Description: You need to drive up to Broker for a drug deal but have to stay overnight? Business conference in Venturas but you can't afford a hotel? Never fear, Quicommodation has you covered! Quicommodation is a peer-to-peer homestay network that allows cheap tourists and criminals to stay in someone's apartment or home for a few days - whether they want to rent the place out while they're on their own holiday, or you have to stay in their closet. Currently starting to overtake the hotel market, creating an open air for privatization in the industry and jump starting gentrification in urban areas, but don't worry, you're only hastening the inevitable.

Description: Originally a skater brand started in downtown Algonquin, Superior has shifted it's hands into every corner of the youth fashion market and became a staple of streetwear culture. Superior creates simplistic hats, clothing and other items donning the iconic blue logo and commonly collaborates with punk and hip hop musicians. Don't ever call it a streetwear brand, though. It's lifestyle.

Whatever that is.

Note: The inspiration for Superior is now in GTA V as Bigness.

Portsmouth
Based on: Plymouth.
Founded: 1923.
Defunct: early 2000s.
Motto: "When Schyster doesn't scream "America" loud enough."

Website: None.

Description: Portsmouth was a car manufacturer introduced in Liberty City in 1923. It was Schyster's division responsible for building low-end vehicles in order to compete with Vapid and Declasse. During the 1940s & 1950s, Portsmouth vehicles were the second-most popular ones in the United States. The 1960s and early 1970s were the greatest times for Porstmouth. Back then, many iconic cars were made. After the early 1970s, Portsmouth vehicles were just rebaged Maibatsus and Schysters, so there's nothing more interesting about the make.

The service has exploded because of this idea and taken over the private transport industry, prompting competitors like Ryde to jump in and try to emulate their huge success. Is it destroying the cab business and putting people out of jobs? Yes. Is it illegal? Most likely. Is it convenient? Sorta!

Website: www.tooligan.com

Motto: "Edgy clothing for wannabe racecar drivers."

Description: Founded in 2012 by racecar driver Tim Kross, this clothing brand/racing team has become a staple in modern car culture. Why you ask? Mostly because people (specifically teenagers) like to put their stickers on their parents' cars while chugging down 4 cans of Junk energy drink at once, and then crash into a pole because their cars aren't powerful enough to do a proper skid. They're also known for being the main sponsor of Kross' over-the-top, staged, and definitely not real gymkhana videos, in which he drifts around a barrel for 4 hours straight.

Makarva
Based on: Commodore International.
Founded: 1954.
Defunct: Went bankrupt in 1994.
Motto: "We bring the best affordable home computers and electronics to you."
Website: None.
Headquarters: Unknown.
Description: Originally founded in Canada in 1954, the Makarva International company provided various electronics across North America. Most notably, they produced programmable calculators, which then sprung into the computing market. In the late 70's, Makarva produced the VERMIN (Visual Electronic Recieval Message Intergrated Novelty), the first full-featured computer, and formed the basis for their entire 8-bit product line of the 1980's, including the CROC-50 and the Makarva 47, the latter of which is regarded as one of the best selling computers in the world, and it had a huge market in the UK like in it's native North America, supporting games on cartridges, floppy disks and casette tapes (which were common in the UK, and are rarer to find in America). Outside of home computers, Makarva also briefly had a market by developing tape decks with graphic equalizers that were sold in Fast-Forward In Vehicle Audio electronic stores. By 1986, the graphic equalizers became obsolete as Fast-Forward In Vehicle Audio closed around the US. Around that same time, Makarva also introduced the Chica personal computers, which were 16-bit or 32-bit instead of 8-bit like the previous home computers. The Chica computers were more popular in Europe than in America and enjoyed a huge success for nearly a decade when, unfortunately, the Makarva company was filed for bankruptcy in 1994. And although the company is long gone, their home computer legacy lives on.

I got the name for the company "Makarva" from Stuart Ashen's Ashenscast for Stand Up To Cancer stream, where he mentioned a fake computer called "Makarva 47".

Jack's Home Made Burgers

Based on: Bob's Burgers

Founded: 1986.

Defunct: Closed down in 2004.

Motto: "The best restaurant for home-made fast food in Liberty City."

Website: None.

Headquarters: Onondaga Avenue, Hove Beach, Liberty City.

Description: Founded by Jack and Alison Farter in 1986, Jack's Home Made Burgers is best described as a budget version of Burger Shot, with better hospitality and slightly higher quality food. Conveniently located on Onondage Avenue, which leads to the Funland in Firefly Island, this restaurant also contains the Farters' home, as it was founded on a rental property. The restaurant sold "Burgers of the Day", names of which are written on the board and are various puns and word play on films, music and whatnot, which are generally family-friendly, unless Jack's youngest daughter changed it to something inappropriate on the board. The Farters, consisting of Jack, Alison, and their children: Daniel, Wes and Pat are seen as very friendly people to anyone who visited their restaurant. Jack's Home Made Burgers went through a struggle of disasters and was re-opened once in 1994, then again in 1995 and yet again in 1996. It was once rumored that the restaurant sold human flesh, but it was later debunked. The restaurant's owner, Jack Farter, had a frequent rivalry with the owner of the Leone Pizzeria across the street, and despite the popularity amongst Americans and Russian imigrants, the restaurant was frequently visited by the health inspector, and eventually, the restaurant was closed down in 2004.
