This is another good idea that is poorly executed, even moreso than the match/race betting odds. Why not put that $20K into a pot, winner gets $100K, 2nd gets $35K, 3rd gets $25K, or whatever configuration they want.

With absolute greed like this its probably a good thing they haven't opened the casino, it would probably be even more of a ripoff that a real one. Roulette odds are 1 in 38 but pay 36 to 1 in the real world, in Los Santos it would probably be 25 to 1 payout. Come to think of it, im kinda surprised they havent built the casino, there seems to be no shortage of people willing to buy shark cards for digital possessions, why not allow them to play rigged slots or craps? Why not implement instant scratch off games from the San Andreas lottery?

It also looks like they took the cooldown period away. I was able to start another one right after finishing one yesterday.

I think the 45 minutes cooldown period only exists if you win.

That takes care of the money laundering side, sure, but you don't have to know too much about the history of online poker in the States to see why launching anything could be construed as too big a risk to revenue.

 

It's like garage space, who knows? But companies won't f*ck around with payment processors if the CEO likes his job, IMO.

That's not always true. The Pokemon series removed the casino games because some of the places they sold it has legal issues even with the depiction of gambling even if you could not gamble actual money.

So yes if gambling laws were the issue then they never would of allowed us to bet on competitive game modes. The reason they allow us to bet on competitive game modes is because even though you can buy GTA money with real money to gamble with you can't turn GTA money into real money if you win.

 

The history of online poker you mentioned is a perfect example. The piece of legislation that outlawed Internet poker didn't make online poker illegal it made the transfer of money for purposes of gambling illegal. So in regards to GTA there isn't a transfer of money because you can only put money in. That legislation doesn't prohibit people from playing online poker and it doesn't prohibit website from allowing people to play online poker it only prohibits the transfer of money back and forth.

 

There are a million and one slot machine/casino games and apps available and in some you have the ability to buy tokens or chips with real money but since you can't withdraw money it isn't illegal.

Made around 2 mil this past weekend alternating between premium and regular stunt races. Didn't once feel like a grind either.

There's a new one active, Chiliad in T20. First three positions are now rewarded: 1st - 100k, 2nd - 30k, 3rd - 20k. 48 minutes cooldown applies to all podium places.

Negative. It seems that only T20 owners get to participate. The only choice I had was my own T20.

Definite improvement, just I ran out of garage space with CS. Maybe I'll set my secondary character up with a racing stable, should be easier to hustle with a level 135 female anyway.

It's only somewhat worth the bother if you already own one then. If you go fresh, you'll need to win it 30 times straight to break even on a race-ready T20, and that's simply not possible with the winner cooldown.

I wouldn't start cheering too soon if I were you. You really have to be quite lucky on this one. On my first two tries I came in 4th and 6th because of idiots ramming into everything/everyone. On my 3rd try I was lucky enough to come in first after another very messy start and I won the race without any problems. H200 was a lot more about racing skill than this one.

I wouldn't start cheering too soon if I were you. You really have to be quite lucky on this one. On my first two tries I came in 4th and 6th because of idiots ramming into everything/everyone. On my 3rd try I was lucky enough to come in first after another very messy start and I won the race without any problems. H200 was a lot more about racing skill than this one.

The start does suck, with that narrow section of track.You need to either be risky and go outside right away, run the curb and get ahead of everyone, or if they start you at the back, you might be better off staying in the middle of the track, taking it easy at first, and waiting for people to inevitably fly off the track on that long curve to clear your way. There are some countries that disagree with that. They could ban all of GTAO in those countries or else Rockstar would have to disable the casino to players in those countries.

tried it couple of times and got my ass kicked every tiem, so i went to the non premium version of the same race and did 7 laps solo with the same car just to learn the track. (max lap nr in stunt races for some reason?) started doing much better after that, usually finish 2nd or 3rd and even won it once.

I don't know if i'm the only one with this problem but every time I try to join a premium/stunt race it always puts me in a lobby by myself or with an afk host and no one else joins (I waited 20 minutes). It might just be internet issues for me.
