How reasonable are Cunning Stunts vehicle designs?

I feel like some of the vehicles in this update look too plain without the livery, but most are very impressive. I'm wondering if these vehicles are "realistic" and acceptable by true car enthusiasts. The Trophy Truck has headlights on the roof and bumper, but not the truck itself, other than the painted ones on the liveries. The LeMans-type car looks a little too lacking without liveries, while the McLaren F1-like car is more detailed. The retractable headlight car looks like a toy car, not really but the dimensions seem different from other cars. Any real car enthusiasts here who can give more knowledgable input?

But really, this update is one of my favorites, so don't confuse this for hate! I'm loving the Trophy Truck and Gargoyle, and most of all the stunt races! :)

Just sucks how there aren't street options on the new vehicles. Only motorcycles can fully be transformed to street vehicles.

Enthusiasts of anything tend to pick apart what they're passionate about, so I'm sure someone could find something bad to say about the cars. But that's not going to be me.

I'd say I'm an enthusiast as I daily drive a turbo Buick that runs 10 second 1/4 miles with slicks on it. On top of that I was well known drifter in the area of turn10 and was asked to test forza 3. I'd say I fit. Pop up head light car is a real rally car that is world famous and looks identical to the in game. Look up lancia stratos. The trucks are perfect real trophy trucks have no headlights they are stickers with axillary lights only. In my honest opinion they are true to what they should be.

Here's my grocery getter. I have no joke real race cars I can't drive on the streets.

I agree that the 3 new GT-style Supers look "off" without livery, but at the same time, I hate liveries on my vehicles, so I couldn't be pleased either way with them. Fortunately, they aren't my taste anyway, and the vehicles I have bought, the Tropos Rallye and BF400, look fine sans stickers. Honestly, I wouldn't mind some of the multicolour stripe and shape elements of the livery designs, its the text/advertising that turns me off.

The Lexus LFA, a car that I admired for years, is finally added to the game but anchored as a race car* and permanently stuck with racing body styles. We could've gotten separate clean and rally/race variants like the Massacros, Jesters, Dominators, Sultans, Banshees, etc.

Sadly, that's too much to ask for.

I thought it was just me, but they indeed look like toy cars. Also liked the Progen the most, but since you can't get rid of that huge spoiler...

Impressive! I've only really gotten into cars and bikes in recent months (despite playing racing games for the majority of my life, since before I would only like a car by its looks), so I'm still discovering new things. Edited by SPECTER II

They seems fine to me. I mean they are all inspired by real life vehicles, as well as their features, looks, and even size.
So I don't see where is the "big" problem in this. It's just a matter of design taste, at worse.
Maybe the ETR1 could have used a "standard" model, but other than that :monocle:

- With over 50 videos (showcasing 3 vehicles at a time, so over 150 total) dedicated to GTA cars/vehicles aesthetics, and many more about proper races/tracks, I guess I am a car enthusiast. At least I consider myself one (even tho I'm far from being an expert into every subject)

Well, I should share my opinion on those I've seem so far:

-Obey Omni: Well the Quattro S1 is a coupe not a compact sedan, but besides that and the un-removable widebody kit, it's great and sounds good, not INSANE like the S1 but it's still good;

-Emperor ETR1: Looks very poorly made, front wheels are too much inside the bodywork, it has those cartonish headlights from the Zentorno, but at least it can resemble the Lexus LFA;

-Lampadati Tropos: They nailed the Stratos look while giving it it's own character, it's car porn at it's finest;

-Progen Tyros: Great representation of the Mclaren F1 GTR Longtail, too bad the engine sound is WEAK, we can't remove that windshield decal, the big spoiler(although I like it) and the pink tow hook;

-Annis RE-7B: Nissan R390-GT1, Mazda 787B and Audi R18 E-tron all rolled into one, I sort of liked but I wish it had the 787B front fascia too, the R18 headlights are really out of place in such a 90's looking body, also it should have an wankel sounding engine;

It's a really long but fun road to go down. You'll go broke fast even at 100k a year job and you learn to love top ramen. It's $0.25 a pack at bulk sale and you get a meal from one. Endless nights before a track day just to make sure your car runs. Then 20 minutes of sleep in the car in the pits then racing all day. Forget girlfriends they don't stick around for the whole thing. Be prepared to be broke.

The cars are well built and designed. But there are a few things

1 - The stock spoiler on cars should also provide the same level of traction as the optional wing.
2 - The secondary color on 7b (mazda 787b) should be changeable, i think its a bug that secondary does not change at all.
3 - The sound on the 7b is not good its very common and not race car like (imo it should be like rotary engine sound that of real mazda 787b)
4 - Tyrus (Mclaren f1 gtr LM) Wheels are a little small specially when you choose some other wheels from lsc but its minor

All other cars seems fine.

Sir i fully agree you have taste.

I dont like any of the new vehicles , especially with livery.But then this is an update for the stunters and racers so fair enough and hopefully they like it. I just hope they do the same thing soon for the Motorcycle/MC type community as they appear to be woefully excluded in the last 3 years.

That's because a lot of design elements don't just come from the Lexus LFA, but also from the Toyota FT-1 Concept: http://www.toyota.com/concept-vehicles/

This include your cartoonish headlights, and some of the more crazy arches and lines on the car.

ETR1 and LFA? I'm rather seeing the Toyota FT1 in it...

But anyway, the Tropos, Omnis and Tyros are amazing. The Rallye stunt race with the Tropos is so much fun. You really have to suck at driving to get the Tropos into a spin

The thing that killed it for me was the wheels being too far inside the bodywork, if they lined up like the wheels on the RE-7B, I'd buy one right away
