and all their other hit games they don't need our money like that unless dan houser blew it all on his coke habit. look face it nothing is free and micro transactions are a part of online gaming.

Corporations do their thing to make money. Game industry isn't a charity. I do appreciate your openmindness in that you dont like everything that R* makes into the game. It's good to think and to doubt.

But on the other hand, i have enjoyed the game. Very much so. I am one of those who can't grind endless hours, i'm only level 260 plus maybe 50 on 2nd character. Not a single shark card bought. It is way better to let players decide if they want to pay real money for stuff or not. I haven't, and won't. I don't own a yacht, and only once have i been in position to buy one. I play my game without it. It's the same game. If i would sell a few garages, sure i could get it. I am building my funds up, by playing the game.

Now i have the option of buying the shark card to fund the update, but in other models i would have to pay. I'd rather play and buy what i can and want.
