Create Your Own Business/Company

Recommended Posts

Lunar_Twisted

We all know that in every GTA games that Rockstar made, they love to make up names of businesses that are based on real life companies and the jokes that companies has in their slogan. Like for example, in GTA IV, a building called "GetaLife", which is based on the "MetLife" building in NYC, Sprunk, which is based on Sprite, a airplane called "FlyUs", which is based on both US Airways & United Airlines. Whether a company/business is based on a fast food chain, an airline, retail store, food, website, clothing, transportation, car manufacturer, media, etc, it would be quite fun to come up with names of businesses for the GTA Series. The businesses you make up could be anything.

Rules:

- Name a spoof company that is based on real life(ex: Pißwasser is a parody of Budweiser).

- When was the company found(ex: this company was found in 1876)

- Make up a slogan & motto for your company(ex: Pißwasser's slogan is "German Fighting Lager For Export Only").

*Make sure the company you made up is in a specific category. If your company is going to be based on a drink, then put "drink" above the description of the company that your going to describe.

Here are my list of business/companies that I made up:

Airline

  • Heaven Airlines is a airline in the GTA Series that is based on Spirit Airlines.
  • The company was found in 1989.
  • Slogan & Motto: "When we fly in the clouds, you feel like your in heaven.

Cab Company

  • Speedy ExPresso is a cab company in the HD era that is based on Uber. They claim that they can get their passenger(s) quicker and safer than those sh*tty yellow Vapid cabs in both Liberty City & Los Santos.
  • The company was found in 2005.
  • Slogan & Motto: "We will get you there no matter what".

Bank

  • Traitor's Bank Union or TBU is a bank in the HD era that is based on Western Union.
  • The company was found in 1915.
  • Slogan & Motto: "Stealing a loan behind someone's back & send it out to another county is a great thing".

Drink

  • Mrs. Spice is a brand that is featured in the GTA Series and it's based on Dr. Pepper.
  • The company was found in 1829.
  • Slogan & Motto: "If she taste good, you can have her. We have more to sell."

Media

  • City Wide News or CWN is a news media that is featured in GTA HD era and it's based on CNN. The company said they have better news coverage and better in-depth stories than Weazel News.
  • Found in 1989.
  • Slogan & Motto: "Getting the stories straight, real reporting and no fake coverup."

Bus

  • The Big Blue is a bus company in the HD era and it is based on the real life bus company Megabus. The bus company claim that people prefer taking The Big Blue because it's super cheap and they hate paying high fare on local bus service.
  • Found in 2009.
  • Slogan & Motto: 2009 - 2012 "Cheaper ride, cheap maintenance at it's lowest. It can't get any cheaper than that."
  • Slogan & Motto: 2013 - Present "A cheaper way to travel."

Vendors

  • Pee Nuts is a company that sells nuts in the HD era. The company claim that their nuts has more ingredients than The Nut House.
  • Found in 1996.
  • Slogan & Motto: 1996 - 2010 "Getting your mouth full of it."
  • Slogan & Motto: 2011 - Present: "Getting your mouth dirty good."

Clothing

  • America's Culture Style Outfitters or ACSO is a clothing store based on American Eagle Outfitters.
  • Found in 1989.
  • Slogan & Motto: 1989 - 2009 "Choosing the right style"
  • Slogan & Motto: 2010 - Present "Clothes that fits right on you."

Airline

  • Global Airlines is an airline that is based on Delta Airlines.
  • Found in 1916.
  • Slogan & Motto: "Polluting the air as we go.

Store

  • Everything Items is a store that is based on Best Buy.
  • Found in 1990.
  • Slogan & Motto: "Everything you need is in here"

Website

  • Netstream is a streaming service that is based on Netflix.

  • Slogan & Motto: "Making your cable worthless".

Media

  • Stock Market News or SMN is a news media that is based on CNBC and it focus on what's happening in our economic money.
  • Found in 1985.
  • Slogan & Motto: 1985 - 2010 "Watching the stock market drop."

