FYI there's apparently a glitch that means no cooldown for podium places. Not tried it myself but its out there.

Yup, it works perfectly, really easy to do.

 

I presume you do it by leaving the session when your spectating the other players?

Yep. Just use the Omnis and you'll win most times if you can drive properly.

Yup, it works perfectly, really easy to do.

It's just an exploit really. Don't think you need to leave session while spectating..

 

 

just start the race via the blue corona, or from the map screen, rather than by the quick job phone option

so far im finding it to be a little bit harder to get full races with rally as opposed to plummet...people cant just drive an OP-7B on the rumble strips in this race so i dont think as many will play it...

Probably right, it never gets much love on voting screens (f*cking motorbike races).

 

Short sh*tty point-to-points seem to be the Titan of a Job of stunt races, everyone votes Chiliad or Plummet even though they pay less and require more skill (than most players have).

Is anyone else unable to change their bike during this weeks premium race? Its locked to the motorcycle class but once we get to the ready screen about 2-3 people start to leave quickly because I'm guessing they can't choose their bike.

I was able to choose from all of my bikes until about 8:00 last night. There was a notification that said "active premium race updated", and since then I can only use my BF-400. The funny thing is most of the other racers are still using bati, akuma, and hakuchou.

My main character has a BF400 and has been locked on it for this week's premium race while getting smoked by others using a Bati or Akuma. Fortunately, I can choose my bike for my 2nd character who doesn't have a BF400.

Exactly, it is. Also, if you previously did a race car, the bike you'll get in the premium will be the first alphabetically.

I generally always do the Premium Races, but this one is both non-contact and you're stuck with whichever bike you used previously? I don't mind the non-contact part, but not being able to choose the bike is ridiculous and seems like yet another bug from this update.

Anyone try this yet? I got put in a lobby by myself and after 10 minutes of waiting i left, im curious if all the payouts are higher or just the winner's.

Played it for two days during Afterburner race. Won $2.5 mil. Gotta go to auto aim though. I've never gotten a full premium race lobby in free aim.

I've seen many people starting forest with a faggio, lol. Yes, I usually race threading the needle, choose akuma, and then the akuma is the only one I can race with in premium. I've also seen that premium races had a host, and you could actually chance settings, needless to say, no-one waned to start such a race..

It may have to do something with the fact that Forest is off-road bike only, and not just off road

Been stuck with the Hexer with my main character and fortunately the Bati 801 with my second character I can't change with any of them though! And it definitely has nothing to do with what we we used in races before, never used the Hexer. Like, NEVER. 🤔 Wrote R* a ticket and all they say is to update the console and do sh*ts in my console, like their game was never broken of course!

If your main character only has a custom hexer, that's your bike for now. Just buy the Akuma for tracks like this (cheap af). If you have more bikes with a character, it does depend which one you chose before during a race.

Btw, I think you can only do premium races with custom cars/bikes

So I've seen some weird things with the latest premium race. Aside from the "host" races. When u try to respawn, near the tricky jump where most fail, u end up in some sort of a limbo where u can't rejoin the race. U also see people just standing there on the track. The weirdest, a guy actually bumped me out of the race in the last corner, as in contact, something similar happened with the over the bridge track, but then u didn't heard me complaining.

I saw the other post, I was just wondering if this only happens with the Shotaro or with other bikes too? I imagine you've tested it with other bikes but since your vid/gif shows a Shotaro I just wanted to confirm.
