yes, you have to be a returning player to have them for free...

but the BIG question is : are the new ones faster than the "originals" , or nah ?

If you qualify for the Blista Compact, Dukes and original Stallion then you will have these cars for free. Otherwise you have to fork out for them. They are all faster than the originals, and the Dominator is the best of the bunch, it's close to the Sabre Turbo in performance.

They will be only free if you have won the stock car races in story mode, I have three accounts, one I have completed these races on story mode and

the cars are free online, the other accounts I have to pay.

 

Note if you get to buy them you can sell them at any time, when they are free you cannot sell these cars.

The bolded part is not true. I have played single player extensively on PS3 but never went beyond the prologue on PS4. I have never even seen a stock car in SP, let alone finished a race. And yet, the cars are free for me.

Only saying it from my experiences, perhaps you don't need to win the races then to have them for free just be a returning player (PC/PS4/Xbox One).

 

It's still better to have them with prices though because at least you then get some money back from them if you decide to sell later.