Motto: "We're the only good taxi cab company, only because we think so."
Description: A group of self-proclaimed "professional" taxi cab drivers had decided to start their own business. Back then, all they had was four Staniers and one Minivan. Currently, Mandarin Cab still uses Staniers, but they've replaced Minivans with Dilettantes, because of the growing amount of liberals and because of Rainier Eco Cab.

Founded: 2007.

Something that should've been done before, but nobody decided to do it aka "Don't let this thread die".

130v5XJ.png
Based on: Rockstar Games.
Founded: 1998.

Defunct: No.
Motto: "Making the video game industry politically incorrect since 1998."
Website: www.mtlhdgames.com

Description: Founded in 1998 by the Cummings brothers (Gary & Jerry) and Roger Beck, Metalhead Games is a well known video game publisher which is responsible for a lot of politically incorrect video games. Studios owned by Metalhead Games consist: Metalhead Scotland, Metalhead United Kingdom and Metalhead San Andreas. The list goes on. Fun fact about this video game publisher is that Gary, Jerry and Roger had wanted to start a brutal death metal band, but seeing they couldn't even use instruments properly, they decided to join in the video game industry. That's why Metalhead Games is called "Metalhead Games". Here's a list of certain video games published by MG:

  • Steal 'n' Chase 5 (produced by Metalhead Scotland) - Remember Los Sacredotes from Steal 'n' Chase: San Agueda? Have you expected to see a story about gangbanging, then? How about RPG elements? Metalhead Games says "Go f*ck yourself!" In the newest S'n'C installment all you get is a short and over-the-top storyline with tryhard missions that look like they were supposed to be a high-budget Vinewood action comedy movie. The game is also criticized for having few low-end cars and too many supercars with low level of details and the same interior model in every single car, annoying Latin music in the soundtrack and (of course) not having ghetto themed storyline.
  • Wangan Outrun: BOMW Edition (produced by Metalhead San Andreas) - The third Wangan Outrun video game known for its misogynistic content (every single woman is shown as an attention whore who is scantily dressed, does strange sexual poses and can't drive a car). Besides, you can install various strange things into your car, like 30-inch wheels for the Karin Sultan. What do you expect after a video game made in association with Benny's Original Motor Works? There are three places you can race in: Alderney, Carcer City and San Fierro. In the extension pack called "Wangan Outrun: BOMW Editon REWORK" you can also race in Japan.
  • Kirk Jay 3 (produced by Metalhead Canada) - A third-person shooter mainly known for the ability to use "bullet time" during shooting. The story is about an ex-LSPD undercover cop called Kirk Jay who slips into the criminal underworld of Vladivostok, because two Russian Mafia members had kidnapped his kids and smuggled them to Russia. KJ3 features Russophobia. Lots of Russophobia.
  • Steal 'n' Chase: Privilege City (produced by Metalhead Scotland) - For many players, the most revolutionary Steal 'n' Chase installment ever made. You take control of unnamed Italian-American who doesn't speak any word and you're working for various gangs in Privilege City (sadly, after completing the storyline, all of them want to kill you). Its best known feature is the plane you can't literally fly. S'n'C Privilege City's beta version is still one of the most interesting mysteries in the gaming world.

Peetender

Based on: Nintendo

Founded: 1956

Defunct: No

Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan

Website: www.peetender.com

Motto: "Providing quality games for children and adults of all ages since 1977."

Description: Peetender originally started as a company producing household electrical supplies sold only in Japan, it wasn't until the late 70's when they got into the gaming business with their own Ping consoles, again, only sold in Japan. The Peetender Interactive System, known as Okamacom in Japan, has saved the gaming industry overseas from the video game crash of 1983, mostly thanks to it's excellent platformer, Hyper Diaz Bros., which eventually turned into a franchise, spawning tons of sequels and spin-off games, while the main character, Diaz, became the main mascot for Peetender, and one of the most iconic video game characters. In 1989, Peetender also made a revolution in portable gaming with their handheld, the Play Child, which came with the world-famous puzzle game, Kirpich. Most of the games they make are suitable for children, and are a huge success everywhere, except for Russia. Peetender's most recent gaming system is Hrrr Gurk, which, unlike the previous systems, even it's predecessor, the Hrrr, and the handheld equivalent, the 4TS, has sold pretty poorly, thanks to it's ridiculous name, which confused the public like nothing on Earth and the lack of third-party game titles compared to it's competitors, the EXsorbeo Uno and the Polyhouse 4. It should also be noted that Peetender is now invested in making games on mobile devices like the iFruit and Drone phones.

