Why is it so hard to earn money?

Why is it so hard to earn money in this game? like seriously, if they are going to put the prices of vehicles and things so high why make it so you only get between 15 and 25 thousand per job, there is no point in doing heist because barely anyone equally pays the group so right there all you are really going to get is between 60 and 80 thousand, its stupid. Rockstar should either lower the prices of the stuff within the game or make it a bit easier to earn money within the game seriously.

It's even worse in Chinatown Wars. You get $15 to $250 a Mission, sometimes nothing, yet Safehouses cost $15,000 to nearly $100,000. You're forced to use Drug Dealing to make the big bucks. I reckon in V, they WANT you to use the Stock Market for the big bucks as well, since it's really the only way you can make a decent amount of money and then never worry about money again.

It is like you play gta V online its like how are you able to enjoy playing the online version if you are unable to buy anything because of the ridiculous prices and how little you earn per mission/heist its stupid yet they do not do anything about it.

Yet what they dont realise is not everyone can afford it and too be honest its one of the main reasons that have made me not wanting to play the game anymore because of this issue.

Making money in this game is an unintentional IQ test.

Looks like you are scoring rather low.

You don't need to if you're actually good at making money.

Sounds like you're playing with randumbs. Get some friends on, or make some whilst playing and you'll be paid properly. Besides, there are loads more methods besides randumb hosted Heists and missions to make money quickly. It's not hard at all.

If you're willing to spent the time and effort in it, you can make money. Before VIP, I grinded contact-missions. If you're lucky and have a good group of friends, you can grind pacific Standard Job and make effortlessly LOTS of money... I switched to VIP-grinding after the contact-missions... Then I switched to CEO-grinding (but with a steep investmentcost (office and warehouse(s))... I can easily make 4.4 million in about 7-9 days (one large warehouse and three medium warehouses). And there are folks out there that can even grind it lots more, but it's back to Pacific mostly and that's something I'm so tired off, so...

You can do it, but you need to start doing it right now. Not wait until another DLC drops in and you don't have the money to spent on it...YOu need to have that pile of cash ready before the DLC lands, or you're indeed in world full of hurt...

ANd yep, Rockstar wants to sell shark cards, thus the high prices...But in the end, they're a company and need to make a profit too. Nothing's free in this world.. I buy a card from time to time too. I don't have to, but I want to to keep their stuff coming towards us as well...

You get paid for literally any objective you want to complete. Pick one you enjoy and play the game. The money will come.

Sure the jobs dont pay very well but the only thing you really need money for is cars, and you dont really need every car in the game. So much of the luxury items they added dont have much functionality, and chances are somebody you know has that item and will let you check it out.

There arent very many long term goals to achieve in this game, just stuff to save up for and buy, and nothing you buy will set you apart from the player base.

The best part is this time there's a huge roadblock stopping me from buying shark cards that I want to buy, it's a f*cking new garage to store the cars in! So without that I can't buy a shark card to buy the new cars. So, In a sense this update saved me a waiters tip in money. I won't sell old cars anymore. I'm tired of buying cars I want then selling cars I like to buy the new cars, then eventually buying those old cars again and then selling those once more because of the same reason. It's madness and rockstar's is blocking themselves from making more money because they didnt' add another property, if you look at the files it's like 4 tweets of characters in a text file of code (i checked).

If you don't have the awesome luck I have where you don't need money because you can't even spend it, then your best bet is to follow some guide on reddit about this. I don't know if it works but people like to upvote helpful posts even if they may in fact be useless.... because it's the thought that counts.

I'd do the vip missions in a private session personally. You could do the firewall ceo delivery stuff though. Both are just boring. Heists are the worst unless you have 3 more pcs like me to do it solo.

Well with this update, I would say there's now even more possibilities of making money (eg those $100,000 races). Of course, you've gotta' be good, but then if you're serious about making money, that's always possible.

If you are unwilling to invest time you will not see any reward. You have to balance your fun (where you spend more than you earn) with money making. As someone already stated its never been easier.

Or you could waste time complaining....choice is yours.

It's all becoming a bit of a slap-in-the-face piss-take. IMO.

The fact that they 'stagger' the releases so that we buy the new stuff, get skint, then release more, get skint and so on....is becoming tiresome and insultingly transparent.

I'm getting more than a little pissed off with them tbh. I understand that the DLCs are big additions to the game and throwing everything in at once probably isn't a good idea, but I don't think that's the reason for the 'stagger'.

It's a perpetual cycle. The prices are at one level, and the payouts of everything are set accordingly. But people don't want to grind, so they find exploits and glitches and make millions. So Rockstar increases the prices of the next batch of content, trying to drain down accounts (while simultaneously fixing as many of the glitches as possible) to keep cash card sales up. But people find new methods and keep earning. Or they flog to death the one loophole that Rockstar seemingly can't fix (for eons, that has been - and still remains - the bug that lets you reply the Pac Std finale again and again).

It is what it is. They want to sell cash cards at a certain rate, and the prices are jacked up because they can't seem to force us to only earn at the rate they initially wanted. It's been a three year experiment in seeing how much content it would take to destroy the bank accounts of perpetual cheaters.

I think it's pretty obvious, and as previously mentioned; Sharkcardsis the correct answer. But secondly you're doing the heists wrong, just get your friends together and work on the Pacific standard finale you can make $600k per hour easy on this one.

You can make 500k in 3-3.5 hours by doing VIP missions.

I made 800k on Sunday alone.

I earned a total of 68.2 mil in 2 years or so. I never thought it was that hard. There's lots of good $$$ making tips. I was lucky enough to be able to get a heist crew to grind it all, though.

well, there is still heists but the prices are going a bit to insane

i mean, like a year ago before ill gotten gains you could buy any super car you wanted after doing 2 pacific standard finales

these days it will cost you 6 pacific standards.

also noting how you will need a new expensive super, sedan, suv, muscle car to be competitive in races and they kinda broke the super class recently i really think this is going a bit out of hand.

really pacific standard is fun, but needing to do 1 or more finales just to get youre losses back after buying a new car....i am still sitting on dozans of milions, but this is getting out of hand

no not really...they put a goddamn timer on those things if you wil....not sure how long, but it is sure more then 10 minutes

It's easier to make big bucks now actually, but Rockstar raised the prices beyond any form of economical reality that we got the placebo effect that money making is hard again.

Its not rocket science to make money. Do your daily objectives, simeon vehicle lists, and do a few contact missions. Heists are good way to make money, you just need to do your leg work and do them with your friends.

It is not hard to make money especially not now, but maybe you are just not the type of person willing to commit yourself to the game for many hours a day/week, which is fine, but if that's the issue no one can help you with this. And Rockstar surely won't change their ways.

Btw. you are playing heists with some real crooks, 60k wow... Just quit and screw these people, you'll be better off.

We paid $60-70 for this game and theyve continually put out new updates, long since they got my money. Ive long since got my moneys worth out of this game. They COULD make it so that i HAVE to pay to continue on but theyve given the option to slowly progress thru missions, VIP work , heists, etc.

So i laugh at the entitlement of people that curse rockstar up and down. I mean heaven forbid a company try to make money.

Would you rather they were removed from the game entirely?

I'm giving options, not the solutions. Hell, I make money quite happily enough flying in a P996 Lazer and targetting bounties - but that's just me, and is by no means a money earning "method" (but then I don't spend much).
