He should have addressed the real issues at hand here - Rockstar giving us 13 new cars that long-term players don't have any room to store. Instead of pouting on about the amazing new cars. And no matter how good the stunt races - they're still lobby orientated, meaning you have to wait for players to join in with your magic races that magically hover over the city. It's not new and not spontaneous. Broughy is becoming the new MrBossFTW, unfortunately. EDIT:To be fair to Broughy, he does pile on the pressure on Rockstar for releasing supercars which absolutely destroy the supercars racing field. This means if you don't own at least one of the three new supercars you're no longer competitive in the supercar racing category. In other words, the Progen T20 which costs 2.2 million dollars + upgrades is now pretty useless for racing, as are all the other supercars. You're forced into selling at least one supercar to make room for these faster cars, whether you like it or not. You realize he's not posting "my opinions of the DLC" videos? The internet is full of those already. He does one specific thing (for the most part) and does it very well: he tests cars to see how well they perform on race tracks and drag strips, and he offers educated opinions about the class setups in the game, based on his results. I don't feel the need to buy every single car from every single DLC. I don't think most long term players will use EVERY SINGLE car in their garage consistently enough to warrant lots of garage space. For me, I have my main garage, race garage, and "baller/ felon bond" garage. Any other car I store is just wasteful. If I won't use a car for races or missions, it will NOT be in the garage. With stunt races, you do NOT have to wait for a lobby to fill. You can do them solo or with friends. Its actually R*'s fault for releasing OP supercars and other imbalanced cars. Nobody else pressured R* to release "imbalanced" cars. Hopefully the player earned money between the T20 updates and the new update to sell off the old car to get the new car. Those of us who like to collect and have always had enough money to do so shouldn't be forced by the game to throw our money away. That's the bottom line. As for the imbalanced cars, you're mistaken: the player base CONSTANTLY pressures them to release new "best in class" cars. They openly lobby for it on Rockstar's forums, and not only that, but when Rockstar does release a new overpowered car, everyone rushes to buy it and shark card sales almost certainly go up. The consumers are supporting this practice both vocally and monetarily. Like it or not, it's the new standard. I am actually a little happy everytime they release a car that is NOT the new fastest in its class. And as for Nutduster, as per my PM direct to you. You're an asshole. I'm not out of line here at all. I'm sorry if I rubbed you the wrong way, but I only meant to say directly that I think you're being incredibly unfair to Broughy and the service he provides. That video is exactly like dozens of others he's posted before: he shows the performance, then gives his opinions about how the new cars affect the racing classes. Is it safe to say that the X80 Proto is the new Lectro? Well in the stunt races I tried the ETR1 I've been beating the other 2 cars. I really like that car. Maybe it's just about personal preference and playing style. I don't know, not going to analyze it past I like the look of the ETR1 and I've beat a ton of people today in races with it that used the other 2 cars (mostly friends who are also really into racing before this update even came out) and that's it. The update system has been designed to give us *bigger* and/or *better* content than previous content we had every time. It's the nature of the beast and I don't think it likely that Rockstar would ever create a new class. Even if this wasn't such a huge increase in performance, we were always going to hit a point where older vehicles would become lower tier. It's just the nature of the beast Hell, at this point I wouldn't buy anything from an update until we have all the details on the stuff they keep locked out due to tunables. But the "X car ruins X class" and "It's all to sell Cash Cards" rhetoric is getting old. I used to watch his Discussion and Analysis but it's just those two points, repeated. Don't get me wrong.