Motto: "Bringing Vinewood and regular life closer than ever"

Description: Probably the last remaining of the websites from the celebrity-bang of the mid-2000's. It specializes on everything celebrity and socially related. Some of its articles have been criticized for enforcing sterotypes, invading people's private lives, and being pure clickbait. It mostly appeals to the younger women demographic of the internet, so the website also brings out constant articles on "life hacks" and beauty tips.

While it specializes in everything pop culture, it's more famously known for it's music news side, which includes reviews and exclusive interviews with famous artists in the modern-day music scene. Vinyl Haven is also notorious for changing their opinions towards something at the moment it becomes popular, one example being Madd Dogg's "Tha Maddhouse"'s review score from an 8.5 to a 4.3 just a couple of days after its initial release.

Another person made an expansion of the business that only exists in the 3D Universe, so I believe my idea below is a fair game.

Vinyl Countdown

No logo yet, because I don't know if I should reuse the 3D Era logo (like R* did in that hipster update for GTA Online), or made a new one.

Based on: Nothing (generic music store).
Founded: 1965.

Defunct: No.
Motto: None/Unknown.

Description: Vinyl Countdown was founded in the mid-1960s by a hippie from San Fierro who wanted to promote peace and love by music. Originally, it sold vinyl records by lesser known folk/psychedelic rock bands, but with the rising popularity of the store, it's been selling various music, ranging from obscure jazz bands to the most popular artists, since the early 1970s. Since that moment, Vinyl Countdown is still growing and people still tend to buy physical albums (mainly hipsters, but who cares?). Besides physical albums, it's possible to buy digital versions of songs.

In-game usability: Tracks bought by the player can be heard on the station that plays music chosen by him/her.

Description: The "#1" nightclub in Rainier that tends to keep things "fresh". Though, it's playing all that annoying and predictable EDM stuff from the get-go. Besides the music, Base Nightclub offers various overpriced drinks (but with fancy names given them), VIP areas that cost thrice as much as drinks and a lot of teenagers who take at least 15 selfies within 2 hours. When the nightclub is open, many high-end vehicles park outside, so it's a good occassion to steal one of them, and then sell the stolen vehicle on the Dark Net. The nightclub is open between 21:00-6:00.

Some rumors say that amateur girls (that's how people call new strippers) are addicted to heroin and can be taken home easily.
In-game usability: Music from various radio stations can be heard inside the club. The player can drink alcohol (both male & female characters), check his/her bank account (both male & female characters), receive a private dance for $20 (male characters only), throw money at the strippers (male characters only) and take a stripper home (male characters only). Just like in GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City, there are three levels of dance sessions:

  • A basic dance performed by one stripper with a bra ($20).
    plays in the background.
  • More sensual dance conducted by the same stripper as above, but without the bra ($60).
can be heard in the background.
  • A second stripper joins in for a duo sessions. Both strippers don't have bras ($120). During the 3rd level,
    plays in the club.

Bamboozle

Kun Drill (and other tools)

The name is a play on the word "c*nt Drool".

Based on: N/A

Founded: 1996

Slogan: "The itch to DRILL!" (The hardware store has numerous billboards and some of them are vandalised with a letter B added to make the motto inappropriate.)

Description: An average hardware store that acts like the ones in Vice City and curiously sells non construction related objects. The only difference is that the store specializes a bit more on power drills due to the owner's obsession with them. The store sells hammers, pocket knives, crowbars, shovels, screwdrivers, nail guns, katanas, chainsaws, axes, baseball bats and the one and only power drill. The store can be robbed and the player can gain a maximum of $300.

I thought we already had a Google parody, called Eyefind.

That was Yahoo. They integrated a few more Google-y things in V but it was still very much Yahoo.
