Kid-A
As I love both cars, I decided to do a test. I wanted to find out which car would perform the best on my track. Here are the results: ROUND ONE: Omnis: 44.48s Tropos: 42.27s ROUND TWO: Omnis: 41.744s Tropos: 40.342s Now, as it seems, the Tropos appears to be better at my track. I want to know how you guys perform. STEP ONE Download my track! STEP TWO Try both the Omnis and the Tropos around the track! STEP THREE Post your times below! Tips: If you do not own the Omnis or Tropos, don't panic! Stock version will be available. I recommend doing this alone. Phobos_VT
Just a suggestion, try seeing which aspects each car is best at. Such as top speed, acceleration, handling, build quality, customization parts, etc. Basically what Gun1t123 does lol.

wmblgy
A community effort will not result in a controlled environment and will not give you any valuable results. This will be a massive waste of time. Also, point to point is not a good race type to test cars. You will need to relaunch the job so many times. Nothing against Broughty, but I was hoping to run my own test. If you want to run your own test, YOU run your own test. You do not introduce more variables (random drivers with different skill levels) into it. You find the right lines yourself and use both cars over and over and over (not twice) so that you both learn the cars and internalize the lines. Then you can come to a conclusion and inform us. Then and only then we can input your conclusion into the dialectics. You.....Can.....Not.....Be....Serious..............*pause*.................................. Another Broughy Worshipper in our midst....He is not god; and by himself, his tests don't mean sh*t. You should be thankful GoopHug is doing this. Thankful for doing what? He isn't doing anything. He made a half arsed comparison and then passed the ball to the community. Eqaulo and FR_Player-One

But more people getting better times with the Tropos will strengthen the statement about the Tropo being better. Still, I recommend everybody to try cars they want to buy themselves. Broughy's result may be spot on, but those mean nothing if you don't enjoy driving it. [email protected] and Iroquois

Phobos_VT
Why are the people here so salty? He was just doing an experiment to see which car is the fastest and you all get pissy because he compared himself to Broughty. My gawd, this is supposed to be a community we should all come together. Rewdalf
Omnis is AWD, but the Tropos has loads more grip. Tried them both on a few stunting tracks. You can maintain a lot more speed in the turns with the Tropos. But as for raw acceleration and top speed, I haven't done any tests. And I have no numbers for you. Personal preference, I like the Tropos for its driving style better, and it feels a lot faster on a technical course.
teagle
I've been testing out all the new cars quite a lot in the creator, and I've found that I really enjoy driving the Omnis off-road. The Tropos really hugs the road but overall I've found myself driving the Omnis longer and having more fun while doing so. The headlights of the Tropos are awesome, I think both are really great cars.
Foppezão
I did some testing in the creator and the tropos has some nasty understeer, could be faster though. Omnis is my choice atm(and has less oversteer with spoiler) Edited July 13, 2016 by Foppezão
